Carbonara Pasta, We split the entree in half, this was my half. Def recommend to do so w/ an individual Pizza.

Service was great, the Bartender was friendly and steered us away from ordering way too much food and navigated the menu to what's best for us. Very customer friendly, you don't get that from everyone! The Pizza slapped!! As others have said haha. The pasta was REALLY great too-- despite what was said. Again, be friendly and ask for their opinions! This is Puerto Rico and they'd tell it like it is! Drinks were nice and strong as well-- granted I ordered drinks that skew that way-- like an old fashion. Def recommend for your Italian fix! This is coming from a New Yorker. :P

Solid choice for a nice meal. Vibe is laid back but still classy. The large pizza is huge! And very good. Mediterranean salad with chicken was tasty. The told the lasagna was decent too.

    Margherita pizza

My fiancé and I were looking for a last minute place for dinner and something to break up the Puerto Rican food we had been eating for a few days. We got the Margherita pizza and focaccia bread. The bread was addicting, and the pizza did the job. The restaurant is connected to what appears to be not the best hotel, but our experience was fine enough. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again, but it was exactly what we needed in the moment.

We were needing a pizza and wanted a crispy one. This restaurant is in a hotel (verdanza) and they will let you park for free if you eat. The pizza had great die and crust. The meats were delicious. We added caramelized onions. The Caesar salad was plenty for 2 and small pizza was plenty for 2 . The tomato jam in the salad was good and we ate it with the toasted bread. The dressing was real homemade Caesar. Other Italian items looked very good . Service was good and drinks were reasonable.

    New York Pizza & Focaccia

Coming from NJ, we love our pizza! Me & my husband had focaccia bread as an appetizer, which was so nice & crispy (not typical focaccia but was incredible), then carbonara & New York pizza. Both were very good & nasty. We also really enjoyed our drinks! Service was quick & great!

After a few days of eating lots of Puerto Rican cuisine we were in the mood for some Italian food and pizza. After reading all the reviews on Yelp for pizza places near our Airbnb, Verace caught our attention and it was four blocks away. We ordered a Caesar salad that was more than enough for the four of us and we each ordered a small pizza. Well their small pizza was enough for two people to share so needless to say we took home leftovers. The crust was perfectly cooked in their wood burning oven and the sauce and toppings were on point. Our server was very attentive and made some very good suggestions. The arugula and prosciutto was good as was the artichoke, olive, mushroom and ham. My cousin ordered their spicy special and yes it was very spicy. We all took home lunch for the next day but my wife had her leftovers for breakfast. Good place I'd go back to try their other offerings.

Came here for dinner to have a night of non Spanish food. I ordered the pizza and so did my friend. And his company ordered the steak with chimichurri sauce and fries. My significant other ordered the chicken Parmesan dish. We all shared the calamari and truffle fries. I must say the fries were crunchy but I didn't taste any truffle. The calamari was way too chewy for me. As far as the pizza goes, it took almost an hour to come, after my boyfriend and friend finished their food. I had asked for pepperoni and truffle on my pizza and I didn't taste the truffle on it either. My friend enjoyed her steak and her boyfriend enjoyed his cheese pizza. My boyfriend wasn't crazy about the chicken Parmesan, the pasta itself had good flavor though. Definitely not somewhere I'd try again as there is so many other food options out there. Totally let down after seeing such good reviews.

Great brick oven pizza and atmosphere. It is located in the Verdanza hotel but operates separately.

We ordered a bottle of Fiano (a wine we really enjoy and was on the menu). They didn't have it. We settled for Chardonnay. It was good. We asked for bread. They didn't have any!!! (What? An Italian restaurant with no bread?) not a great start. Having said all that, the rest for our food was amazing! The arancini and the eggplant were exquisite. I ordered the steak (yeah I know) but it was amazing. The sauce, the potatoes. Just delicious. Our guests had the lasagna and my husband ordered the pizza. They were very satisfied with their meals. The ambiance is quaint. Old Italian. Clean. I would train servers to know what's available and what's not. Prevent from ordering and being disappointed. In addition, if you don't have bread and make pizza, you have bread. You can make it out of pizza dough in a pinch for those who ask. Italian red sauce without bread... it's a big miss. If your equipment is broken, buy the bread. I think they should have given us the dessert based on the misses. Nonetheless, the entrees were very good.

The presentation of the dipping oil/vinegar was pretty, delicious and fun to play with. Now this pasta.... let me tell you... phenomenal!!! I ordered the ravioli d'anatra because I love duck and this blew me AWAY. The taste of the savory and salty of the duck melting into the tangy sweet of the pear and port wine reduction was something I could've never expected. Plus, the ravioli squares were browned hard and perfect and topped with a succulent dollop of truffle butter. The sweet port wine reduction elevated the savoriness of the pasta and really went well with the crunch at the end, which rounded out the bite. 20/10!! My cocktail was also delicious and perfectly balanced! Genuinely can't wait to come back here.

My mother and I were in Puerto Rico for a week helping with hurricane relief. We worked our butts…read moreoff every day and rarely had time to grab anything besides the typical PR fare, pinchos, bbq etc. One night we happened to finish early and decided we would find a nice place to eat. We were staying right in Isla Verde so we parked on IV Drive and just started walking, stopping here and there to glance at menus. So as we walk past this restaurant there was this gentleman outside who was gently trying to coax is to come in side all the while saying "mucho Buena!!"... Which I knew meant something like, really good lol. I loved this guy... He didn't really speak much English but his personality was infectious...I asked for a menu and one of the owners came over with one. We got to talking about why we were in PR and some of the places we've been delivering supplies to and he was so appreciative of what we were doing for his island. Having made new friends, he escorted us into his restaurant and introduced us to the other owner. They made sure that we were well taken care of and treated us like family! The waitress was very attentive and helped make recommendations. My mother and I both decided on the shrimp risotto, with one calamari appetizer to share. First of all, they bring you this hot bread with a dip that tastes of oil and balsamic with herbs... OMG so yummy that I asked for more. The calamari appetizer was delicious and enough for two. Now comes the risotto... This was my first time having risotto, but I watch alot of Chef Gordon Ramsey lol.... But this risotto was Devine. Absolutely loved it! We didn't have dessert but the selections were very tempting. I don't drink wine but they do offer wine as well as beer. I highly highly recommend this place if you are in PR!! Thank you again to the owners for your hospitality. I will be back soon!!! Puerto Rico se levanta!!!!
