Calling all martini lovers! This is a must-try if you love martinis, and they have hand stuffed blue cheese olives! Deliciously smooth, perfectly dirty, one that will top your list of best martinis in LA! Came for Happy Hour and sat on the patio and it did not disappoint! The burger was incredible, wedge salad packed with flavor, and I'm still thinking about the dipping sauce for the fries. There is a paid lot in back that was $16 for 4 hours. My fiancé and I went here on Valentine's Day. It was the best dinner we've had in Venice, and it's not even close. Started out with cocktails which were good, what you'd expect. The bread was like seared sourdough slices served with two different amazing butters -- barrate butter and some green one that was delicious. Seriously some of the best bread I've ever had. 10/10. Then we shared a plate of scallops. They cut like butter, we're so flavorful, and the cauliflower sauce & chippings were a great texture addition. 10/10 on these. We both got the bone-out ribeye cooked medium. It came out cooked probably medium rare+ which is what we like anyway. It was truly seared to perfection, cooked consistently throughout. This steak was special. 10/10. The surprising highlight of the meal was probably the fries. I got fries just because I'm a big fry guy. These fries were the best I've ever had. With every bite, they'd simply melt in your mouth. And they weren't wet or greasy at all either, which would normally be the case with melt in your mouth fries. These were cooked to perfection, fresh, and idk how they do it. They were served with beef tallow. She also got the whipped potatoes that were whipped to perfection. I can't use "perfect" enough in this revenue because that's how everything was. She wanted the scalloped potatoes because apparently they're to die for here, but they had sold out. The table next to us verified that the scalloped potatoes are the best they've ever had. We paid $387 which included two cocktails, two glasses of wine, bread, scallops, two ribeyes, fries, and whipped potatoes. The service was nice, very busy and no complaints. The ambiance was very homey but private at the same time. If you're considering a nice dinner locally, you need to go here, I can't recommend it enough. read more

Fantastic food in a cute, rustic farmhouse vibe setting. It's definitely more of a splurge meal, but totally worth it for a special occasion. We decided to share a few things which was totally enough food between my fiance and I. We got the peaches and burrata as a starter which was an off menu special and delicious. Then we shared the 10oz Baseball Steak with the Green Peppercorn sauce, the carrots, and the whipped potatoes for our main meal and it all blended so well together. We just got back from Paris so steak and pepper sauce is the only thing on my mind and this helped satisfy my craving. It was our anniversary dinner so they surprised us with a Butterscotch pot de creme dessert which is amazing as a whole but the homemade vanilla cream on top is to die to for. Our waiter was great at explaining every dish and really hyping everything up for the quality of the ingredients and how it was made. I would say be prepared for a bit of a longer dinner here, they definitely take their time making the food so it was a bit of a wait to get everything out. Stopped in tonight for my first time because I live very close by and heard that this little steakhouse is run by one of the two founders of Petit Trois, which is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. I can confirm this is a really solid and classy steakhouse and a great recommendation for dinner. Parking can be a bit tricky, there isn't a dedicated lot, but you can find street parking on the side streets. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Inside is also designed really well. It has a classy, mid-century modern look to it, and I think it really added to the experience. They have outdoor covered seating, which wasn't being used on a cold December night, but the tables near the full-size bar, as well as the dining room with a cozy roaring fireplace were very full and lovely. I started off my meal with the Baby Beats Salad and loved it. The horseradish goat cheese was especially amazing, my only complaint was that it was a very small portion. For my entrée, I chose the 8 ounce Filet Mignon with a Green Peppercorn Sauce and absolutely loved it. The combination was almost sweet, and something I would highly recommend. We also ordered the Butterscotch Pot de Creme for dessert and that too was a wonderful treat. It was not overly sweet, but had a pleasant, strong vanilla flavor. I would highly recommend this place for a date, or dinner with friends or family. I plan to be back in the future to try more items. read more

