First time at Ventana and I tried the Ventana iced coffee a lighter version of a Vietnamese iced coffee. It was delicious I highly recommend it Service was quick and simple friendly staff. There's sitting inside for anyone who would like to stay and work or talk with friends.
Shoutout to my college friends that recommended this place. Double matcha is always a great choice. I was in the area and excited to try this place out. I didn't expect it to be tucked away in a plaza. The storefront looks simple and upon entering, it felt homey. It reminded me of a family owned Korean coffee shop. The staff making our order was helpful, kind, and friendly. I ordered on the kiosk and it was quick and easy. The Double Matcha was creamy and perfectly sweet. I ordered the large and it was worth it. The coffee shop has a restroom in the back, which was clean and organized. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Found this place on Doordash. It came in as the #2 most popular coffee shop. This place is in a shopping center, so plenty of parking. Inside is small, clean minimalist decor. There is a bench that wraps along the inside but not a lot of tables. They have kiosks to place your order. We order the Basque Cheesecake in original and matcha along with the Strawberry Morning Bun. The cheesecake ms were deliciously creamy, not too sweet and flavorful. The bun was flaky with hints of strawberry. The coffee is smooth and not bitter. You can customize the sweetness of your drinks. We added the sweet cold foam on the Iced Hazelnut Latte which was our favorite. The Strawberry Matcha has tons of strawberry flavor with sweet matcha flavor, not grassy. It tends to get busy in waves but their service is good
First time trying Ventana Coffee in Covina! I'd say it's more of a grab-and-go coffee spot than somewhere to sit and hang out. You order everything through a tablet, so there isn't much customer service or interaction. I also thought the add-ons were pretty pricey--around $1 for different milk, 50¢ for sugar-free options or syrups, plus extra for other customizations. My double matcha latte with almond milk, sugar-free sweetener, and lavender syrup came out to around $10. The matcha itself was actually really good! I'd give it an 8.5/10. My sister tried one of their espresso drinks and gave hers a 7.5/10. The biggest downside for me was definitely the price. I understand my substitutions add to the cost, but $10 for a standard-sized drink is a little too much for me to come back regularly. As for the atmosphere, there are some wooden seats, but it didn't really feel like a place to study or sit and catch up with friends. The back area had plants, boxes, and other items, so it definitely gave me more of a get your drink and go vibe. Overall, the matcha was delicious, but between the pricing, extra charges, and limited atmosphere, I probably wouldn't return. Worth trying once if you're curious though!
I was in the area and was craving for coffee. I found this place because of the nice reviews. This place is very spacious with lots of plants. They are also selling their own products. I ordered from the special drink menu. Ordering is self served. I ordered Sea salt cream dark, brown sugar latte and Iced lavender Matcha latte. There was only 1 barista working behind the counter. He smiled at every customer as they walked in while he was busy preparing for our orders. Nice services. The drink came out very tasty! It was not watered down. The matcha taste was strong, but yet I can still taste the lavender! I love it. Will come by again for more coffee when I am in the area.
I like this place just do not like ordering on DoorDash the items do not come secure and closed where a dasher can't tamper with your order. Would love if this was changed because 100% of my orders are always through dash because I rarely have tim. I'm always skeptical ordering like this.
Can I give this coffee 10 stars?!! This coffee is hands down the best damn coffee I've ever had locally. If you see this spot open, don't think...just walk in and order at the little kiosks. That part is self serve and super easy to do. I ordered my normal coffee beverage a cold brew and added sweet cold foam for $1 extra. When I tell you the foam changed my life I'm not even kidding! It's so worth it!!!!! This cold foam was so thick it could save your life if you fell down. If you had a leaky faucet at home, just order some cold foam and it'll stop that drip in its tracks. Like this cold foam can save on plastic and help the environment because it's so thick you don't even need a lid! I wish I could upload a video. Just go try it please. So good! It's such an unassuming little coffee spot next to a laundry place and Chuck E. Cheese in a shopping center that doesn't look like anything special. The interior is minimal with slashes of green plants, some of which are for sale. I haven't tried any of the other coffee drinks because I'm a creature of habit so cold brew is all I need. But if you're in the area, check this spot out! If you get to taste this magical brown elixir sent from the heavens with a touch of foam cloud goodness, you'll be so happy you did. Thank Ventana Coffee for making my afternoon the best ever!
This has been my go to spot recently. This place is in a medium size plaza. It is pretty close to a Chuck E Cheese. Parking may be challenging during the weekends but during the weekday mornings parking is great! Staff is very friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. They have 2 self-serve kiosks. I've recently been drinking the Ventana iced coffee and have been adding the sweet cream cold foam for an extra dollar also had the iced vanilla bean latte with the cold foam. Both are VERY GOOD! I also order the cheese croissant and it's was so flakey definitely a must try! Inside is all bench seating there is plenty of room to sit but not ideal for studying or officing with a laptop. There are no tables tops, they have "coffee table" style tables.
Wow! My husband loves trying new coffee and he tries to find ones that offer non coffee drinks for me. This one was an excellent choice for both of us. He had the sea salt cream dark brown sugar iced latte and I had the tumeric ginger honey iced latte. They were both amazing. My husband ordered his drink half sweet and it was perfect because of the sweet cream top. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I ordered through the kiosk located by the front register. It was easy and simple to use. Coffee: I ordered the horchata iced latte with oat milk and foam on the top. It was a good coffee. I would come back and order it again. Seating: plus size friendly. It is bench type seating with low tables. Not the most comfortable, but definitely mobility and plus size friendly.
Cute coffee spot, kinda lowkey but they had a wide menu of specialty drinks and I think some seasonal too. The baristas behind the counter were super friendly which is always appreciated :) They had some pastries as well I tried and were tasty too
Nice environment to work in. They dont have WiFi, but luckily I had my portable wifi with me. Not exactly comfortable to sit and do homework/work at. They ONE 8ft. table that is occupied by plants and is used for blocking their storage space. Restrooms are available you just have to request it. Serving time is a little bit slow, but they do their best to hand you your drink as soon as possible. The color of this place is pleasing to the eyes. My Butt hurts from sitting on their bench. Their are 2 "tables" spacious enough for a laptop and MAYBE a notebook on the side. The place was busy right after ordering my drink. I had their Ventana which is their take on a Vietnamese drink. My drink was solid. I would only comeback here if I was ordering to go. The place just doesn't have comfortable furniture to be at ease and I'm sure it's by design that they chose this type of furniture.
It's in an unassuming plaza. You wouldn't think there would be a coffee shop in there, but there is! The shop has benches for seating and some low tables to place your drinks on, but this definitely isn't a study spot. I think it's more of a grab and go or grab and chat spot. I got an iced large latte. I like that they have the option of a large cup! Most coffee shops only have the standard 16 oz cup for iced lattes, but Ventana Coffee offers 16 oz or 20 oz for iced lattes! The latte didn't wow me, so I wouldn't make the drive especially for Ventana Coffee, but if I were in the area and wanted a coffee, I would stop by. Service was great. Very kind.
I always appreciate the happy, friendly, warm, welcome every time I come in. I also like to support my fellow Koreans!! Woot woot! The cookies have never let me down and I can't get enough of their iced lavender latte breve. Order in advance if you're in a rush it'll be ready typically 5-10 minutes. Currently it's more of an order and go type of deal there's only a bench to sit while waiting for your order so keep that in mind for the time being. read more

