It has been 6 years and we still come here as a family. The coffee itself never misses and it always delicious. I have tried their lattes, the blended coconut espresso, and strawberry matcha. I assume I talked to the owner, he was super sweet and gave me recommendations for drinks when I told him I wanted something iced and milky. I got the brown sugar latte with oat milk and 75% sweetness. I absolutely loved the fact that you can adjust sweetness on your drinks like a boba shop. No other cafes have something like that! It's located in a pretty big shopping center so parking shouldn't be an issue. The inside is nice and minimal. They have plants, drinkware, and coffee for sale. Their coffee tastes great. I have had a few different drinks. Some of my go-to drinks are: Chai Tea Latte, Sea Salt Cream Dark Sugar Latte, Rose Latte, and the Lavender Earl Grey Latte. I love their bagel with avocado spread & cream cheese. They also have a lunch combo with a panini and salad for $16.75. The customer service is great. The drinks are also ready in a short period of time. This coffee shop has lots of room for potential. The area that is decorated like a coffee shop and not a froyo place is quite lovely. It has the potential for an awesome atmosphere for sure. They play good music which is nice to listen and vibe to while you wait for your drinks. Keep in mind that this shop has very minimal seating and does not offer wifi. If you're looking for a shop similar to Peet's, Coffee Bean, and Starbucks (but better drinks) definitely go elsewhere. I typically look for locations that offer seating and internet options as that is more enticing than purchasing a coffee to take back home to enjoy. I make pretty awesome coffee drinks myself and this is definitely a good reason for me to stay home and enjoy my own coffee in my aesthetic glass cups and mugs. More of a quick coffee drive-up and go. Also, there seems to be lots of boxes, tables, and chairs stacked on top of each other which can be knocked over when trying to pass by to get to the restroom. My friend got their sea salt brown sugar latte and I love how the salty flavor compliments the sweet brown sugar. It is a bit pricey, for the two drinks, we spent about $18. Granted, their drinks are available in one size (which were generously sized drinks. Think between a grande and venti for you Starbucks goers). Overall the drinks are great, but it's not really a coffee shop that you'd sit and hang out in. They have benches along a wall, but you wouldn't meet and catch up with someone at this coffee shop. It's more of a grab and go type of situation. We stopped by here on a Thursday morning after finding it on yelp. I was surprised they had five stars, but they totally lived up to the hype. It was located in a shopping center next to a laundromat and smoke shop, so had some sketchy people lingering around, but ample parking. The shop itself was super cute and well decorated. It seemed to have been a yogurt shop prior, but smelled of delicious coffee. The barista/maybe owner answered our questions and offered great recommendations. He even helped us choose our sweetness and hot/cold options. The selections were plentiful and unique! I haven't seen some of these drinks before such as an oreo latte, but they were all carefully curated and well made. The espresso was well tamped and had good flavor and smoothness and the flavors were all delightful. I am from seattle and so consider myself a coffee lover and know a thing or two about espresso. I would say they definitely make good coffee at this location. And they combine flavors to elevate their coffee. Such a find with such great coffee! I was at the Home Depot down the street and needed my morning caffeine fix. After a quick Yelp search, I found Ventana a block away. It's a cute shop in the Chuck E. Cheese/El Pollo Loco plaza, near a Laundromat. It looks like it was a frozen yogurt place in its previous life, and half of the shop is blocked off for storage. There are no seats or tables to hang out in if you are looking for a study, work, or hang out with your friend spot, but there are some benches on the side for you to sit at as you are waiting for your drink. I decided on a Lavender Vanilla Bean Latte with Almond milk and it was so so good! I really enjoyed the espresso they use, and the barista did a really great job on my drink. I also got a Maple Pecan Scone but I wasn't really a fan of it. Initial bite was not great, but after I took it home and warmed it up in the toaster oven for a few minutes, it tasted much better! I like to order ahead because there is usually a pretty good wait time, but it's so worth it because the drinks are made consistently to perfection! Obsessed is an understatement! I absolutely love this place. I am new to the West Covina area and have been on the hunt for a good small business coffee shop. Ventana truly never disappoints. I absolutely love their brown sugar syrup latte with soft top. Their soft top is to die before I believe they make it with condensed milk or something similar in flavor because it is so sweet and creamy and overall just perfection.
