I went with yelp reviews and chose Verdure. Yani did a very good massage first time (4 stars for that) I called to schedule another massage after 2-3 weeks and she said she has time at 1 pm. I came at 1 pm, and she said "Oh I scheduled you at 2 pm" I said "No, you did not, you said at 1 pm" And she said "Sorry, can you come at 2pm" I remember well that she said at 1 pm, and even my husband said he remembers that she said at 1 pm because I repeated after her and later told my husband that I will be late for the US open finals that day that started at 1 pm. So, anyways I did not have massage that day and now I need to find new spa as I do not like people wasting my time and trying to put it on me. read more

Injured my back after a loooong week of driving. My left buttocks was in so much pain, could not get in and out of a chair. I searched Yelp, found Verdure and called 12:45p today. At 1:05p I walked in and by 1:10p Yani was doing her work. She is very strong and I need hard pressure and she was professional, thorough and attentive. She used her forearm and knee to work out that major kink in my left buttock area/low back. I felt so much better. I liked the warm towels on my body towards the ends and some of the final stretches (in which my back cracked so loud but in a good way) were nice finishing touches. I have had a stiff neck for a couple of weeks so I decided to head to Verdure. This is definitely a professional massage parlor and not some seedy joint. I believe my masseuse is the owner (not sure) and she worked hard on my problem areas. I am not a deep tissue guy (I like less pressure) and, to her credit, she kept checking to see if the pressure was ok. I felt that she did well. The only real issues I had were that she often had to answer the phone and she sometimes left the door open a bit. This led to breaks in my massage. She may be the only one who answers the phone and, if so, maybe they should hire someone to do that task. Although I was always covered, the door being left open still made me uncomfortable. This place is clean quiet and relaxing. I didnt know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I needed a last minute appointment for a massage. I was able to get in right a way. The staff was friendly and the massage was good. I had COCO she didn't do any detailed pr focused work in my problem areas. She was able to take the edge off using broad pressure. They do real shistu combined with body massage, so make sure to speak up if you dont like direct pressure. This is a great choice if you want a guick refresher or to relax. They were able to get us in for a 60 min massage later that evening which was great. Prices are pretty good compared to other places. Anna massaged me, while Yanni massaged my boyfriend. So happy to find this little gem. I wanted to treat my mom to a day after Christmas massage. She worked so hard. I called the location a few minutes before opening and we were able to get a fairly quick appointment. We arrived and we were placed in a 2 person room. (The front desk asked ahead if this was acceptable) We each had a 60 minute full body massage. I had Jenny she was great. She was thorough and efficient and had a great intuitive touch. I've been exploring the world for day spas/massages lately and I am so happy I came across this place! I love the atmosphere. The front lobby has a sophisticated feel to it; it was very clean, tidy, and smelt nice. My masseuse was Anna and she was wonderful. I made an appointment was they were able to get me in on the very same day a couple hours after I called for an appointment. Anna was down to earth, friendly, and polite. She speaks English decently well so I was able to communicate with her effectively. She caters to your problem areas and asks what pressure level you want before she starts (light/medium/hard). She was surprisingly strong and I had to ask for a lighter hand. Their massaging beds come heated which makes the experience a lot more relaxing and comfortable. The music was very relaxing and of great taste. Overall, a great getaway from your busy lives. Definitely my go-to place from now on. Thanks Anna! read more

