    Menudo to go.
    Son M.

I came in for menudo to go because I wasn't in the mood for the continental breakfast at my motel. I ordered at the counter and service was friendly. The food came out shortly afterwards and was well packaged for my short walk back to my motel room. The menudo was hot and filled with tripe. Much more tripe than hominy which made it a very rich menudo. The spice was balanced but did lean towards the milder end. Overall a hearty breakfast and I will return when the opportunity affords it!

A solid 3 stars for this neighborhood Mexican restaurant! Service was prompt and very cordial, we came for a light lunch around 1:30 pm on a Sunday and had ample parking and tables to sit at. Upon sitting we got a basket of chips that were warm and toasty: very delicious. The sauce was hot. I guess locals would call that normal- I'm a wimp so I felt the kick! Lol We ordered a carne guisada platter which was tasty and looked very appetizing. I ordered the Taco Pastor no onions, with a flour tortilla- and got a taco pastor. I was disappointed by the looks of what I was presented, but my daughter pointed out that that's exactly what I ordered... I didn't say "platter", so know the magic word for a full meal! Ha! The taco was actually all I needed to have as it was very filling, lots of good meat, but it was also somewhat greasy for my taste. Fast friendly service, good food, know what you order... that's a solid 3 in my book. Enjoy!

Solid breakfast, friendly staff, bright interior. I was along 183 and had heard nice things about this slightly-hidden Austin institution. Google maps will take you to the gas station next-door, but you'll want to drive an extra 20 feet and hit that second entrance. Would return.

Has. The classic omelet and coffee for breakfast. That is what they're known for is cheap breakfast and lunch for working class people. This fits the bill as I've got a day of errands today (Saturday) after a rain storm night. Was fairly quiet as I got here an hour after they opened. Everyone is friendly here, they greet you at the door. Decent place to enjoy a Mexican breakfast. My only complaint if I can find one is that they don't have pancakes, maybe another complaint is they aren't open in the evening .

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!

Oh my sweet, sweet Sweetgreen…read more I've always loved their salads and have recently become obsessed with their wraps. Their caesar salad wrap to be specific. Everytime I order from a Sweetgreen the veggies are fresh and the portion size vs. the price is fair. I can usually get two meals out of one order. I want to give major kudos to this location specifically because I accidentally left my wallet while visiting on a Saturday afternoon. After not being able to find my wallet thinking it was in my house somewhere I decided to stop by the Union Market Sweetgreen location to check on Monday. After about 5 minutes of waiting the manager came over to bring me my wallet. Yay! All of my belongings were still in it. I'm grateful for them holding onto my items. I look forward to visiting this location more often especially because they have a lot of seating. And side note, be sure to download their apps. It's super easy to earn rewards if you go there often. Enjoy!

Their hours are a little earlier than most places and most Sweetgreens for some reason. I ordered online and customized a nice salad. I had to pick a bug out of it, but honestly I'm not enraged; I'd like to have those removed during the cleaning process but a small fly hiding in some greenery is a natural thing and these are quality fresh plants. While it is mostly a takeout, the people working there were on point with service, even holding the door open for me.

It was so easy to order online and 15 minutes later my order was sitting on the To-Go shelf by the front door of the restaurant. It turns out they do have a few parking spaces in front with 15 minute To-Go parking and even a sign with a number for curbside pickup apparently. But going inside was much easier, and since it was a Friday night I actually had parked in the garage. Surprising the food wasn't still hot when I got home 5 minutes later, but I just zapped it in the microwave really fast. But I bet if they had kept it in the back under a heat lamp, it would have stayed hotter. The chili glazed sweet potatoes and the sweet corn quinoa were delicious and the steak was nicely seasoned and tasty after reheating it.

I chose the fresh burrito to avoid simple carbs. The food was a bit mild in flavor, so I asked for salsa. They have a delicious homemade habanero salsa that's bursting with flavor, and I especially appreciated that it wasn't smoky. That salsa alone earns five stars from me! I placed my order in the morning because I had a busy workday full of meetings and calls, and I wanted to have lunch handled in advance. Unfortunately, I later received a voicemail letting me know that items needed for my order were unavailable. At that point, I had to take time out of my schedule to call back, ask what was actually available, and choose another option. I ultimately ended up with my third choice rather than what I originally wanted. The bigger issue is that this should have been handled before customers were able to place orders. If certain ingredients or menu items are out of stock, that information should be updated in the app as early as possible so customers are not ordering items that cannot be prepared. It also creates problems for delivery drivers, who may arrive expecting an order to be ready only to find that there is confusion or a delay. Because the delivery app also made it difficult for me to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere, I felt stuck dealing with the inconvenience rather than being able to make a quick decision. I understand that inventory issues happen, but restaurants working with third-party delivery platforms need to make sure their menus, timing, and communication are accurate and up to date. Overall, I still appreciate the positive dining experiences I've had here in the past, but this to-go experience showed a real need for better coordination between the restaurant and delivery apps. Customers ordering ahead are often doing so because they have limited time, and the process should feel seamless, not stressful.