Walking into Ventana coffee is like being transported to a different place. The ambiance is warm and welcoming with the lo-fi pouring out of the marshall speaker on the shelf. The ordering process is easy with the iPads provided at the counter, and of course, you can always order in person. They have many delectable beverages to imbibe on besides coffee including slushies and teas. The quality of their drinks are well above average. I have yet to try their food but will definitely come back for more. They are a bit pricey, but in my opinion, it's worth it. read more

If you love lavender and vanilla bean, they make the best lavender vanilla bean lattes. Best quality made coffee! Let's also not forget about the best pair of their yummy melt-in-your-mouth panini with a side salad. This cafe is dog friendly, and the baristas are very generous. Love this cafe, highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

So good! We enjoyed the Sea Salt Cream Dark Brown Sugar Latte and a Strawberry Latte. Strong flavors with delicious thick cold foam cream on the top. Service was easy, order on a tablet, and wait for your name to be called. Nice ambiance, definitely a to-go experience, not set-up to sit and stay. They sell pretty plants which helps with the ambiance. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in ALL of LA county!! That's saying a lot cause there's so many here, but this place is the best! The coffee here is very strong and flavorful, a perfect roast. I usually like a plain oat latte, but their lavender vanilla bean latte and the iced ventana house coffee with sweet cream have me in a chokehold. I also recommend the dark brown sugar sea salt latte and matcha strawberry also! I'm craving a drink from here as I'm writing this...I've been here too many times to count, it just completes my morning to come here! A great start to my day! The people here are also super nice and always working quickly to make you the best drinks ever- highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!! read more

