I was in the area and was craving for coffee. I found this place because of the nice reviews. This place is very spacious with lots of plants. They are also selling their own products. I ordered from the special drink menu. Ordering is self served. I ordered Sea salt cream dark, brown sugar latte and Iced lavender Matcha latte. There was only 1 barista working behind the counter. He smiled at every customer as they walked in while he was busy preparing for our orders. Nice services. The drink came out very tasty! It was not watered down. The matcha taste was strong, but yet I can still taste the lavender! I love it. Will come by again for more coffee when I am in the area.
I love trying new coffee shops whenever I can and I'm so happy that I was able to visit here. I tried a hot Rose Latte with soy milk (I can never find places that offer soy as an option!!) and it was incredibly delicious. I'm the type of person that will get hot drinks on a hot day and find them super refreshing. I visited on a weekday around 2pm and the person working was super friendly and helpful. My drink was ready very quickly and I enjoyed all the beautiful plants that were in the shop!
This has been my go to spot recently. This place is in a medium size plaza. It is pretty close to a Chuck E Cheese. Parking may be challenging during the weekends but during the weekday mornings parking is great! Staff is very friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. They have 2 self-serve kiosks. I've recently been drinking the Ventana iced coffee and have been adding the sweet cream cold foam for an extra dollar also had the iced vanilla bean latte with the cold foam. Both are VERY GOOD! I also order the cheese croissant and it's was so flakey definitely a must try! Inside is all bench seating there is plenty of room to sit but not ideal for studying or officing with a laptop. There are no tables tops, they have "coffee table" style tables.
I ordered through the kiosk located by the front register. It was easy and simple to use. Coffee: I ordered the horchata iced latte with oat milk and foam on the top. It was a good coffee. I would come back and order it again. Seating: plus size friendly. It is bench type seating with low tables. Not the most comfortable, but definitely mobility and plus size friendly.
Nice environment to work in. They dont have WiFi, but luckily I had my portable wifi with me. Not exactly comfortable to sit and do homework/work at. They ONE 8ft. table that is occupied by plants and is used for blocking their storage space. Restrooms are available you just have to request it. Serving time is a little bit slow, but they do their best to hand you your drink as soon as possible. The color of this place is pleasing to the eyes. My Butt hurts from sitting on their bench. Their are 2 "tables" spacious enough for a laptop and MAYBE a notebook on the side. The place was busy right after ordering my drink. I had their Ventana which is their take on a Vietnamese drink. My drink was solid. I would only comeback here if I was ordering to go. The place just doesn't have comfortable furniture to be at ease and I'm sure it's by design that they chose this type of furniture.
It's in an unassuming plaza. You wouldn't think there would be a coffee shop in there, but there is! The shop has benches for seating and some low tables to place your drinks on, but this definitely isn't a study spot. I think it's more of a grab and go or grab and chat spot. I got an iced large latte. I like that they have the option of a large cup! Most coffee shops only have the standard 16 oz cup for iced lattes, but Ventana Coffee offers 16 oz or 20 oz for iced lattes! The latte didn't wow me, so I wouldn't make the drive especially for Ventana Coffee, but if I were in the area and wanted a coffee, I would stop by. Service was great. Very kind.
I'll start off by saying I love ventana coffee. This is probably one of the greatest hidden gems in the Covina community. Owners are very friendly & always greet every costumer with a smile. Place is cozy and quaint with a variety of plants are a part of their decor. Coffee itself is amazing, I enjoy both the vanilla bean & horchata iced latte. Both of these coffees are the perfect balance of sweet & strong which is my favorite combination of all. If you'd like to add a little more sweetness you could never go wrong with their cold foam which pairs perfectly on both drinks. I have also had their limited time double matcha latte which was perfect as well. The drink comes with matcha cold foam which gives it some sweetness as well. One can order and adjust their drink preference on the self order screens. It's a great accommodation to visualize the drinks and order based on your preference! Overall Ventana is one of my favorites and would recommend it to anyone who would ask!
HIDDEN GEM in Covina , I had no idea there is a local coffee shop in this plaza until my friend took me here. The decor is so chic and cute with quite a few plants. You can order your coffee on the terminal kiosk , super easy and pay with credit card. There are alot of specialty coffee that you can pick up or you can customize your coffee. I ordered the Iced Sea Salt Dark Brown Sugar Latte with oat milk, it was soooooooo good that I came back the next day. It's addicting! Ventana Coffee is also on Doordash if you want delivery/pick up instead. I will definitely come back to try other coffee.
I wanted to try a new coffee spot and I'm so glad I did! Their Thai tea latte is nice and creamy with the perfect blend of tea and spices. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions about their menu. The interior is a small area for sitting with current Christmas decor. This is a great spot if you want to try out some nice drinks.
This place is so cute! I don't know if it's true, but the interior reminds me of an old Yogurt shop remodeled. The vibes inside the cafe is really chill with indie music playing in the background and several plants arranged in the store. The Ventana ice coffee is dark and rich in flavor. But not too much where you can't drink anymore. Similar to a Vietnamese coffee. It's something perfect if you want to wake up! They have a wall of benches for you to sit on and 7 tables for you to put your drink on. Overall I will return in the future and support this small business!
The iced vanilla bean latte from Ventana is my favorite vanilla latte ever! I'm not positive, but I think they use vanilla bean paste in this instead of syrup, and it's so delicious. The service is always great/fast and the interior is beautiful. read more

