Ventana Coffee is one of those hidden gems I wish I lived closer to because every visit feels like a little escape. Their espresso is consistently top-tier. Rich, velvety, and full-bodied, with that perfect crema that signals they know exactly what they're doing behind the bar. My cappuccino was a dream, frothy with just the right balance of milk and espresso, allowing the bold, nuanced flavors to shine without veering into bitterness.

My boyfriend's Americano was equally impressive, smooth, refreshing, with a clean, satisfying finish. There's also has a fantastic selection of specialty drinks, and the ones I've tried so far have been absolute winners. Their...

vanilla bean latte, for example, is dangerously crave-worthy. The subtle sweetness of the vanilla enhances the espresso without overpowering it, making it one of those drinks I keep thinking about days later. The space itself is equally delightful. Bright, airy, and filled with plants that give it a tranquil yet lively vibe. The service is prompt, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which only adds to the whole experience. And while you wait for your coffee, it's hard not to be tempted by their adorable retail items. We don't get to Covina often, but Ventana Coffee is always worth the trip.

In a shared plaza with many other stores, but not too hard to find parking. Walking in, you can tell it's a coffee shop mainly to grab and go, or can sit and chat with a friend. I wouldn't say it's a good place to do work here because the tables are quite low and it's mainly bench seating here. It's also amusing that you could tell this place used to be a yogurtland because they blocked off the area where you could walk over to the froyo machine haha. The layout is very much like yogurtland, but I wish they utilize more of the space to do more with this coffee shop. Ordering was easy with the tablet, but it would ask soooo many questions on adjustments. The formatting would be easier if it was all in one page but you'd have to go through each question one by one to process the checkout. So I was debating between the Iced Coffee and the Latte, but ended up going with the Iced Coffee.

My bf also ordered the Americano. Trying out our drinks, WEEWWWW these drinks are soooo strong!! Definitely giving that kick of caffeine in the day and it also tastes great. Definitely well worth for the taste and caffeine effect on me!

I was in the area and was craving for coffee. I found this place because of the nice reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is very spacious with lots of plants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are also selling their own products. I ordered from the special drink menu. Ordering is self served. I ordered Sea salt cream dark, brown sugar latte and Iced lavender Matcha latte. There was only 1 barista working behind the counter. He smiled at every customer as they walked in while he was busy preparing for our orders. Nice services. The drink came out very tasty! It was not watered down. The matcha taste was strong, but yet I can still taste the lavender! I love it. Will come by again for more coffee when I am in the area.

I love trying new coffee shops whenever I can and I'm so happy that I was able to visit here. I tried a hot Rose Latte with soy milk (I can never find places that offer soy as an option!!) and it was incredibly delicious. I'm the type of person that will get hot drinks on a hot day and find them super refreshing. I visited on a weekday around 2pm and the person working was super friendly and helpful. My drink was ready very quickly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed all the beautiful plants that were in the shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This has been my go to spot recently. This place is in a medium size plaza. It is pretty close to a Chuck E Cheese. Parking may be challenging during the weekends but during the weekday mornings parking is great! Staff is very friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. They have 2 self-serve kiosks. I've recently been drinking the Ventana iced coffee and have been adding the sweet cream cold foam for an extra dollar also had the iced vanilla bean latte with the cold foam. Both are VERY GOOD! I also order the cheese croissant and it's was so flakey definitely a must try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is all bench seating there is plenty of room to sit but not ideal for studying or officing with a laptop. There are no tables tops, they have "coffee table" style tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered through the kiosk located by the front register. It was easy and simple to use. Coffee: I ordered the horchata iced latte with oat milk and foam on the top. It was a good coffee. I would come back and order it again. Seating: plus size friendly. It is bench type seating with low tables. Not the most comfortable, but definitely mobility and plus size friendly.

Nice environment to work in. They dont have WiFi, but luckily I had my portable wifi with me. Not exactly comfortable to sit and do homework/work at. They ONE 8ft. table that is occupied by plants and is used for blocking their storage space. Restrooms are available you just have to request it. Serving time is a little bit slow, but they do their best to hand you your drink as soon as possible. The color of this place is pleasing to the eyes. My Butt hurts from sitting on their bench. Their are 2 "tables" spacious enough for a laptop and MAYBE a notebook on the side. The place was busy right after ordering my drink. I had their Ventana which is their take on a Vietnamese drink. My drink was solid. I would only comeback here if I was ordering to go. The place just doesn't have comfortable furniture to be at ease and I'm sure it's by design that they chose this type of furniture.

