I don't want to wait a whole week or two to get it waxed. I make my own money and I would like to do whatever I want with it. So for her to dismiss me like I was wasting my parents money on some wax is insane. I already made an appointment here and I already made my way to this place just for you to tell me to put my shirt back on and go back home is crazy. Thank you for your advice on waiting but I still would've paid that much money even if I had to come back next week or two weeks later. (Underarm)

She let me know she wouldn't be able to complete all of the services due to my lateness, which I understood. I was then passed to another specialist who ended up being great and very kind. What stood out to me was the difference in energy...during my service things felt tense and short, yet I could hear her being very giddy and talkative with her next client. It just made me feel a bit uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially since I already felt bad about being late. I never had an issue waxing before and knew the risks. When the process was complete, I got up and looked in the mirror and my face had small bumps/hives. I asked Rosemary what they were and she said I'm having an allergic reaction, and recommended that I take Benadryl before waxing my face again.... I thought, OK, this is temporary. 3 days later and the hives have disappeared but my face has tiny acne bumps all over and it is ITCHY as hell. I don't know how long this will last for but it's not worth the money I paid. I wish Rosemary told me that I was having an allergic reaction WHILE she was waxing my face. I only found out after I looked in the mirror and had to ask what that was. She also missed a lot of the micro-hairs on my upper lip (and I usually thread my face which does a much better job of removing fine hairs). She is a really kind and sweet person but my sensitive skin did not react well to her products and waxing and I ruined a perfectly fine face for a painfully itchy acne-prone one. Not worth it.

As always I waited until the last minute to go to the salon before our trip, and the girls at Vanity Private Studio was able to fit me into a very tight schedule. I was in a rush to leave the house and unfortunately hit traffic on the way over there. To add to my misery, when I finally got there and went to pull out change for the parking meter when I realized that I did not bring any money with me! Apart from wanting to burst into tears, I decided to go in and let me know that I needed to cancel my appointment. To my total surprise, Liz decided to take me in anyway! I was so impressed I could not stop smiling. They trusted me and gave me both services upfront. Her next client was thankfully running late! I would never dream of not paying someone, but still, they did not know me at all and trusted me. That really impressed me so much that I went home, got my purse and drove back there to pay them immediately. Marlene is a true angel, she listened to my requests and concerns and provided me with an exquisite massage. Their signature massage is unmatched as far as I am concerned. I run an alternative health center and I refer all my clients to her and they love her too. She is personable AND professional. She has a special technique where she uses different types of wax for different types of hair and its actually relatively painless and she never leaves wax or marks. I had a really good experience at Vanity Private Studio. They made me look and feel great. Now to the massage. I'm a little bit of a larger gal and don't usually get massages. Angel City massage is located in the Vanity Private Studio. I had the swedish massage and have to admit it was sooo good I fell asleep. Will was fantastic. He put me at ease right away. This is rare and I appreciated this. I made an appointment for cryo therapy, to reduce some stubborn fat in both arms. The procedure itself was painless and did not experience anything negative. No downtime and can go about my day. Made it in, and Maggie was very pleasant, patient and honest all the way. With her help now, I have started to watch more of what I eat, especially carbs and refined sugars. As I keep going for more sessions and inquire diet/exercise I do hope to see and loose a few inches. There's parking in a private parking lot, as well as a nice waiting area to lounge until you're called. There's a kiosk available for sign-in, and the space has actually been newly reorganized so that check-in is at the entrance. Love that! As for the lasering. This is my first time ever doing laser, and it seems different technicians give different time frames. At first, I was told to give it about 4-6 sessions, and then other techs started saying 6-8 as I was nearing my 6th. Maybe they all have different ideas or training, but it felt a bit uneasy at first, and I wondered if they'd keep moving the number as I continued treatment. I saw major results after the very first session. It took a second, and at first I thought it couldn't have worked, until 3 weeks in, I just so happened to realize my girly girl was almost fully bald! Haha, I didn't even realize! Then of course, some started growing back in, but that was an awesome result for a first session. Now that I've done my 6th session, I can say that it's pretty great and thorough, but I do have 2 stubborn spots. The annoying thing is that they have you shave before you come in, so you can't accurately show them the exact stubborn spot. I do wish they'd let me come in as-is and shave THERE after they located the stubborn spots, since I am basically spot treating now. They do have the time for it, as your booked window is 15 minutes, and the treatment part isn't even 5 minutes. Everyone is super nice, and people are clean. FYI, they will not do the inner part if you're on your cycle. This happened for my first session. I waxed before, and every wax technician allowed a tampon. Since lasering is less hands-on, and gloves are used, I assumed I'd be good to go with a tampon. But nope! She only did the top part, which I believe is why the inner area is more stubborn, because technically I got 5 treatments for that part, unlike the other parts. There are patchy spots on the top part too, so I know that's not the sole reason some parts still need treatment, but still. Just be mindful of your cycle when booking! I'll be back for my 7th session in about a week. Hopefully I don't need monthly sessions after this one. We'll see! It's definitely great value when using classpass, so no complaints there from me!
