I was able to get in the same day and didn't have to worry about making reservations several days in advance. A one hour full body massage was $100 for both of us and we would gladly pay it again. Received one of the best massages I ever had from Yani. I decided I wanted a massage on a whim and was in the neighborhood so stopped here for the first time. Luckily I was able to get right in without an appointment. I asked for firm pressure and Yani did an excellent job. It's rare that a massage therapist knows when to be firm and when to let up without asking, but Yani was spot on. This is the second time I came in for a prenatal massage and both times I was very satisfied with my visit. She was so good that my baby was moving and kicking while she found all the knots in my back and neck. Also my boyfriend came in both times with me as well and he also loved both visits. He has knots everywhere in his back and neck and she was able to get them all out plus the one that he never knew existed. They've been very sweet and have very great customer service. The last 2 massages I received I was disappointed with due to the person giving the massage answering the phone to schedule appointments during my paid massage time. I understand she is the owner of the business however, I don't think it is appropriate to answer the phone and schedule appointments during someone else's paid massage time. It was very distracting and results in me not wanting to return. They are very nice people however, lack customer service skills. I suggest they hire a receptionist and/or have someone else who is dedicated to taking calls and appointment scheduling during business hours. Thank you. read more

I wanted to treat myself to a massage for my birthday. (The last massage I had was at a pricey "oasis" after lying in a pile of wood chips. Interesting, but turned out to not be my cup of tea.) I always turn to Yelp to get the skinny on local establishments and decided to give Verdure a try. The massage room was super clean, down to the carpet. The towels were soft and fluffy and smelled nice. The lighting was kept at comfortable, low level. The volume of the music was just right. As for the actual massage -- My body is a little stressed from lugging around a 28 pound toddler, among other factors, but I didn't realize just how stressed until the massage. When Anna got to my lower back, holy bejeezus, it was tender! And it felt so good to have someone work on those muscles. (Anna recommended focusing on my shoulder and lower back next time.) It was seriously the best massage I've ever had. I definitely recommend Verdure Massage Spa. read more

This place was awesome! Let's face it, we're all a little skeptical when we walk up to the massage place with curtains drawn and a neon open sign flashing in the window. I had that feeling here of course because I've never been here but it happened to be on my way home from work and I needed to kill time while traffic die down so I called ahead and they had an availability. I just wanted a brief foot massage for cheap and asked about their prices, the lady up front spoke English very well and was very helpful. I was able to head right over after work and they brought me right back into my own private room which I don't usually get at these kinds of places. Everybody was super nice and the massage was fantastic! The scalp massage was divine and it ended up being a full body massage even though they just call it a foot massage... When I came out of the room and the lady was patiently waiting. I think next time I might actually go for a full body because if they did this good on a foot massage their full body is probably the bomb diggity! read more

I don't usually give a review but this one worth it. My husband and I booked for 90 minutes sports massage and we have an excellent experience. We workout a lot. So our muscles are nagging for attention a therapy of some sort. Massage therapist loosen up those really tight muscles. I slept good that night . Definitely worth it. Verdure waaaaay exceeded our expectations! My husband and I found ourselves kid-free for the afternoon and spontaneously decided to get a couples massage. We were excited to get in for a same day appointment and hoped it would be good enough to get some knots out. This was more than just "good enough", our experience was excellent. My husband was in need of a deep tissue massage and was really impressed with how intense and how effective his massage was. I was surprised to have the hot stone and warm towels included in my massage. And by the way, this was one of the best hot stone massages I've ever had. Unlike other places that just go through the motions, it was really obvious that these women knew what they were doing and were responding to each of our personal needs. I hold a lot of tension in my upper back, neck and head, and my massage therapist intuitively worked on those areas in a gentle but firm way. LOVED this place! We were on our way home from Lake Tahoe and in dire need of a massage. We live in Elk Grove and have a couple of places we go to regularly but decided we couldn't wait that long - we needed something now. So we stopped in Folsom and yelped a few places. Every place we called was either completely booked or couldn't take us in right away. But then we called Verdure. I asked for two full body massages and they asked how soon we wanted to come in. I told them we could be there in five minutes. Sure, they said, come anytime. Really? Why aren't they super busy like the other places? Are they just so new no one knows about them yet? Does it mean they aren't good? No, it just meant we scored! Verdure Massage is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. Anna gave me one of the best massages I've ever had and my husband loved his session with Yani so much he said he is willing to drive all the way to Folsom to see her again. I've been to many massage/reflexology places in Folsom and by far this was my favorite. Not only is the facility VERY clean but they are very Consciousness of their customers. I was asked if the room temperature was to cool/ warm, if the pressure was too much/too little and we're very quiet about their movements in the room. Some places are in a large room with multiple customers who snore or the masseuse is talking to another masseuse and are very loud on their feet or transitioning from one part of the body to the next. This is NOT the case here. Anna was wanting to give me the best massage as it's not just a job to her but she really enjoys making sure her customers have a great experience and leave relaxed. They offer hot stones and hot oil at no extra charge. They ask what type of massage you like ahead of time, areas of concern and go the extra mile. My foot massage had an exfoliating sea salt of some type that was very relaxing and all included in the price. No add on, no extra fees. Something I have not gotten at other facilities. Anna speaks English well although she said it was broken...but what I liked is I could tell her what I wanted and she understood and not just nod and continue doing what I didn't want done. I HIGHLY recommend you give them a try. Clean linens upon arrival and the cleanliness shows just by walking in the door. I don't want to lay on the same blankets and towels from the person before me and this I have experienced in another facility in Folsom. Top notch. You won't be disappointed. read more

I had a neck pain while in Folsom for a conference. I thought I would try this place based on reviews. I saw Janie. She did work on my neck and whole body for an hour. The next day my neck was better but not right yet. I went back for a second treatment and told her I needed something more. Her pressure was 2x what it was the night before. She did back walking, and pressed trigger points....sometimes to the point of aweful pain. But, when the session was over, my neck felt normal. Amazing! Yes, I will be back. read more
