Got my Kia from here back in 2021, everything went well for that transaction, I then got my vehicle recommended service here every single time with no prior issue also. I recently went since my turn signal was not correctly working, before going I called to find out pricing, I was quoted $70, when I showed up a few hours later I was told pricing would be $140, when I brought up I called them prior and was quoted something different they kept pushing back that I was incorrect, I offered to provide a recording of the call which they accepted, Edwin gave me his email, I also asked for the supervisors email and I got an email for an Ismaya, once I sent the email on May 19th, I got an error message that the email I got for Ismaya was incorrect(which I repeated several times before leaving), and Edwin never followed up. I also brought up the services I've done in the past with them are not coming up on carfax, and I was told there was a delay, I mentioned I got all my services here meaning it's been over a year and I was told he would have my information reported, which to this day has not. I'm putting a 1 star today because it's been almost 2 months and I never received a follow up call or email. I never plan to come here again, whether is for a trade in, new vehicle or get my car serviced. read more

I called to check if my vehicle has a recall or extended warranty for a steering issue. I press 1 for service, lady picks up, I ask if it was service since the first two times after ringing for minutes I got Finance and sales. She said yes. Once I told her what I need, she didn't say anything then the phones just ringing again. I get a voicemail and done. I call back, 3 more times same thing. Finally when she picks up I tell her don't put me on hold or transfer me, this is my situation and she says yes you need a service advisor. I thought you were service? Yes but I'm not a advisor. This place is a joke. I get a service advisor and he tells me in order to check that, you need to talk to the person who makes appointments at the front desk. Either nobody wants to help a customer check or nobody wants to work but everybody is just throwing it on another. read more

Hands down, Umer Farooq at Van Nuys Kia is the absolute best. We had a price in mind that we were willing to pay, asked him to let us know if he had any cars that fit our criteria and send a written breakdown of the total out-the-door price. And he did! I'm sure the dealership made money on our deal, as they should, yet their offer was $5k less than a very similar car we had seen two days earlier. Not only that, he was professional, and very pleasant to deal with. Anyone who has spent time car shopping knows how tiresome it can be. I have never felt the urge to rate a business on Yelp. Today I feel compelled! Service advisor does not follow through with simple requests. I went to the Van Nuys Kia to the service department for a diagnostic check up on my car. All I needed was the complementary car wash and the headlight replaced in addition to the diagnostic. They had my car all day long and when I came back to pick it up the car wash had not been done nor the headlight replaced. Then I went to the parts department To purchase a headlight for myself. Went to install the headlight and it was the wrong one. How can that happen when I gave them paperwork with my car specifics? I came back to have some maintenance taken care of as a result of the diagnostic. I went to return the headlight and of course, I have miss placed the receipt. ( but showed my bank statement w proof of purchase). After much negotiation, they finally approved a check to be sent by mail!!!!!! WTF? Finally getting into my car to drive home. I look at my center consul to find the $1.50 in quarters I left.....Specifically to test the integrity of the department. As it is my first time with this New Kia dealership. Unreal.... GONE!!! I actually like smart ass remarks and joking around but when the teenager in a shiny suit with his mask below his nose is supposed to take me in a test drive my spidey sense says *Danger*. He thought it was funny that I was concerned about COVID and made a comment about me being worried about it. Aren't we all? I made an appointment to test drive a car. I was told on the phone "come any time we aren't busy today." When I showed up I was told to go to the other side of the hovel that passes for the showroom. When I got there I was told the car I was there to drive was in storage. When I said I made a reservation and was told the car was there the shiny covidiot said they "were really busy all day." Opposite of what they told me on the phone. They should at least get their stories straight. Anyway, stay far away from these clowns unless you like aggravation or just have a low expectation of customer service. I'm really glad I didn't go inside the building who knows what they were doing in there. This place is not particularly covid safe from what I experienced. Maybe all Kia dealers are like this? They sold me car services twice because my English is not good and they added these car services separately to my contract and they owed me about $11,000 for nothing they gave me this car for $72,000, the market price of the car I bought was 31,000 so my English wasn't good and that's why They took advantage and got me into a lot of debt and at the same time, my car is about to be under warranty for six years and they made this sale knowing that. I purchased a Kia Sedona, I'm annoyed that they were so HELPFUL during the sale time and everything I needed, the sales man, manar was amazing, but after that everything went down hill regarding everything. I was told it would take 2 months to receive a part for my new van, to make it automated and I have called several times and have yet to get a response back regarding this. I spoke to Sunny, the manager or whoever he is, and NOTHING has been done! I'm over it, I love my van, but never again will I do business with this KIA. My husband is military and we are only here for another month and I let them know I need it done sooner than later but they don't seem to care. Everyone is just giving me the run around!! They did install a TV in my car like I requested, but the TV is giving me issues and since it's running through the radio, the radio stations come through instead of the movie, they didn't ask me how many headphones I needed, and they gave me 2, and I have 4 kids, I asked where I can order more and they said "I will let you know", well they haven't.