Yum! A hidden gem in the area! I've been here multiple times and the it's always amazing. My favorites from there are the lavender latte and the strawberry matcha latte. It's all so delicious and hits the spot for the coffee! The service was great where they have a self order kiosk and they have some seating inside as well. I love all the plants and the decor inside. I'm docking a star because I don't like that we have to place the order on an iPad and no one greeted us when we went in. It just felt cold... there's a warmth to going to a new small coffee shop and ordering with someone. We got a black cold brew and their brown sugar latte(I think salted). This is in our top three for flavor and quality. The cold brew wasn't bitter, it was smooth and flavorful. The latte was just as good. Not overly sweet, you get the coffee, creaminess from milk, and the salted brown sugar. read more

our favorite drink is vanilla bean latte! we always order that :) it tastes like they use homemade vanilla syrup which blends well with their bold espresso. you can see the actual vanilla bean specks in the coffee. this is the best vanilla bean latte i've ever had. i have also tried their strawberry matcha and their brown sugar latte which both are so delicious!! wifi : no parking : plenty study area : no study area, more of a grab and go spot read more
Nice coffee spot in Covina. Easy parking in a strip mall, with two reserved parking for the shop directly in front of the entrance. Order on their two tablets at the register. Liked their Sea Salt Cream Dark Brown Sugar Latte which was solid. They have a lot of customization options but it does make it a bit pricy ($1 more for less ice, $1.50 more for large, and additional for extra shots/foam, etc) I also tried their Nutella Croissant which was great- had more Nutella than most I've had before. They had a nice variety of other coffees and teas as well. read more
Pretty dope to see a Korean owned coffee shop. Super friendly service and I will say these drinks are STRONG. I got a cold brew while the wife got a latte with a few added flavoring. Latte comes with latte art that was beautifully done and the cold brew really packed a punch. A great way to start the morning. I also tried the Nutella nut croissant but thought it was good but also kind of just alright, somewhere in between that. I think the chocolate croissant might've been a better choice. 200th review goes to a coffee shop! Surprise surprise. Love that it used to be a Yogurtland and they kept that layout and put plants towards the back of the store. Walk in and place your order on the tablets! They have tea drinks as well if you don't want coffee. Don't make the same mistake I did and not add espresso to their strawberry drink. I had to ask them to add espresso since I didn't specify on the tablet and they fixed it. Subtly sweet drink to sip on my drive home! :) read more

