Another rock star Vegan place in Henderson. So many options to choose from on the menu. Pages and pages of goodies and was so hard to decide even viewing what Yelpers liked made it difficult as well. Went with the spicy vegan Cali rolls, Thai iced tea with soy milk, spicy lemongrass noodle soup, chow run which had a soy based meat that almost tasted identical to the real thing, the vegan salmon nigiri even looked like real salmon, and ended a great meal with the carrot cake. The spice level was fine on the entries since I can't handle heat very well, had just the right amount of kick. For sure will be back when in the area. read more

Recommend? Yes if you're in the area. I got the buffalo wings, general Tso's chicken, Korean style bbq ribs, tiramisu, and Vietnamese coffee. Their entrees doesn't come with rice, but you can add it to your order for $1.50. I think for the price of the entrees it should come with rice. The buffalo wings comes on sticks and it's meant to imitate chicken. There is a crispy outside which makes it like a skin. The sauce is exactly like what I remember buffalo sauce to taste like. General Tso's chicken - this was my favorite of everything I ordered. The texture is a lot like chicken. It's sweet over savory. Korean style bbq ribs - this is nothing like what I remember Korean bbq to taste like. It's sweet and has a ton of sauce, but I wouldn't say anything reminiscent of Korean bbq. It is good though. Tiramisu - this is very similar to what non-vegan tiramisu tastes like. The creamy layer is so good and I love that coffee taste. It's best if you chill it before eating -if you got it to go. Vietnamese coffee boba - I did not like this at all. It's most likely because I was looking forward to that sweet and creamy iced coffee that I know so well, but this was nothing like it. The dishes have great textures and unique flavor profiles that really do mimic meat textures and are convincingly so similar to real chicken, pork, beef, etc. We will certainly be going back soon. I went in for the second time on a Friday noon. Similar to my prior visit, only a few tables were occupied. I'd previously tried their "spicy vegan beef stew noodle soup," which was satisfying. This time, I elected the "vegan Kung Pao chicken"--a large plate of mediocre food. The timid flavors and bland vegan chicken meat didn't go down well with plain white rice. As a newly plant based eater.... Places like this make the switch so much easier. Don't remember the dish I ordered but it Vegan Pork on top of it. The look, texture and taste was shockingly close. I've had a lot of beef and chicken alternatives but I just assumed pork would be impossible to mimic. The server was extremely helpful and said it was specially made overseas (made with peas) and mentioned the owner drives to California just to get it. This just resonates with me that they choose really great ingredients. My only knock was the fried rice. Although it did taste good it was just rice peas carrots and impossible beef. Something I make on my own so I was expecting something a little more. Japanese Lasagna was perfect! Wouldn't know the difference from the real thing. I've been here before and the service as well as the food was better. The server place one of the orders incorrectly, our pho noodles came out over cooked and the broth was so hot that we had to wait a bit for it to cool down. I also ordered the taro smoothie and it wasn't too good. The other two times I came here I had a better experience but this time was a bit disappointing. When we went to pay the cashier charged us for a different tables order and had to reverse the transaction and ring us up again. I've been holding back this review for quite a while because the owner is a sweetheart, but I must be completely honest here. Leaving my 5 star review for a place that I haven't been able to return to in over 6 months because of an incident is dishonest. In the past, I've always ordered the Spicy Lemongrass Pho, but on my last visit, I decided to try something new and opted for the Singapore Fried Rice Noodle. It was indeed delicious, full of flavor and fresh veggies! I thought I had found my new favorite...that is until I caught a glimpse of lime green. I thought maybe the lime green item might be some exotic vegetable that I had not yet learned about. I took a closer look, and discovered that it was actually a small caterpillar (photo included). I suddenly lost my appetite. I told our waitress, who eventually brought over the owner. The owner explained that they use organic produce so that happens occasionally, and she gave me a gift card to use on a future visit. I left perplexed. Of course I appreciate a restaurant that uses organic produce. I just don't understand how you miss a bug that big (and lime green) when you wash the produce AND when you chop it. I had spoken to the owner many times before this visit enough to know that she is a sweet and kind soul. So I avoided leaving this review at that time. A couple weeks ago, a friend of mine went to the restaurant with her two kids. Among other things, she ordered the spring rolls. After biting into one of them, she noticed the cook had somehow included plastic wrap inside of the roll. She told me she was so upset that she will never return, but thankful that at least her kids didn't eat it. I told her what happened to me, and she convinced me that I had to share the truth on here. Unfortunately, I don't think I can ever return to this place, but I really hope whoever is in the kitchen starts paying better attention to the cleanliness and construction of the food. I guess my love of VeggiEAT sushi made me neglect the rest of the menu. During my last visit to Vegas, we got our fill of vegan sushi elsewhere, so we decided to try something new. We were on a sandwich kick and I gently proposed trying the banh mi sandwich to my sister. She eagerly