    Garlic bread!! YUM

I Stumbled on this little restaurant while visiting Venice beach. The food was AMAZING the pizza was the best pizza I've ever had and the pasta was GREAT. The owner and staff were so friendly and kind helping with anything we needed. The seating is lovey, I would come here again and again.

A group of us had dinner before the play our friend wrote. It's a comfy place with foods that are unexpectedly so delicious! The best thing was friendly service by Antonio! We will come back for sure and I even told him I would bring my friends from Japan when they come to visit me!

Kind man behind the counter and food was simple + fresh. Big fan of the garlic bread spread and my friend had a chai that was delicious. Also open on New Years Day. Will come back

This place is a cool hidden gem but not too hidden. The man at the counter is incredibly kind, reassuring that everything is freshly cooked. Such a great experience of good Italian food.

Linguini puttanesca and penne arrabiatta with chicken

We were on our way to our favorite sushi place when we were drawn to the happy sounds of laughter coming from the patio. The smell of garlic and tomato sauce drew us inside and we are so glad we stayed. This unassuming pizza and pasta place is a one-man-show complete with personalized, heartfelt service and delicious filling food. What a fun serendipitous evening! We had the pasta puttanesca - mildly spicy garlic and tomato sauce over linguini noodles with olives, capers, peppers and mushrooms. I opted to skip the anchovies. It was delicious! We took half home for the next day. We also ordered the penne arrabiatta (sp?) with chicken - spicy and slightly creamy tomato sauce that was cooked perfectly. We also took half of that home! Topped off with a bottle of Chianti (it was warm but otherwise delicious and reasonably priced) and we got a bottle of San pelligrino sparkling water. All for under $100 for 2. We felt like we were dining at an Italian trattoria. It seemed like the customers who joined us on the patio were all from out of town. We just moved to the neighborhood and we can see making this our go to date night spot.(also posted this review to google)

It's a family-owned business with great service, delicious taste, and homemade sauces.

This place was a bit tourist trappy. Its a tad bit pricey for an 'order at the front find your own seating' place. The older gentleman that took our order was kind however everything else was mid in all honesty. If youre in the mood for some pizza you can get a better tasting pizza somewhere else for a way better price it was honestly kinda bland, nothing special. Although service wise they were kind it was extremely slow. On a Friday evening they only had one older Hispanic man running the whole kitchen not very packed at all but took 45+ mins for one pizza we ordered. I asked if they can please bring extra sauce and the man said "not sure I will see" and he just never brought it. I asked if they maybe had ranch and he said no. I know they are "authentic italian" but I have been to many Italian places and this isnt an issue so I was a bit disappointed considering they also never brought initial sauce request. Last thing if they offer you glass of wine, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for a whole bottle i'd kindly refuse. Overall was just ok. Giving 3 stars because the man was friendly.

Amazing food! Everything is so fresh and delicious! Lovely ambiance, especially to sit outside. Service is fast and the owner is very kind. Highly recommend!

We requested to not be sandwiched between two other tables and were sat in a nice location. However, we were waiting for a while and no one was coming to take our order. I kept making eye contact with the host booth and they'd look away and they finally they said - "has no one helped you?" And I confirmed. We had a server come and they apologized, took our order and relayed that our server is on his break. We realized happy hour was ending and ordered more when the drinks were dropped off. To get extra condiments, I needed to flag someone after trying to get their attention. Although the food came quickly, no one checked on us the entire visit. We asked the gentleman clearing our plates to bring us the check and we paid on our phone and left. Hearing the server at the table next to us, they asked about allergies, were checking in on how things are going every step of the way, offering dessert and providing way more than the very basic service that we needed to request. I'm honestly shocked that we had this very poor service experience. As for food and drink, the Aperol spritz and cocktail flight was solid. Fries were really great. The vodka rigatoni had a nice kick to it and caesar salad and meatballs were really tasty. As you can see, food was great, and I highly recommend their happy hour. However, the service was just so poor and based on this experience, I'm not too sure that I'd ever dine at Ospi again!

Because they only sell whole 18" pies, you'll want to have family or friends to share in the goodness. While there are a few picnic tables on-site, most people opt for takeout. There is a slight wait if you walk up, but they accept same-day orders over the phone for a specific pick-up time so it's ready when you arrive. Appetizers: Focaccia (sfincione) - 5/10 (GF rating 4/10) Super greasy, like, very. Make sure to ask for extra olive oil on the side, as that does make it better as they do have delicious olive oil. The bread seems like it's also cooked in olive oil, but frankly if they made their bread and had olive oil on the side it would've been much better. The bread itself though, ugh that whole bottom was wet in oil. Super unfortunate. Solid but oily as heck. Rice Croquettes (suppli in Bianco) - 5/10 (GF rating 2/10) Forgettable. Nothing special, no sauce paired with it. They're mediocre. I wouldn't get this again. Mains: Lamb Ragu (malloreddus) - 9/10 (GF rating 7.5/10) Extremely tasty. Pasta was very well cooked, lamb meat was perfect, as goes for the cheese on top and the sauce. Amazing meal. Would've been far better without having the subpar appetizers beforehand. Cheese and pepper pasta (cacio e Pepe) - 5/10 (GF rating 6.5/10) Non meat pastas aren't my thing, so take my rating with a grain of salt, as I would never get this myself. Jam on top was awfully bitter, quite literally inedible. The crouton like things were whatever. The panna cotta itself, as in only the white part, VERY good. Service was fine. Didn't care for the ambiance.