He gave us the best seat in house and accommodated us from the moment we arrived to moment we left and checked in on us throughout the night. He even personally reached out to let me know I accidentally left my debit card. He and his staff are highly knowledgeable regarding wine and cuisine- especially steak of course. We tried several different cuts of steak, appetizers, and wines and was impressed with every bite. The chef cooked the steak perfectly medium rare. The sauces were fun to try with different dishes. Amazing food overall. The salmon was honestly one of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The Caesar salad was also incredible, probably the best Caesar I've had in a long time. We ordered the filet mignon, which was good, but nothing particularly special compared to other steakhouses I've been to. The steak was cooked to perfection and honestly tastier than any of the top steakhouses in LA. We paired it with their scalloped potatoes and beef tallow fries, and the steak sauce accompaniments were delicious, elevating every single bite. Do not miss the butterscotch pot de crème. It was absolutely divine and the perfect way to end the meal. The mocktails were also fantastic- creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It's nice to see a place that puts as much thought into their non-alcoholic drinks as their cocktail menu. The service was wonderful throughout our visit. f you're trying to figure out where to celebrate something special, just book the table at Venice Steak House and thank me later. Went for a birthday dinner and immediately loved the vibe. It's giving mountain cabin energy with a little Sopranos edge. Dim lighting, warm wood, cozy but still cool. The kind of place where you settle in and know you're about to eat well. The BLT wedge salad was a 10/10. Super crisp, smoky bacon, perfectly dressed. Not an afterthought salad at all. The Hokkaido scallops were cooked beautifully. Golden on the outside, buttery and tender inside. Maybe slightly heavy on the salt, but still absolutely worth ordering. The Venice steak, medium rare with béarnaise, was cooked perfectly. Warm red center, juicy, flavorful, exactly what you want from a steakhouse. The béarnaise was chef's kiss. Rich, silky, and just elevated the whole thing. Scalloped potatoes had the right amount of cheese and that creamy, comforting texture that makes you keep going back for one more bite. Finished with the olive oil cake and it was actually moist. Light, fragrant, and the perfect ending after a big meal. Ask for Ozzy as your waiter. Amazing service. Super attentive without hovering and really knew the menu. The restaurant manager and staff kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything, which made the whole night feel extra special. Chef Sydney is absolutely killing the game. This is the only real authentic steakhouse on the Westside and they're doing it right. Perfect birthday spot, great date night move, and honestly just a solid excuse to treat yourself. We had dinner here last Sunday night with another couple and thought the food was okay. First off, our server was not that friendly and had a less than stellar personality. The menu is small but we did find things that we liked. One of our friends wanted an Arnold Palmer or an iced tea and our server said, "We're out of iced tea." We wondered if he could have had someone steep hot tea, then add ice, but he didn't suggest that. Otherwise, we enjoyed glasses of Sancerre. We all had the Caesar Salad with romaine hearts, Venice Steakhouse dressing, tons of Reggianao Parmesan, white anchovies, and brioche croutons. The salad was very good. We also had the 12oz West Aged Rib Cap steak that was served with a very dull steak knife making it hard to cut. We had the 10 oz. Prime Sirloin Baseball Steak which was better than the Rib Cap, but still difficult to cut. with another dull knife. The Mary's Chicken with arugula and Dijon mustard jus was good. For sides, we got the Scalloped Potato-Yukon golds with garlic, thyme, and Gruyere cheese. The potatoes were a little thyme heavy. We didn't have dessert but the Butterscotch Pot de Creme would definitely be something I'd order another time. read more

I hate that this level of disappointment even brings me to Yelp, but here we are--$300 later. We had a reservation and were seated 40 minutes late, which already set the tone for the night. The staff attempted to smooth things over with a complimentary glass of prosecco, but honestly, a free drink doesn't make up for wasted time and poor service. Yes, the food was good--but not wait-half-an-hour-past-your-reservation good, and definitely not good enough to compensate for the overcrowded, chaotic atmosphere and consistently terrible service. Everything felt rushed, disorganized, and inattentive, like they were trying to pack in as many people as possible without the staff to support it. For the price point, the experience should have been far better. Good food alone isn't enough when the service and atmosphere are this disappointing. We had to check this place out to see what all the hype was about. The location and overall vibe are definitely cool, and the staff was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. That said, prices are on the higher side, though the portion sizes are decent. What stood out the most was how long it took for our steaks to come out, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Overall, it was cool to try once, but we probably won't be back. Let me first start out by saying the steak is great. (Kind of important for a steakhouse). And the martini I ordered really hit the spot. Also the chicken dish we ordered was terrific. The amazing jus that accompanied the perfectly cooked chicken made me think, hang on the chef must be French-trained or something. And voila, I found he's from Petit Trois. Terrific chicken. So why only 4 stars? Well, I felt like the cheese plate appetizer was less than stellar. I don't know what it was, just missing something, and it came with a bit too much bread. Didn't feel special, even if the actual cheese served were good. And the decor / ambience was perfect. Felt like Venice. A traditional steakhouse but instead of the dark and moody 1920s style interiors, it was Venice. Relaxed and welcoming. Definitely worth going. read more