replied that she could eat sandwiches at every meal so we decided on the large BBQ and an order of buffalo wings, to split. The coating was something I have never seen on wings. It reminded me of tofu skin, which was a nice Asian twist. The texture of the buffalo wings had a realistic shredded quality. That buffalo sauce was incredible! We reserved some to go with our sandwich. The vegan BBQ meat was flavor-packed. The sauce was a sweet BBQ and the texture of the faux meat was incredibly satisfying. The slaw was sweet, tangy and crunchy. The bread was chewy and airy. My sister's eyes nearly popped out of her head after her first bite. I'm not Vegan but my son is and he absolutely loves this place! We've been here a couple of times and each time the food has been delicious and the service excellent. This time I ordered their orange chicken with brown rice and a mango iced tea. It was so good! So flavorful and you literally don't miss the "meat". Oh my goodness! I didn't know how great it felt to eat authentic Asian food that's entirely vegan! I have been here once before and enjoyed my time there but my most recent visit really just sent me through the roof in the best way! My most recent visit was catered more towards the sushi items on the menu. My group and I ordered each a roll and we shared. One of our rolls had items that weren't available anymore so someone had us try their vegan fish and WOW! The vegan fish alone just blew my mind because I didn't even know you could make "fish" vegan. It was such a delight. We totally enjoyed that Rainbow Roll because of it. The rice texture itself was intriguing to me because it didn't feel as heavy as your regular white rice. We even ordered the potstickers and I loved how hearty those were alone. I enjoyed my time here very much. It's just so nice to eat authentic Asian food without all the crazy meats to jump through. I am bringing more friends along. It is no wonder why this restaurant is so popular and has items sold out because of how great the food is! The service alone is great as well and they were always checking in on us, refilling our waters, taking our finished dishes away and just altogether being prompt. Personal tip: it is SOO worth getting that vegan jerky. I got all 3 on my last visit and it was just divine. I'll travel across the city for their jerky! My personal favorite is their classic jerky. For all the vegetarians out there...let me just say props to you because I don't think I could be a vegetarian, but you gotta give me credit for checking this place out! I figured the food has gotta be good because of the reviews, but boy was I wrong :(. I'm not sure why I had to pay $8 for this, but I won't make that mistake again lol. The noodles did have some spice and a slight kick to it, but I was expecting a little more flavor to entice me into finishing this dish. It literally is just carbs on carbs. I do wish they gave a bit more veggies or tofu...something to break the monotony and to justify the price. I also got their almond milk tea with boba which was another big mistake. The almond milk tea didn't even taste like almond and it was so diluted! To make things worse my drink had so much ice in it lol. I only paid about $3-4 but c'mon...I get the whole maximizing profits thing, but don't dilute the tea and then throw in a bunch of ice into the drink :(. The boba was okay...didn't have much flavor to it, but maybe that's because I'm spoiled by Brew Tea lol. Overall I would not recommend this place. It's decent at best in terms of flavor. The price point isn't that great either. It's a bit high for what you are getting. I also noticed that the Vietnamese sandwiches are going for almost $8 for a large size! That's ridiculous! I'm not sure I would fork over that much money to try it lol. If you are craving for some vegetarian food I would recommend Thailicious! Whew Chile. This is some GOOD vegan food. It's like Vietnamese food mostly but damn it was good and fresh. I had it delivered and everything was still warm and nothing was soggy. It was nicely packaged. The price point is really great too. I am pretty far outside of the city so I was surprised to see this vegan goodness so far out. I've been craving chicken and the buffalo wings really hit the spot. The only thing I regret, is that I wasn't able to eat in the restaurant because I am sure that would have taken it even to the next level. Either way, this was a complete win for Vegas. read more

What a surprise! My sister recently found out that she has to eat more vegan so it's been a struggle finding places that can accommodate her, my kids, and my husband when we all go out to eat as they all have different needs and wants. Enter VeggiEat. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated. It was a Saturday afternoon and there were 6 of us so that was a plus. Especially since we had kids with us. Everything on the menu looked so good, and we were famished so we ordered a whole bunch of items and are family style. We had multiple items - our favorites being the General Tso Cauliflower and the "beef" and broccoli. Both dishes were absolutely perfection. Do yourself a favor and do not pass those dishes up. While I could tell that the substitute meat was fake meat, it still tasted really good! We had two kids with us - there wasn't a kids menu but they had the veggie nuggets and fries and were happy. I really liked the decor here. The staff were also amazing. Everyone was very welcoming and several came by to introduce themselves, welcome us to the restaurant and make recommendations since it was our first time. This is what we had: Started with the pot stickers and buffalo wings. The pot stickers were very good filled with mushrooms, cabbage, bamboo and zucchini. The pot stickers sauce was a perfect pairing. The buffalo wings were super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Unfortunately