Wanted to switch from sprint to Verizon, came here and asked about how to do it was told one thing then showed up the next day and told completely different information from the way the plans worked to how you traded in your phones. The way I was told to do it it took four extra hours and a lot of stress. Picked up the new phones up and decided to switch back to sprint after this bad experience. Came back to return the phones and they refused to do that because they said I had to port my phones back to Verizon then back to Sprint. I drove down to the corporate store which I should've gone in the first place, and the corporate manager had to call Chase the manager and educate him that you do switch to sprint first because if you don't you lose the phone numbers. When I returned Chase told me it was a mixup, not taking responsibility for the debacle. This is a lesson for me never go to a verizon store other than the corporate which is in Westgate. I'm positive that I would've got better information there and probably still would be a Verizon customer. read more

Arrived mid-week around 5:30 and I was thrilled to find that there was no wait time before I was to be helped. Bryan greeted me and immediately assisted me in purchasing a feature phone. My requirements were a physical keyboard with good quality with both speaker and phone. He was knowledgeable and helpful and being in a relaxed friendly atmosphere was a huge plus. Bryan, Chris the other sales person, and I had time to even chat a bit, and I knew I would be greeted without hesitation or judgment when I reentered the store at least 2 additional times after purchasing my phone to get help with additional operating questions. So if you want a Verizon Wireless store that is more intimate, with helpful friendly sales people, go to this store that is squirreled away in the Pruneyard shopping center, with its store front on Campbell Avenue. read more

This store saved the day! I had such a horrible experience at the store on Prospect. I was ready to quit Verizon altogether and go with another carrier because the customer service was so bad at the other store. So after doing some shopping in the Pruneyard shopping center, I decided to give it one more try. The staff was terrific. I didn't once mention my bad experience at the other place. Bottom line, I wasn't looking to purchase an item and it was strictly help with service. They helped me out with flying colors. Horrible service, told me They we're going to pre order me the iPhone 10 waited for a week and never got any confirmation, they told me not to pre order it online because it would ruin my chances to get it in the store and the store would get it faster...they didn't put my name on the list so I now I can't get the phone until a later date... Horrible place, people that work there are not smart...they also told me to trade in my phones to get 650 for it and got nothing for it and now Verizon won't give me my phone back because they lied. read more

SHADY! Don't get scammed. Please. Read all the reviews, you will notice a pattern. Crooks. I'll originally went in to do the iphone7 trade in deal. The guy was nice and explained how our works and all the cost details but didn't mention a huge $199 service charge. So they ordered the phone and two weeks later it arrived at the store. I went in and found about this charge. The girl tried to make it sound like that charge is a normal service fee no matter which store you go to, completely misleading you. After I pressed her, she finally admitted if you order online, there's no service charge. I cancelled the order and called Verizon directly and they said that there's no such charge. Since this store is not an official Verizon retailer, they can add these bogus surcharges. If you look at the store though, they really make you think that it's an official store. They will mislead you at every angle. Go to official store, don't get scammed here. read more

Went in to get my phone travel ready....... got to Europe and nothing had been added to my phone. Then I find out while gone the manager added a home line I said I would think about and get back to them on my return. I was very happy with Verizon Corp. office after they removed the charges but will never ever ever go to another Verizon Store........ever. I was really excited when I read the great reviews this store got because it's so close to my house & I was not wanting to go to one of the super busy locations. I'm really disappointed to say, however, that it ended up being a terrible experience. I'm eligible for an upgrade, and I knew what phone I wanted. So I stopped by on my way home from work on Monday evening. I talked to Chris for a few minutes & told him which phone I wanted. He said they had one in the store, but it wasn't the color I wanted. So he told me he could order one for me & it would be in in a few days. He wrote down my name & phone number on a yellow post-it note. And then introduced me to the guy next to him who was the store manager. Chris told me he'd call me when the phone was in. And then I was on my way. In under 10 minutes. Great! Scratch that...not great. Fast forward to Thursday. I decided to call the store in the afternoon to find out when I should be expecting a call that my phone was in. Chris answers the phone. I explain I was in the store on Monday & he ordered a phone for me & I was wondering how long it should take. He hesitated & asked me for my name & what phone it was. He says "oh ok, it should just be a few more days, we'll give you a call." Ok. I'm not in too big of a hurry to get it, so that was fine. Fast forward again a few hours....I'm driving home from work & get a call. "Hello, Allison? Allison with ____(some company name I've never heard of____?" "Um, this is Allison, but I'm not with that company." "Oh, ok, well, did you order a phone from us?" "Yes." "Ok, I can't seem to locate a tracking number for your phone order, have you looked it up online with your tracking number?" "I don't have a tracking number." "We didn't give you a tracking number when you ordered it?" "No....you wrote my name and number down on a post-it and told me you'd call me when it came in." "Ooooohhhhhh, that's the problem then. You see, you have to pay for the phone, then we order it, then we'll call you when it's in. So can you come in to the store to order & pay for it?" "(sarcastic chuckle) No, I can't come in & order it. I came in on Monday & could have done that then, but you just wrote my name & phone number on a post-it instead." He then proceeded to tell me he can talk to his manager & see if they can make an exception and take my payment over the phone, if I'm comfortable with that. Right.................the same store manager who was standing next to you when you wrote my name & number down on a post-it.........no way in hell I'm giving you my credit card information, or my business. This store was helpless to me. After going to the Apple Store at Vallco Mall where they stripped out the firmware and software on my Apple 4S in order to restore it's settings (which they failed to do; so now I need another phone), I came here. A mistake. He couldn't log in to my account and claimed he wasn't getting the correct account information from me. I came back 1/2 hour later at 1:30pm and there was a sign on the store "Out to lunch. Be back in 1/2 hour." He was inside the store with the lights off!! I am tempted to drop Verizon as my carrier. I would have given them no stars if it would have let me. Stay away, or bring a chair and plan on making a day of it. Simple add a line and transfer a number to the new phone. 1.5 hours later, had the phone, but it wouldn't accept calls. Next day, went to exchange it for a different model..$35 restock fee (on a $50 phone) and after 2 hours they achieved nothing, but to waste my time, at this point I had to leave. They said they would call when he got it straightened out...still waiting. Looking forward to my next visit...NOT! read more