It's in an unassuming plaza. You wouldn't think there would be a coffee shop in there, but there is! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has benches for seating and some low tables to place your drinks on, but this definitely isn't a study spot. I think it's more of a grab and go or grab and chat spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got an iced large latte. I like that they have the option of a large cup! Most coffee shops only have the standard 16 oz cup for iced lattes, but Ventana Coffee offers 16 oz or 20 oz for iced lattes! The latte didn't wow me, so I wouldn't make the drive especially for Ventana Coffee, but if I were in the area and wanted a coffee, I would stop by. Service was great. Very kind.

I'll start off by saying I love ventana coffee. This is probably one of the greatest hidden gems in the Covina community. Owners are very friendly & always greet every costumer with a smile. Place is cozy and quaint with a variety of plants are a part of their decor. Coffee itself is amazing, I enjoy both the vanilla bean & horchata iced latte. Both of these coffees are the perfect balance of sweet & strong which is my favorite combination of all. If you'd like to add a little more sweetness you could never go wrong with their cold foam which pairs perfectly on both drinks. I have also had their limited time double matcha latte which was perfect as well. The drink comes with matcha cold foam which gives it some sweetness as well. One can order and adjust their drink preference on the self order screens. It's a great accommodation to visualize the drinks and order based on your preference! Overall Ventana is one of my favorites and would recommend it to anyone who would ask!

HIDDEN GEM in Covina , I had no idea there is a local coffee shop in this plaza until my friend took me here. The decor is so chic and cute with quite a few plants. You can order your coffee on the terminal kiosk , super easy and pay with credit card. There are alot of specialty coffee that you can pick up or you can customize your coffee. I ordered the Iced Sea Salt Dark Brown Sugar Latte with oat milk, it was soooooooo good that I came back the next day. It's addicting! Ventana Coffee is also on Doordash if you want delivery/pick up instead. I will definitely come back to try other coffee.

I wanted to try a new coffee spot and I'm so glad I did! Their Thai tea latte is nice and creamy with the perfect blend of tea and spices. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions about their menu. The interior is a small area for sitting with current Christmas decor. This is a great spot if you want to try out some nice drinks.

I don't know if it's true, but the interior reminds me of an old Yogurt shop remodeled.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes inside the cafe is really chill with indie music playing in the background and several plants arranged in the store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Ventana ice coffee is dark and rich in flavor. But not too much where you can't drink anymore. Similar to a Vietnamese coffee. It's something perfect if you want to wake up! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a wall of benches for you to sit on and 7 tables for you to put your drink on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall I will return in the future and support this small business!

Placed an order through yelp. I wasn't greeted as I walked in so I checked the counter and there was no coffee ready. They seemed busy so I grabbed a seat and waited which was fine. 10 minutes go by... 20... finally I'm like I'm hey and come to find out even though I ordered ahead I was supposed to tell them to actually make it when I got there?! Never had that experience before and in that case I'm not really sure what the point of ordering ahead is. I'm not a regular and there was no signage that I saw which definitely would've been helpful. Shop is really cute though and coffee was pleasant. read more

Was looking for a cute cafe around the Covina area and stumbled across this little cafe. I order the sea salt cream dark brown sugar latte. It was pretty good! I also wanted to buy the parallel beans. I asked the servers about it, but they don't seem to know what kind of roast the beans are. I think maybe should be more educated in that. I ended up just looking it up myself which wasn't a big deal but yeah. Anyways would go again, since there aren't many coffee places around the covina area, but I wouldn't buy the beans again. read more

I was craving some Vietnamese coffee and stumbled upon this placed. I asked the barista if the "Ventana Iced Coffee" was the Vietnamese coffee. He said with a smile on his face that it was not, but everyone calls it that. Upon taking a sip, I can see why everyone calls it a Vietnamese coffee. It was sweet, yet has that powerful roasted kick that I was searching for. Highly recommend. It was $6.50 with an upgraded size, 20oz. $5.00 regular size. read more