the buffalo sauce was WAY too spicy to the point it was burning my mouth. I was later told they had teriyaki or ranch as well. For the mains we had the vegetable pho and the sweet and sour chicken. The pho was enormous, plenty for two to share. It was full of cabbage, bok choy, carrots, broccoli and tons of noodles. The sweet and sour chicken was good but not great. The green and red peppers were cut in huge pieces that we had to cut again. The flavor was good though with a sweet tart sauce with pineapples. Overall we really enjoyed our vegan lunch. The menu is mostly Asian based but has a big variety of items including vegan sushi and sandwiches as well as desserts which we were too full to try. Popped by on Meatless Monday to check out Henderson's newest vegan-friendly spot. I've been to their other location on the East side and this one has the same menu but with a strip-mall location (instead of a food court). It's an upgrade in setting without an upgrade in pricing, which I can appreciate. That said, while the menu has a variety of Asian noodle, soup, and sandwich choices with fake meat products, I was a little underwhelmed again. The sauces, like in the chicken curry, are solid, but all of their sandwiches are on bread that is so thick that it is offputting. Bahn mi aren't known for being packed with protein but when 80% of my bite is bread, I'm not a happy camper. The "chicken" they use here is not my favorite, the texture is a bit off, but I do enjoy their "shrimp". It's a great find for vegetarians and vegans but omnivores may not find much to like about this place. read more

Oh my heck: if we had this restaurant in our hometown, we'd go broke eating out! We were in Henderson for a conference and found VeggiEAT in Yelp. Simply put, it is the very best vegan restaurant we have ever been to, period. It sets the bar by which all other restaurants we eat at in the future will be measured. The food ~ trust me, you could bring a non-vegan friend and they'd be delighted. The buffalo wings were so convincing I almost couldn't believe they weren't real chicken. And the shrimp I had in my General Tso's stir fry had the taste and texture down exactly. The service was very attentive and friendly without being smothering. Shout out to Jazmin! I've ordered from this place before and this was my third time. I thought what the heck I really like the food and the tofu sandwich is a fav. It's the tofu sandwich where the review comes into play. I cut the sandwich into three pieces so that I could have it for two days cause that's a lot of bread. And then I had to kind of rearrange the sandwich because it was a SKU and when I did, I found a short white hair at the end of my sandwich and a short white hair in the middle of my sandwich and it tells me that this restaurant has lost my business because they do not have food quality control. They apparently do not wear hair safety nets. I know sometimes even with hairnets things happen, but if there's no quality control in terms of food that you hand out, then what's the point of actually being in business. I will never ever order from this place again. Sad! read more

Still one of my absolute favorite vegan restaurants in Vegas. It's quite off the Strip and looks like a hole in the wall place from the outside, but it's lovely on the inside, and everyone that works there is friendly. But the food... THE FOOD!! There are no words for how good this food is. I've tried many different things on the menu and have never had one I didn't like (though the "chicken" banh mi sandwich is probably my absolute favorite thing I've tried so far). So, the sandwich was cold. I thought a BLT was supposed to emulate crispy protein. The bread was nice, but the meat was just cold lunch meat protein. The wonton soup had a whole tray of extra just egg noodles, which are weird for wonton soup. Why couldn't there be a couple of more wontons and more broth? That being said, the wontons and broth were excellent, including the bok choy plenty and perfectly cooked. Try this place out ! It's new and so good! My partner took me here bc he knows I'm tryna eat healthier and he had come here before with his friends. The staff is super friendly too. It's advertised as a Vietnamese and Chinese vegan and vegetarian place so you'll see dishes like pho and banh mi, veggie fried rice etc. Parking is in a lot so it's super easy. The dishes were averaging around 7-8$ each. I had the eggplant tofu and it was good- not salty at all and super fresh tasting and the portion was actually perfect. I didn't finish it tho and took leftovers home. The tofu was cut up nice and big and the eggplants weren't overcooked. My partner had the walnut shrimp- it was so good - I think it was imitation crab- it looked a little like shrimp lol but it isn't. It was good tho. I ordered brown rice with my dish. How it works: First you find your seat, then order at the front counter and pay for your meal. Then they bring it to you. It's actually super convenient because then you don't have to wait for the check- and can just leave when you're done. I've been here a few times and it's definitely a hit or a miss. I've gotten the tofu sandwich which was pretty disgusting. The sandwich consisted of soggy bread and what felt like raw pieces of tofu. The buffalo wings are good and the spicy lemon grass soup is pretty bomb. The last time I came here I had the potstickers, ,spicy basil tofu, mushroom hand roll, and caterpillar roll. The potstickers had a good stuffing but the skin is too thick and just should be deep fried or just replaced with a different one. The spicy basil tofu had a good flavor but the tofu needs more texture. The rice on both rolls was stale and should have been used for fried rice, not sushi. I probably won't be back but the owners need to get back into the restaurant and put some love back into the food. read more