Having been with at&t and t mobile, verizon reception is comparable at best but there customer service is light years behind. I think they put there D squad at this location, like all the untalented socially inept kids who didn't get chosen for the pick up game get banished to the bascom verizon. Been here countless times with problems with the reception the phone whatever it may be they have no interest in resolving these matters as they work on commission and only care to generate sales for there own benefit. The store manager who resembles an over sized version of the red head catcher from the sandlot will stand there and blatantly ignore customers in order to take care of what he needs to do. Contract ends in December yet they were so unhelpful i decided i couldn't wait and broke it and went to T mobile, cheaper bill, unlimited data, and employees that are actually helpful. I would say I hope this and similar reviews help them clean up shop and get some people who are qualified but alass working full time as a cell phone store is punishment enough, enjoy! read more

Shame on the tactics at this store. I visited Bascom/Pruneyard store for consulting on my account. The purpose of my visit was to discuss plans, in person, to lower my bill. Lower my bill is my main concern. I was almost in tears and really frustrated. Lower bill. So, a nice person told me they can put me on a plan for $$ and that plan comes with a "FREE TABLET" I did not care about the free tablet but it was presented to me that this was the way I could get the lower plan. In actuality my GIGS were lowered so, my cost went down. How many young and old people get taken by sales people is really sad. I am now on a 2 year contract for a tablet that I paid $50 in tax. Why $ 50 in for taxe for a 250.00 tablet. The contract is going to cost me OVER $400.00 read more

I brought my phone in for support with an apparent defective display. I received anything but. What I did receive was a lackluster response and a borderline rude attitude from the guy at the desk. Even his snide claim for the cost of a new phone was inflated by $100 bucks. One would expect to get at least some semblance of customer support, but this store clearly couldn't care less. read more

My Wife and I were out walking in the Pruneyard and just stopped by the Verizon store there to ask about the new iPhone 6S. We spoke to the store Manager Omar Eldesouky who had a very friendly, inviting demeanor. We proceeded to speak with Omar who was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the technology and our options. He was very patient and understanding with all of our concerns. We previously purchased our phones from the Verizon store on the El Camino Real near Scott Blvd. Not to say the El Camino store was bad at all but Omar and his staff was in a league of their own! I have been a Quality professional for over 30 years at several Fortune 500 Companies and could only dream of having such a capable hard working & attentive individual as Omar was! My Wife and I both purchased the new phones and have recommended this store to our close friends. After 2 long years I'm finally free of Verizon Wireless. I was using a Motorola Ultra Maxx which would worked very well on a decent network. Unfortunately I was constantly plagued with dropped calls, poor reception and extremely poor network performance. How bad? Any weekday calls after 1pm near San Jose airport had a 50-50 chance of going through or staying connected. The same for Sunnyvale and Mountain View. In other words most of Silicon Valley. Network performance ranged from an occasional 5-6Mbps to a consistent 500Kbps in Sunnyvale. Contrast that with my wife's AT&T iPhone which consistently came in at 14-16Mbps throughout Silicon Valley. Complains to Verizon were useless, on to AT&T. (All measurements via OOKLA Speedtest.) Can you hear me now Verizon? read more

My mom was using a ten plus year android my father had given her. She is not tech savvy and does not want the hassle of a smart phone. Her phone broke. We go into the store a little after 6pm and Daniel starts helping us. He clarifies the phone is broken and starts walking us through options. We opt to get her the Samsung beginner smart phone where we can turn the data off. The issue becomes she is on my dads plan but wants her own plan. That means Daniel has to call my less than delightful father, who talks his ear off over 30 minutes and knowing my dad involves a lot of screaming. We are so embarrassed. Daniel finally gets my dad to agree to the actions we need, we apologize for all the yelling and compliment how lovely he is, by this time the store is closed!!! Daniel stays until 7:30pm to activate my moms phone, show her features, get her a case, put the glass cover protector on, and answer all questions!!!