Ventana coffee.. let's talk about it !! We driver 35 minutes to try this spot, they close early around 3 so we barely made it in time maybe about 8 minutes before closing but the man attending us was super kind and understanding, he still gave us amazing customer service! The aesthetics.. this place is minimalist but cute. It has a ton of plants that are also for sale. They do have seating as well I really loved the ambiance. The coffee.. We ended up getting a drink from their special drinks called the coconut blended expresso with an added shit and when I tell you it was so delicious I can't wait to come back. Overall thoughts.. What a cute specialty coffee shop! I don't drink coffee but my sister enjoyed the horchata latte with oat milk. I had the hibiscus tea (sweetened). The cookies were good too. This place lives up to the hype! The customer service was a positive experience too which is always a plus. This coffee is ELITE. My friend showed me this place when we came to West Covina for Portos. And now it's a must get everytime I go. The sea salt cream dark brown sugar latte is one of the best coffees I've ever had. It's definitely on the sweeter side so if you don't like sweet coffees make sure to make that adjustment. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie which was chewy and had a good balance of flakey salt on top. The inside is super aesthetically pleasing with fresh plants. The building has the foundation of an old yogurtland but the decorations make it almost unrecognizable. If you're in the area, skip starbucks and come straight here! read more

Such a cute little coffee shop cafe! I grew up passing by this shopping center when I was younger, but only recently discovered this spot via Yelp. Currently as of 1/3/21, they are offering takeout only. On this particular Saturday around 1PM, there was only one other party ordering food when we arrived. There is plenty of space inside to allow for adequate distancing though. My friend chose the panini/drink combo for $13.75 and ordered a de pollo panini and house iced coffee. With paninis priced at $10.75 each and some drinks around $4-5, this is not a bad deal! We planned to split the sandwich in half, so I just ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk... I was excited to see that they use Oatly oat milk here, which is one of my personal favorites! Taste: The de pollo panini was pretty good! The bread reminded me somewhat of an old fashioned donut, with a crispy exterior and soft inside. The chicken was very tender and the basil pesto was flavorful without being overly salty. In terms of portion sizes, the panini is a bit on the smaller side, so I would recommend getting a drink depending on your appetite! The panini also came with a small side berry salad with Italian dressing. The dressing was a bit tart, but other than that, it was a nice addition to the meal. In terms of the matcha latte, the matcha flavor could have been a bit more prominent, however, the subtle matcha and sweetness made for a nice refreshing drink. I would love to come back sometime after indoor seating resumes, as it seems like a nice, easy-going environment to study or grab a coffee in. I highly recommend paying this small business a visit if you happen to be nearby! read more

I started coming here once in a while after the onset of COVID-19 modifications. I always enjoying stopping by when I come to the area to run errands for my parents. Easy to order online, they have designated parking for pickup (not that the lot gets full, but it's nice to have a spot directly outside their place). Their caprese panini is very good and I really like their iced latte. I've had the iced coffee once too, it's on the sweet side. I love Ventana! I love the coffee, the plants, the environment, the owners, everything! I've tried their Ventana Iced coffee, espresso coconut ice blended, lavender vanilla latte, strawberry matcha latte, sea salt cream brown sugar latte, etc. I've tried this place MULTIPLE times so you can trust me. ALL of their drinks are SO good and SO worth it. This is one of my all time favorite coffee shops. Closed on Mondays and they open at 9 on weekends. Be mindful of that if you're an early riser. You might just find them closed like I have a couple times! If that's the case, you can also buy a half gallon jug of their Ventana iced coffee so it's ready to drink in your refrigerator! They serve 49th Parallel coffee, which is native to Vancouver, Canada and high quality. They sell bags of the coffee as well as other 49th Parallel items (i.e., cups). They have plants around the shop that are also on sale. I love houseplants so I always enjoy taking a look at their greenery. The owners are always so nice and welcoming! They make great drinks and keep me coming back for more. Check this place out if you haven't already! read more

My BFF and I recently found this spot in Covina. Didn't know they existed and I live so close! My BFF had the coffee and hot tea , and I had the Matcha latte. My BFF enjoyed her hot tea and thought her coffee was okay. The matcha latte was not bad, but it also was not strong enough even though I asked for another scoop of matcha . Just ordered the strawberry matcha with oat milk and cold foam and the sea salt cream dark brown sugar latte with oat milk and cold foam. These drinks were very delicious my husband wished he would have gotten the larger size! We are coffee and matcha lovers and been to many different cafes and i believe we have found our go to spot! The plaza has a lot of parking and the cafe itself is cute and chic with beautiful plants and the service is great. We will definitely be back! read more