So yummy! I got a lavender vanilla bean latte with cream top 75% sweetness and it's perfect to me! The lavender isn't too overpowering like many places. Ambiance and staff are nice, pretty cool that it used to be a Yogurtland. Not many good coffee spots in this area so this is such a hidden gem. read more

Ordered a strawberry latte with shot of espresso. Workers were very friendly, they had some semi loud music playing. The drink was very well made and tasted great. I would say this place is pricey compared to some other coffee spots but other than that this is a very good and solid coffee place read more
I got an iced vanilla bean latte and it was delicious very silky taste! I tried the lavender vanilla bean latte a few weeks ago and it was not for me. When you walk in, you can order on the little iPad thing to place your drink order. But if you're paying with cash you order with the worker. The ambiance is more of waiting for your coffee then heading off to your next destination compared to sitting down and doing work. If you're in the area definitely give this place a try! read more

Okay, this place is a gem. I got the iced double espresso with coconut and horchata flavors and a soft sweetened top and it was absolute perfection. The combination is a game-changer! I got the double matcha, (limited time only) and it was delicious. Do keep in mind it was pretty sweet which doesn't bother me, but I know some like more matcha than sweet, so ask for less sugar. Bryan was the best barista ever! He was very kind and asked me how I liked my drink and made sure I enjoyed it. I would go back just on the service alone! Awesome job, VERY aesthetic shop. Ventana coffee is a lowkey coffee shop that serves some dank coffee. The vibes are immaculate and super chill. Just being the shop inhaling the fresh smell of roasted coffee white soft background music just creates a fresh ambiance to help you start your day on a good note. The coffee itself is strong and aromatic and has a nice flavor to it. I got the lavender latte and the lavender complemented the milk so well and it was a great smooth texture. This coffee shop is the closest I've been to that truly feels like a 3rd place. The music is not overbearingly loud, and is a genre of music that is not unpleasant to have in the background even if it's not necessarily your preference. The aromas are light, the lighting even on an overcast day is abundant, and the contrast of colors between the plants, benches, and sea foam tiled counters all complement eachother so nicely. The only downside (perhaps an upside depending on how you look at it) is that there aren't tables for one to lounge and relax here to do work. I'd imagine a lot of that is to preserve the ambiance. Nonetheless, this is still a great place to enjoy a early morning coffee and share an intimate conversation or two. read more

In a shared plaza with many other stores, but not too hard to find parking. Walking in, you can tell it's a coffee shop mainly to grab and go, or can sit and chat with a friend. I wouldn't say it's a good place to do work here because the tables are quite low and it's mainly bench seating here. It's also amusing that you could tell this place used to be a yogurtland because they blocked off the area where you could walk over to the froyo machine haha. The layout is very much like yogurtland, but I wish they utilize more of the space to do more with this coffee shop. Ordering was easy with the tablet, but it would ask soooo many questions on adjustments. The formatting would be easier if it was all in one page but you'd have to go through each question one by one to process the checkout. So I was debating between the Iced Coffee and the Latte, but ended up going with the Iced Coffee. My bf also ordered the Americano. Trying out our drinks, WEEWWWW these drinks are soooo strong!! Definitely giving that kick of caffeine in the day and it also tastes great. Definitely well worth for the taste and caffeine effect on me! read more

My cappuccino was a dream, frothy with just the right balance of milk and espresso, allowing the bold, nuanced flavors to shine without veering into bitterness. My boyfriend's Americano was equally impressive, smooth, refreshing, with a clean, satisfying finish. There's also has a fantastic selection of specialty drinks, and the ones I've tried so far have been absolute winners. Their vanilla bean latte, for example, is dangerously crave-worthy. The subtle sweetness of the vanilla enhances the espresso without overpowering it, making it one of those drinks I keep thinking about days later. The space itself is equally delightful. Bright, airy, and filled with plants that give it a tranquil yet lively vibe. The service is prompt, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which only adds to the whole experience. And while you wait for your coffee, it's hard not to be tempted by their adorable retail items. We don't get to Covina often, but Ventana Coffee is always worth the trip. read more

