I see a number of positive reviews and I'm happy for that. For me I was just plain disappointed and let down by the quality of service provided and lack of follow up. Granted it was over 30 days since the service (my bad for not reading the small print if there was any) but with my chain frequently falling off and my gears slipping like crazy I thought the guy would be a bit sympathetic and come out for a quick adjustment. (I had rode maybe 5 times at most since the service and the problem was apparent early on). He wouldn't help me without a charge. So be it. Just bad business in my opinion. I'll shop and have my bike tuned elsewhere in the future. read more

He knows what he is doing and had my gears shifting like a clean oiled machine ! He also noticed the brakes were reversed and fixed them too. Not to be the black sheep and I wasn't going to writ a review but after texting Tracy about how disappointed I was he never even got back to me. It's all about moral compass and standing by your work. First of all I take excellent care of my bike. It's hasn't fallen down I'm always cleaning it and I rack it when I'm done. After a basic tune up my bike ride worst than ever. Couldn't get it to shift properly, brakes way to tight rubbing on the tire. Ended getting new pads. Crank arm bolt kept coming loose, rode the bike twice in the second month of the repair because of illness and weather so I asked Tracy to come by and readjust the gears he wouldn't do it without charging me for another tune up. Warranty is only a month. Too bad. You snooze you lose. But come on. Take care of people. I guess with the mandatory shut downs and quarinteens his business is booming. Too bad he didn't stand by his work. Probably would of taken 10 min to adjust the gears. "Remember you need to take care of people on the way up because when you fall no one is going to be there for you." Anyway went to McGhie's and Alex did the best tune up ever. Tracy called within an hour to confirm. There were a couple things that needed adjustment, but he actually checked, adjusted and cleaned the entire bicycle. My bike is working so much better now. Contacted Ryan after multiple failures of building up a frame with SRAM components. He came to my home then determined after calling SRAM that my bottom bracket was incompatible with my Quarq crank. He then took my bike with him to build it orderbthe new bottom bracket and build the bike. After 2 days he delivered it to my work. Great concept. Great service. I had a tune up from Velofix that I wasn't too happy about, got an email to review the service, and after my complaints Tracy called me to see what was going on. He said he wasn't aware that I wasn't satisfied, and must have read the situation wrong, but he prides himself in costumer satisfaction and would want to make it right. We went over the miscommunications and misunderstandings, and he offered me a full service, (breakdown and clean) tune up, one step above what I paid for before. I recently has this company install a stationery bike for me in my home. Charged me $150 with tip. Installed on a Tuesday, by Thursday, issue with the bike. I used the bike twice for 10 minutes each day. The bike has a large disk that is wobbling. Plenty of excuses why this would not be a problem with the bike. I called the manufacturer Sunny Health, and they indicated it would be a problem for bike if the disk is warped and it would interfere with the pre-assembled workings of the front wheel. They were kind enough to send me another disk, free of charge. Sunny Health suggested I ask Velofix to install the new disk for free. LOL. He wants to charge me another $79. I wonder if Velofix understand how this ruins your business. read more