The beverages are really amazing. Some of my favorites are the iced Strawberry Matcha Latte, Lavender Matcha Latte, and the Horchata Latte. They have many specialty flavored lattes that you would not commonly find in a typical coffee shop. Their lattes are creamy and smooth. They also have a pastry case next to the cashier with tasty looking treats. I tried the blueberry muffin. Oh boy! It was so good. The blueberry muffin had layers of flavor. Sweetness from the blueberries, and brightness from a lightly tart lemony flavored crumble topping. I come here once in a while when I want to treat myself. Albeit, the price is a little steep. The joy I get from sipping a beverage from here is worth it! read more

Super cute coffee place but their strawberry matcha latte was honestly so disappointing since the strawberry is so overpowering and there's almost no matcha flavor in it. The color of my drink is like a greyish green with strawberry bits on the bottom. I think they're better off with just coffee and not matcha as it doesn't seem like their specialty at all. Great service though, the workers are nice and friendly read more

Wonderful little coffee shop tucked in Covina. The orders are primarily taken digitally through an iPad. Personally, I've found this as a convenience for time rather than waiting for one cashier to take an order. (A commonality at most small coffee shops) I ordered the turmeric ginger honey latte. Wow! It comes with a nice vibrantly colored foam and a customizable sweetness level. Food is fresh and the taste hits all the notes. My favorite has to be the butter chicken, chicken curry, their fresh Naan and the vegetable coconut curry. This is my go to when it comes to buying my spices, lentils and curry paste. My daughter also buys her hair oils here. Balu the owner is such a sweetheart. Always so helpful and willing to explain. I can't say enough about this little gem.

This ice cream artist has taken it up on flavors and has come up with some super delish unique items some that include a little beer in them to make them extra creamy and some non dairy made with coconut milk. You can taste your heart out as every flavor is temping and made of fresh natural ingredients. Definitely one of the best ice cream shops that i have come across and probably I think the best in SoCal. This place makes Handels look like baskin Robbin's and makes others like after and salt & straw look commercialized. Because this guy is crafting the ice cream that he knows the people want and takes ultra pride in his product. A must visit place - located at the end of old town Covina that is also worth a visit to dine at and walk around. I'm coming back for a beer float on their patio and to pick up one of their cool tshirts. They also sell by the pint. This is ice cream heaven at its best!

I am in love with this place to the point where I came back to back. I couldn't stop thinking about the de pollo sandwich and the oozing mozzarella cheese in it with sundried tomatoes, two of my faves combined. Customer service is outstanding and friendly! Very personable! My fattass came in at 10 a.m. wanting a sandwich, their grill wasn't on (they usually turn it on during lunch) but the owner happily turned on the grill for me and made me a early morning sandwich. Sandwiches take about 10-15 mins to make and calling in orders are welcomed. Now to the coffee, I am not a coffee drinker and if I do drink it, I like it with a sh^% load of milk and sweetner with just a splash of coffee. But omg, 49th parallel, is light with a sweet mild taste and not bitter at all. My iced vanilla latte was perfect and so creamy! So happy this awesome place opened so close to work! read more

Ventana is a nice local coffee shop, and is right off Azusa! Always great to see new places show up in West Co! I enjoyed the coffee and it was well priced. It's cool that they took an old yogurt place and updated it to a modern looking chic coffee place. The wifi is fast, and they don't blast music that isn't easy to listen to! I liked the decor, and I liked the options on their menu! It's always a great thing to support local, and I would easily recommend this place to anyone who enjoys coffee or is looking for a change of place to work at. I was able to work here for a few hours without being interrupted, and I just can enjoy myself. They have outlets, and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. This coffee shop is a hidden gem provided that the surrounding businesses and the whole shopping complex is kind of sketchy looking. Once you set foot inside the shop, however, the interior makes you forget what it's like outside. The use of brand colors and the overall merch display reminds you that they thought everything through. Now to the coffee. They use delicious beans of high quality-49th Parallel. Best coffee shop in LA! They have so much variety and choices and flavors. I tried their Ventana Coffee as well as their Sea Salt Dark Brown Sugar Latte and they were both sooo good! The baristas work super hard to make good coffee for the community! Ventana means 'window' in Spanish and there isn't a better name for this coffee shop. It is bright inside with many plants, and has a feel good vibe to it. Pop in and pop out. I usually have their iced lattes, which are totally customizable :D read more