Found this little gem spot through Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were both very impressed with our drinks. My partner loved his earl grey latte and killed it before we left in our car lol My lavender matcha latte was sooo good and different from other matcha lattes I've had in the past. What a cute specialty coffee shop! I don't drink coffee but my sister enjoyed the horchata latte with oat milk. I had the hibiscus tea (sweetened). The cookies were good too. We tried the oatmeal raisin, birthday cake and chocolate chip. Looking forward to trying another tea. A little on the pricy side. For all 5 items it was 25 bucks. I was craving some Vietnamese coffee and stumbled upon this placed. I asked the barista if the "Ventana Iced Coffee" was the Vietnamese coffee. He said with a smile on his face that it was not, but everyone calls it that. Upon taking a sip, I can see why everyone calls it a Vietnamese coffee. It was sweet, yet has that powerful roasted kick that I was searching for. Highly recommend. It was $6.50 with an upgraded size, 20oz. $5.00 regular size. read more

This place lives up to the hype! The customer service was a positive experience too which is always a plus. (Especially during a panoramic) I ordered an iced dirty chai with oat milk and it was absolutely delicious. Each sip was flavorful and the sweetness was not overwhelming. I was very impressed! Ventana coffee.. let's talk about it !! We driver 35 minutes to try this spot, they close early around 3 so we barely made it in time maybe about 8 minutes before closing but the man attending us was super kind and understanding, he still gave us amazing customer service! The aesthetics.. this place is minimalist but cute. It has a ton of plants that are also for sale. They do have seating as well I really loved the ambiance. The coffee.. We ended up getting a drink from their special drinks called the coconut blended expresso with an added shit and when I tell you it was so delicious I can't wait to come back. Overall thoughts.. The drinks they have under special are really unique and I can't wait to come back to try them all!! read more

Such a cute little coffee shop cafe! I grew up passing by this shopping center when I was younger, but only recently discovered this spot via Yelp. Currently as of 1/3/21, they are offering takeout only. On this particular Saturday around 1PM, there was only one other party ordering food when we arrived. There is plenty of space inside to allow for adequate distancing though. My friend chose the panini/drink combo for $13.75 and ordered a de pollo panini and house iced coffee. With paninis priced at $10.75 each and some drinks around $4-5, this is not a bad deal! We planned to split the sandwich in half, so I just ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk... I was excited to see that they use Oatly oat milk here, which is one of my personal favorites! Taste: The de pollo panini was pretty good! The bread reminded me somewhat of an old fashioned donut, with a crispy exterior and soft inside. The chicken was very tender and the basil pesto was flavorful without being overly salty. In terms of portion sizes, the panini is a bit on the smaller side, so I would recommend getting a drink depending on your appetite! The panini also came with a small side berry salad with Italian dressing. The dressing was a bit tart, but other than that, it was a nice addition to the meal. In terms of the matcha latte, the matcha flavor could have been a bit more prominent, however, the subtle matcha and sweetness made for a nice refreshing drink. I would love to come back sometime after indoor seating resumes, as it seems like a nice, easy-going environment to study or grab a coffee in. I highly recommend paying this small business a visit if you happen to be nearby! read more

I started coming here once in a while after the onset of COVID-19 modifications. I always enjoying stopping by when I come to the area to run errands for my parents. Easy to order online, they have designated parking for pickup (not that the lot gets full, but it's nice to have a spot directly outside their place). Their caprese panini is very good and I really like their iced latte. I've had the iced coffee once too, it's on the sweet side. They are located right before the railroad crossing if you're heading from the south (like from the I-10). Chuck E Cheese is also in the same strip mall. read more
This coffee is ELITE. My friend showed me this place when we came to West Covina for Portos. And now it's a must get everytime I go. The sea salt cream dark brown sugar latte is one of the best coffees I've ever had. It's definitely on the sweeter side so if you don't like sweet coffees make sure to make that adjustment. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie which was chewy and had a good balance of flakey salt on top. The inside is super aesthetically pleasing with fresh plants. The building has the foundation of an old yogurtland but the decorations make it almost unrecognizable. If you're in the area, skip starbucks and come straight here! read more

I love Ventana! I love the coffee, the plants, the environment, the owners, everything! I've tried their Ventana Iced coffee, espresso coconut ice blended, lavender vanilla latte, strawberry matcha latte, sea salt cream brown sugar latte, etc. I've tried this place MULTIPLE times so you can trust me. ALL of their drinks are SO good and SO worth it. This is one of my all time favorite coffee shops. Closed on Mondays and they open at 9 on weekends. Be mindful of that if you're an early riser. You might just find them closed like I have a couple times! If that's the case, you can also buy a half gallon jug of their Ventana iced coffee so it's ready to drink in your refrigerator! They serve 49th Parallel coffee, which is native to Vancouver, Canada and high quality. They sell bags of the coffee as well as other 49th Parallel items (i.e., cups). They have plants around the shop that are also on sale. I love houseplants so I always enjoy taking a look at their greenery. The owners are always so nice and welcoming! They make great drinks and keep me coming back for more. Check this place out if you haven't already! read more