Hidden gem in Covina. Coffee spot has a long benches to sit while you wait for your drinks. No tables inside the coffee shop but they do sell food. I got an iced latte that was delicious. It was pretty busy when we arrived but we didn't wait long. The two workers were friendly. The inside of the shop is very clean and they have lots of plants. They have two iPads you can order on if you're paying with card or you can order with a worker. A variety of flavors and milks. They Definitely recommend trying this place. read more

The strawberry matcha is delicious! I got this half sweet but I would even go for 25% sweet because I thought half sweet was too sweet. Other than that, the strawberry puree was fresh, and great compliment to the matcha. You can also choose your choice of milk, and the barista was super sweet! read more

Wow, how come I never stopped by here!!!!?? So happened to be doing laundry and this was next door and needed a picked me upper Walked by and nobody was in there... Apparently everyone started showing up after I came in. LOL The Turmeric Ginger Honey Iced Latte is an absolute game-changer! This drink is earthy warmth of turmeric and ginger a sweetness of honey, creating a unique, refreshing taste. The turmeric adds a subtle golden hue, and the ginger gives it that extra zing, making it a bold yet smooth iced latte. The honey complements it! Definitely a must-try! My new go to now! read more
Came here wondering what all the 5 star reviews were abt. The workers here are the nicest people ever. I assume I talked to the owner, he was super sweet and gave me recommendations for drinks when I told him I wanted something iced and milky. I got the brown sugar latte with oat milk and 75% sweetness. I absolutely loved the fact that you can adjust sweetness on your drinks like a boba shop. No other cafes have something like that! The croissant was super flaky and buttery which was amazing! Ordering is all on a tablet and also seating is a little limited if you are going there to study or work. A new favorite coffee shop. Love the chill vibes with lots of spacious seating inside and welcoming plants for sale. Appreciate the aesthetic that is vibrant and homey. Staff are friendly to greet you and quick to get out your delicious drinks. We enjoyed our almond milk lattes with vanilla. Coffee was excellent, yummy, refreshing, and woke me up with sustained energy throughout the day. I always pass by this place but had never gotten around to trying it. The interior is so cute with all the little plants they have. The owner helped me out and was such a sweet man. I ordered the Iced Strawberry Latte with Espresso and it might've been the best coffee I've ever had, maybe in the top 5. It was sweet but not overwhelming, and the flavor of the fruit and espresso complimented each other well. Can't wait to come back! read more

Ventana coffee is a small local coffee shop. The ambiance is pretty laid back. They have seats there so you can have a cup of coffee with a friend. It's located in a pretty big shopping center so parking shouldn't be an issue. When you order they have new machines so everything is self service orders you don't have cashiers taking your order so be aware of that The overall quality is definitely up there no complaints The price point is kind of high for what your getting to be honest but overall not a bad experience read more

I found this place a few years ago during the pandemic. I remember being grateful for them selling milk because it was that period where certain items were difficult to find at the grocery store. The inside is nice and minimal. They have plants, drinkware, and coffee for sale. Their coffee tastes great. I have had a few different drinks. Some of my go-to drinks are: Chai Tea Latte, Sea Salt Cream Dark Sugar Latte, Rose Latte, and the Lavender Earl Grey Latte. I love their bagel with avocado spread & cream cheese. They also have a lunch combo with a panini and salad for $16.75. The customer service is great. The drinks are also ready in a short period of time. They have a couple of to-go parking spaces in front. They're located in a large shopping center, where there's usually plenty of parking available. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

#26 in my SOCAL COFFEE SHOP SERIES A small, quaint, yogurt shop turned coffee shop in Covina! They have a variety of seasonal drinks as well as all your classic coffee needs. I decided to get the sea salt cream dark brown sugar latte and it was super tasty! The drink is definitely on the sweeter side, so shy away if you like your drinks less sweet. As for the inside, there are no tables, just a long bench to sit on. In addition, they have no wifi:( Not a place I would go to again since I can't work in it, but still a good grab and go coffee shop! read more