I've been to Verdure several times now, and I quickly settled on Yani as my masseuse of choice. She is, in a word, amazing. She's also funny, kind, sincere, and *very* good at what she does. Pressure is always perfect, she takes her time (never in a rush) and I always leave relaxed, refreshed, and just plain feeling good! The place is spotlessly clean, rooms are the perfect temperature, private (for both body and foot massages), and they never cut you short on time. I just got back from an hour and a half massage with Anna. Wow is all I can say. I was welcomed with a warm table with soft blankets and sheets. Soft music, everything clean and pretty, I felt at ease immediately. Anna herself spoke pretty good english and was very kind. Anna is a very skilled professional masseuse. After relaxing me with a good back, shoulder and arm massage she brought out her hot rocks to add extra deep healing to my sore spots. So nice. She continued with an excellent hip and leg massage. Me and my wife have been to many of the massage parlors in Folsom and this one is one that we plan on coming back to. We came in for a couples massage that lasted 60min. It felt very worthwhile and full-length. We were very pleased with our needed massage! They are very professional and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. The massage was one of the best we've had and we could tell they knew what they were doing. Music selection was great, playing classical which was a nice mix. When we turned over they gave us pillows which was a nice and caring touch. We felt very comfortable and the price was very comparable to others. I went to this place about 4 times already. My masseuse name was Yani. I have really bad neck and shoulder problems due to sitting in front of a computer all day. She didn't look like someone who has power but she quickly changed me mind. She is amazing at what she does. At the end of my session I left pain free and very relaxed. She was very professional and tailored to all my needs. I was very happy with my services. Usually the masseuse don't talk or have communication problems but she wasn't one of them. She was very friendly. The place was clean and very inviting. I couldn't have asked for a better place. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Very down to earth kind of place. I've never had anything but an excellent massage every time I've come here. All the therapists are great. And I get in with no wait! (Or maybe I've just been lucky?!). I'm actually a member at Massage Envy, but started coming here when I really needed a massage but couldn't get an appointment there. Also, Verdure doesn't deduct the time it takes to get dressed/undressed. 60 minutes is just that-60 minutes! The price is virtually the same, as well. I'd recommend this place to everyone. The massage I received here was amazing! This is not a spa, so you do not get the spa treatment. However, it is a clean and affordable place to get a good massage. I called the same day and made an appointment for a combination 60 massage for a few hours later. Upon arrival I was greeted and shown to nice and clean room. I settled into the massage bed and shortly after the therapist entered the room. She asked me what type of pressure I would like and I told her "medium". She definitely knew what she was doing. I felt so relaxed that I think I fell asleep. After the massage was over, I went to the reception area. There, she had a bottle of water waiting for me and asked me how everything was. After I left, the only thing on my mind was the thought of coming back soon. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to unwind. Yanni is amazing. She was able to pop a spot on my back that others have tried but could not. I felt amazing after the hour massage. I think she walked on my back but it felt amazing. I have no need to go elsewhere for a massage because she was that good. I may pay a little more but it's worth it. Strong hands and the right amount of pressure. Clean location, the rooms have hooks for your clothes and a chair. Soft music plays and the lotion leaves your skin smelling nice. They have a small cup of water waiting for you after your massage. I came in on a Sunday afternoon because my masseuse was unavailable. Based on the reviews I was actually pretty excited to try Verdure. But unfortunately I cannot provide a 5-star review. When I walked in, I was greeted by a super sweet lady and asked if I needed to use the restroom (I did). I noticed a very foul smell that was either a smell of mold or as if someone had gone "number 2" and left the door open. I try not to embarrass people so I didn't bring attention to it. I also noticed a shower in the bathroom that was definitely being used at some point, perfectly stocked, assuming for the staff. So after that observation I walked into my room and laid down on the amazing HEATED massage bed. I have never experienced that, so I was really looking forward to the massage. A gentlemen came in and started working on my back. Some of his technique was enjoyable, but it didn't rock my world like my normal masseuse does. At times the heated bed felt better than the actual massage. HOWEVER, I did feel a lot of "knots" get smoothed out but not in my problem areas, so it didn't make much difference. While I was getting dressed to depart, I heard a gentleman say he and his wife were leaving because they couldn't handle the foul odor I'd noticed but dismissed. I think the staff is sweet but I'd only come back for the warm bed and ask for a female masseuse. read more

I just had a fantastic one hour Swedish massage by Katie. This was my first visit to Verdure Massage Spa. Yesterday, I tweeked my lower back by lifting at a bad angle. Desperate for some relief, I searched Yelp for someone with openings right away. I got right in and I was pleasantly surprised by the great experience. The place was clean and comfortable.
