    Crispy Rice Roll appetizer

Beautiful restaurant. Hidden gem that is tucked away off the sidewalk we found one night on our way to a concert at The Greek Theater. It's a steak house but they had everything, Happy hour M-Th has lobster rolls - a cold and a hot one, the hot one was delicious (Connecticut) and a great value for $18-20. Sea bass was good but the lobster roll was our favorite. The spicy tuna crispy rice roll was delicious, and the crème brûlée was fantastic. Tons of non fish items, definitely something for everyone. Great ambience, good service. We will definitely visit again with our next concert. Highly recommend making this your new spot.

I ordered the edamame salad, among other things, and you would think from the name it's a small Asian style side salad; but, this salad is the most beautifully made, both by design and execution, and robust salad I think I've ever had. Not sure if it's technically vegan, but with no cheese or meat, it's not a traditionally satisfying salad, but it absolutely was. With the table bread, it's easily a meal on its own. Anyway, enough on the salad The service is fantastic, and thorough, and the menu is varied and much more than it appears to be. Every item is delicious, sizable, and far more complex than the menu suggests. I don't want this place to get too popular, but I know everyone has a bottom line. I hope people start appreciating Alley Steakhouse. The only thing that's missing is an elevated take on a vegan steak from Besties (Vegan Paradise) down the street . As a vegetarian, I have many meat eating friends, and we all deserve to be happy when dining out. With its beautiful ambience, and kind, yet professional servers, Alley Steakhouse is almost perfect.

    Creme brulee and cheesecake

Went for a team dinner and tried almost everything. Their steak was probably my favorite item - it was fatty, juicy, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Their creme brulee was incredible paired with any of their cocktails. It's the perfect place for a date night or outing with friends.

Relatively new place and great for groups. The space is open with an intimate feel and warm vibe. A pretty eclectic menu with some pastas and steaks and a few Asian inspired dishes. I like that you a customize your pastas here with type of noodles and sauce. I ended up doing a seafood pasta with their red sauce and it came out tasty. We got a few appetizers too and they are good to share. The Calamari and Mac and cheese were some of our favorites. Good and standard service.

We had such a wonderful experience here! We came with a large group, and the staff handled everything beautifully. The service was attentive, friendly, and incredibly organized even with a big party. Everyone felt taken care of, and nothing ever felt rushed or forgotten. The food was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a hit at the table. On top of that, the atmosphere made it a really fun and memorable night for all of us. Thank you for making our group night out so easy, enjoyable, and delicious. We will definitely be back

My friends and family love this place! Been multiple times and the food and service is 10/10! Recently had my birthday here and it was the best experience! Martin and the staff were amazing and so attentive!

The stunning dining room and bar.

I had the ribeye and my partner had the cheesesteak off the happy hour menu. Both were incredible. Loved that they had such good options at both high and low price-points. The happy hour menu was a legit great deal and happy hour seems to be dinner hours Monday to Thursday. The service was impeccable and everyone was so nice, but maybe my favorite part was the architecture. Holy **** is this a beautiful dining room. A-Plus. Will be back.

16oz Lobster Tail with veggies and mashed potatoes.

Wow... what a hidden gem!! Met with some friends for drinks at Bar One across the alleyway and decided to grab dinner at the steakhouse afterwards (so glad I did). The ambiance was very chic and relaxed. The booths are comfortable and clean. I personally think the music and lighting are perfect for a private meal with a date or your significant other. They have a wide selection of wines and an interesting menu filled with a decent amount of creative options that look like something out of the Iron Chef! Decided to go all in on a 16oz ENOURMOUS lobster tail. I'm pretty picky about my seafood and I have to say this was THE BEST lobster tail I've had in years. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was amazing! (My glass of water never fell below half) I even ran into the owner, and he asked me about my experience and gave me a handshake on the way out... great guy. Definitely coming back to try out more things on the menu. If you're in the Silverlake area and are craving high-quality food and drinks... this is the spot... plus the bar across the hall is the perfect transition to extend the night!

Do yourself a favor and don't come here. I highly recommend the classic LA ambience at other close by establishments such as The Oaks on Bronson, the Alley in Silverlake or The Cara on Western instead. This place is like a bad Ryan Murphy series. It takes itself way too seriously. I've given them over 4 chances to change my mind since I live around the corner, and they never cease to amaze me when it comes to their entitled snotty staff & overpriced alcohol plus the parking is absolutely impossible! I even had to help customers break out of the parking lot one evening because the gate closes at a particular hour, and the restaurant doesn't even bother to tell you the gates shut at a particular time way before the restaurant closes. you're on your own, good luck getting your car out! avoid this place like the plague. I wish I could get back to $500. I've spent here over the past two years.

They only have a hose A/C in the corner that didn't do much to cool the place down. The food though was amazing! As 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan, we had never seen such an extensive plant based option with not only vegan cheeses but meat substitutes with protein! No wonder they have been ranked #1 for multiple years. The starter bread came in a brown bag and was soft and delicious, especially with the house pesto. You could really taste the basil but it didnt feel too oily. We got the calamari because none of us have ever seen a vegan one on a menu! It was breaded and fried and had a squishy center made of pea protein that I guess simulates the real one? It came with a marinara dipping sauce. I could obly have a few because they were fried and I felt like they were a bit too salty Next the pastas came out - the Pistachio pesto and the fusili with sausage. Both were delicious. The pesto sauce was the same one we had with the bread but the pasta had Pistachio chunks in it as well and generous amounts of pesto. The sausage was chewy and the sauce must've had either the same seasoning or chunks of it blended in because you could taste the same flavor in that as well! We had hopes of trying dessert but these 3 dishes were a perfect size for our party and we had been starving ourselves for most of the day for this (probably due to all the protein included in a usually carb only meal). The service was prompt, dishes came out quickly, and water was always filled. I am looking forward to returning to try all the other dishes!

I come here quite often as I live down the street. One morning, I am greeted by a white man with dark brown hair and if I remember clearly a mustache. I assume those are old and just for display (even though Ive been here before and its never been like that...and why THREE cookies on display?). So I ask if I can have a muffin instead, he looks at the case, keep in mind there are around 8 muffins in there, and pauses then says "Uhh yeah, you can get a muffin", as if he had to think about it first. Then takes a muffin out of the case. The person behind me in line asks how his day was and he replied in such a mundane manner. I'm just confused why I couldnt get a cookie.