Venice Steakhouse - My New Monthly Obsession My girlfriend celebrated her 40th birthday at Venice Steakhouse, and afterward we drove all the way from Rancho Cucamonga to Venice Steakhouse--after a long day of work, exhausted and just needing a good vibe. The second we pulled up, the night completely shifted. We were greeted by the valet, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. When we walked inside, the atmosphere was insane--sexy, moody, and giving high-end lounge energy. We walked toward the back and the music immediately hit: the perfect mashup of everything you want to hear to unwind after a long day. We sat by the fireplace and ordered the salmon... and HOLY WOW. I've never had salmon this good--crispy on the outside, perfectly moist on the inside, and bursting with flavor. We also ordered fries, and I ate the entire first order while my friend was on the phone because they were THAT good. We had to order a second round. Same story with the meatballs... so good we ordered them twice. We ended up hanging out until the very end and dancing the night away. The DJ had the vibe right from beginning to end. To the owner: THANK YOU for bringing in a DJ who actually knows how to read a room--the energy was perfect. I'm already planning to bring about 20 of my closest friends for a dinner party here. It's the perfect space to gather beautiful souls and connect. And yes... I'll gladly make the hour-and-a-half drive from Rancho Cucamonga once a month just to experience this again. So excited for a new neighborhood spot! When you first walk in you're immediately hit by how cozy it feels. It's the feeling that you want to come back and be a regular. If you're the couple who likes to sit next to each other instead of across, they even have pillows to separate you from the twosome next to you. The night I was there, everyone was super friendly from the hostess to manager. They are still expanding their bar program, and get their hard liquor license in February '26, so be patient. In the meantime, their wine list is small but hits the main varietals. They have a new happy hour Wednesday through Sunday from 5-6:30 with several menu items half off. This is housed in an old Mexican place. Cute, but seating is tight and awkward, and this is evident with the waitstaff stumbling over each other. Service is not good, too many in a small space, and rather than one person, who might remember that you've asked for water 5 times. Wedge salad, delish. NY steak, overcooked and dry. It's a new restaurant, still working out the kinks, so I am keeping that in mind for our review. The ambiance is very nice; it's comfortable and friendly but the service is still figuring itself out. I can tell that the staff is working hard to get everything right but it's a work in progress as sometimes we felt forgotten. The service was slow and getting our food seemed to take a long time but everything was the correct temperature when it arrived. The Winter Salad was wonderful, my crab cakes (which I chose as an entree) were some of the best I've ever had, and the scalloped potatoes are to die for. My husband thought his steak was a bit bland but, OTOH, my husband is also an excellent cook. All-in-all, we would not hesitate to return to Venice Steakhouse and we look forward to visiting again as they work out their kinks. read more

Food and service excellent. Hilariously they are connected to the restaurant design team from Owa, and both places have literally the worst bar seats I've sat in. Owa's are tiny and ejector-like, and Venice Steakhouse's are super comfortable but nailed to the floor and only fit someone who is under 180 lbs. Management says they are going to fix the bar seats so I can't wait to come back after that. read more

Either brush up those resumes or create a second menu to serve locals steak and eggs for breakfast. i recommend you open 7am to 1pm and serve a reasonably priced meal for $20. Venice, the heart of Venice where this steakhouse is located will not support a high-priced suit and tie establishment that wants to charge $100 for a cut of meat and $45 for a side dish (including a salad). the night prices are not made for Venice, but i wish you all the best of luck, not for me. read more

Venice Steakhouse is an incredible new local spot with Amazing food and service. The restaurant has lovely rustic atmosphere and very vibey interior. Originally we came on NYE and one of our dishes was incorrect. The GM invited us back and they made it up to us, delivering a 10/10 meal for our second visit. Truly went above and beyond.
