Ohhh yes. My kind of place. Raggedy, but some pretty delicious duck. I'm an avid patron of this 'restaurant' as I come here and order full ducks often. If you have never had duck, I would recommend you to try it out as its just tasty. Anyways lets get to it. This place is located right off central in a little corner across the street from the gas station and such. It's a very small spot as its truly just a take out spot. Not quite a dine in place. They have pretty authentic Chinese dishes as when you go in you can see their menu of some bizarre things. Also, I wanted to note their sanitary score. Even though its an A, it's not an high A. I think it's not bad considering what they prepare. Stick to the duck, and you will have no issues. The prices are very reasonable as I have been to other duck restaurants and it seemed to be really expensive. Overall, this place is a pretty good place for some authentic duck with a reasonable price. Take out, take home, and eat it with rice or bread... Awesome.

Got the roast pork heo quay. Menu says it's $18.50/lb, but it's actually $24.50. Quality was poor and tasted super dry. Would not recommend.

I just didn't enjoy the taste of what I got. Won't be back. I got the roast pork and a side of rice.

This is not that good, meat is not fresh, I ordered bbq pork and taste like leftover. Kind of regret going there.

It was pushing 97 degrees outside, and after a long afternoon of computer work and errands, I finally stopped in for the crispy scallion chicken and pan-fried dumplings. Huge portions. Fair prices. Friendly people. Consistently solid food every single time. The best part today honestly might have been the air conditioning. They've got a cool, comfortable space to wait while your order is prepared, which felt amazing after baking outside all day. I forgot to take food photos because I was hungry and ready to get home, but trust me, they pack these takeout containers like a game of Jenga. Nothing spills. Nothing shifts. Everything is packed tight and thoughtfully. Only tiny downside: the dumpling sauce goes into the same container as the hot dumplings, so by the time I got home, it had softened the bottom a bit. Still, the dumpling wrappers are thick and crispy enough to survive the trip. Into the air fryer later they go. One warning: the parking lot can be chaotic since it sits right off busy Providence Road. Just be patient. Cars are constantly pulling in, backing out, blocking entrances, and today people were absolutely treating red lights like suggestions. Saw it multiple times, including a bus cutting across traffic when I had the right-of-way. Charlotte drivers... please relax a little. That said, the food made the trip worth it. It unfortunately was quite bland, big chunks, & not crispy. Fried rice/ super bland, no additions except peas. I was unable to finish the rice due to blandness even with soy sauce. Great ambiance and staff- foods just not for me.

It is busy enough that plenty of other people had also called in for takeout. The price was higher than I thought it would be by a significant margin; I thought something was off but then rechecking their menu I saw it was indeed $20 for a vegetable entree. On the upside, they did offer brown rice at no extra charge. Still, I'll get three meals out of it and as someone who eats a lot of takeout, this was not a great value. In terms of quality, I was thrilled to find that they offered a stir-fried okra dish. This is a ubiquitous Indian dish, and of course okra is common throughout the tropics globally, but I'd never seen this offered at a Chinese restaurant before. And the rapid cooking technique typical of the cuisine produced a delightfully crisp vegetable, which went great with a black bean sauce and some very hot dried chilis. On the other hand, their interpretation of ma po tofu had some fermented broad beans but minimal vegetables (sometimes you get mushrooms or peas or at least some leeks or something) and no numbing sensation. They had a bean curd roll dish that I enjoyed, and some quality dumplings. Overall, not huge portions and a mix of okay to great quality.
