I was in last night to see about trading in an existing lease for a hybrid. I met with RJ who had the car & keys ready and waiting for me to get there to test drive. They offered me water & made sure I was comfortable. RJ along with Michael the sales director worked hard to get a deal together that worked for everybody. They were super friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about the cars & the industry in general. You could tell the two of them really care about the customer. I'm so grateful. With these gas prices going up the way they are it's going to be so amazing to have such a reliable and fuel efficient car. Finalizing everything with the finance department went very smoothly as well. He was also very friendly. Didn't mind my extra questions before signing everything. (I've had some bad experiences with the last dealership I worked with & wanted to avoid that). He answered everything I asked and also explained each document very clearly. He offered me extra add-ons but did it in a way that did not feel pushy or make me feel pressured. After having very unsavory and unsatisfying experiences at other Kia Dealers I was pleasantly surprised at the Customer Service I received at Kia Van Nuys! There were some recalls that needed to be completed, and Martha Hernandez was A Customer Service Queen ~ provided a lovely warm greeting, was friendly, relaxed, professional, efficient. The contrast between her and some of the other people I have experienced through KIA over the years ~ be it Corporate or other dealers was of Cosmic Proportions. Not only did they do a great job, they also had an air conditioned place for people to sit, with coffee and tea. In addition to that, their facility was very clean and everyone there was friendly, engaging and smiling. (You don't see that much ANYWHERE you go). And, they washed the car, too! I told Martha and the Department Head next to her that if I did'nt have a good experience this go around, I was going to sell the car. i went to van nuys kia on 6-24-25 for a LOF tech forgot to install 2 bolts and left 3 bolts loose for the engine under cover on 8-4-25 i went over a bump the under cover was loose and a piece of the under cover broke off i took veh to vannuys kia on 8-7-25 dealer replace eng under cover with used one that very wormed and cracked i told manager that i did not wanted this used undercover manager offer to replace it with a better one when one is available but do not know when i think that a replacement with a new one will be the correct thing to do since it was the dealer mistake when performing the lof. read more

I wanted to leave a review after test driving today. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at the sales customer service as this dealership. 4-5 stars for sure on the review. Having had a really bad experience years ago at the Keyes Hyundai down the street ,I was skeptical, but have the Kia dealership a shot to test drive the Telluride. Big shout out to Mousa S and Cris T in the sales department for being incredibly accommodating on the test drive. I laid out our parameters pretty clearly and have to say I did not get a bit of the typical sales push back and rushing to get the sale that happens at some dealerships. Anyway...My wife and I were going to have to split our test drive due to a scheduling issue where one of us went in the morning and the other on the evening. I was blown away that the sales team offered to take the car on a test drive to my house so my wife could see it there and not have to come By later that day. (To be fair I live within 5 miles of the dealership so it was reasonable and not a huge time suck for anyone). But service like this is it what I was expecting and was a pleasant surprise. Still working out the details but the Telluride test drove really great and we are highly considering it as our choice for our new car. read more

And JJ provided a great buying experience. JJ was positive, helpful and got out of his way to get my ideal Telluride trim and color. The price was reasonable based on all the research that I did. I gave in to some of the "accessories" that I really didn't need, but they were willing to negotiate and I believe other KIA dealerships were marking up their cars even more. I'm curious as to how they have 4stars because i've never been treated worse. They must have fake reviews because i had to call 3 times for a simple parts question. I wanted to get a second key for my car and the first time the guy hung up (minded after i was put on hold for 10-15 minutes) and when i called back he blamed my service (i was on wifi). He transferred me over to the service department and the lady who i spoke to told me it was a parts question and instead of transferring me she hung up the call. Bought a Kia Niro in 2022 and the car ran great, but have had some issues with the viehical alone. I have taken in the car multiple times and today I took the car in for service for an oil change and for a part which was the inside front light assembly, the service guy told me that they would not be able to fully fix the part due to not having anyone onboard. They were also told me they were understaffed and to go another Kia or go to one in Carson to fix my issue or come back in a month on a Monday through Thursday. I checked in after an hour which was qouted to me for the service and had no response through text or through call. Went over there and the car was ready but not washed and wanted to waste another 30mins to wash the car. I am very disappointed with the way I've been treated and the way the car runs. read more

This will be my second review for this Kia service center . I was here in the past and the service was not good . So I came back 5 months later to try and give them a second chance . But this time it was 10 times worts . My car was in the shop for 8 days and the only thing that got done was the basic service . They couldn't get the window switch fixed like the last time I was there . Also a noise from the steering wheel they told me it wasn't safe to drive so my car needed to stay longer , but then they tell me I could come pick up my car . After the fact I kept pushing about the status of my car . I can't believe this dealership won't get things done . But they will make you spend your money . So after spending 303.00 dollars for a services and 550.00 dollars for a rental car so they can have the time to fix all the problems with the car . They fail to do so . I took my car back with just a basic service done I can't believe I left my car here for 8 days and nothing got fixed . But they asked me for more time of course with me having to continue to pay for the rental car . At no time did they offer to help with the rental cost . Now I'll have to wait I don't know how long for a call to bring the car back and have them try to fixed it . Meaning I will have to leave this car again for who knows how long . . read more
