I really can't complain, and I really question the intentions of those who are Leaving the negative reviews. Of all the Verizon's I've done business with, this is probably one of the best. They are eager to help me, even if it's just putting my screen protector back on for me, or answer a billing question. Yes they have offered me add ons, but I have never felt pressured to take the service. The customer service agents are friendly and knowledgable. One agent helped my mom transfer all her info from one phone to the next. She seemed very confused by the process and never once did he talk down to her or get frustrated that she didn't understand what others would probably consider to be simple. I've never had a negative experience at THIS particular verizon. Starting to think people sometimes forget that those in customer service are human too and should be treated with the same respect that we as the customer demand. The only reason they received 4 instead of 5 stars is because the wait is typically much longer than I want to deal with! read more

My experience today was like dealing a pushy car salesman. I had to decline an offer over 5x's! I understand that the gentleman (I declined to look at his badge)was just doing his sales job, but he did not know when to stop. He was pushy and cocky and rudely asked "why not" numerous times!! I felt that he was trying to impress his audience of co-workers and possibly his supervisor. When I finally got upset, I told him not to get offended when I declined his "audience" left the area for him to complete my order. The only reason why I didn't leave was because my boyfriend was exhausted from working overnight and we needed the phone. This is the ONLY store I've ever experienced such a horrible experience. The next day I went to the store on Griffin (Corona) to purchase a case and that store treated me with more respect. Yes, that store tried selling me an additional accessory but only tried once and respected my decline. After an hour after leaving the store (The Crossing-Cajalco)we realized we did not get the contracts transferred to the new phone. A different employee (Aaem)assisted us with little enthusiasm we also had a question on memory card. Instead of helping us, his response was "go to the setting and you can figure it out". I've never experiences such horrible service at any Verizon store. One star rating for this particular store is too generous. read more

I went into the Verizon store to upgrade my IPhone 7+ to the IPhone XS max (512 gb) the sales person checked my phone to insure It qualified for the $320 rebate which it did. The sales person said he was going to print out a payment schedule, he came back and said that he couldn't print it out but would write it out for me. All of this was acceptable to me. The sales person present 3 accessories bundles that I rejected. I told him all I needed was the screen protector and case. I asked him how much it would be and he said $100. I then said to him all I need is the phone, I can buy the case and screen protector at Best Buy. He asked why Best Buy and I said because I can get rewards points he then in a smug tone said "Why don't you just buy the IPhone at Best Buy so you can get your rewards points". So because I wouldn't purchase their accessories bundle of $150., he turned away a sale of an iPhone that retails over $1400. I've been a long time customer of over 15 years. This was the first time that I received sub par service from this specific store. I will never purchase any items from this particular store again. read more

Went in store to get new service on a Tuesday at 11:30.Was greeted by manager and was told 10 to 15 minute wait. Waited 1/2 hour looked at him and said "im leaving, it's been 1/2 HR". I'll go somewhere else. As I sat there 3 employees were either just coming from lunch or start of shift. For a total of 1 manager, and 6 employees with only 3 people being helped. Waiting 1/2 HR for help is ridiculous. I will go to a different store or just call the 800 number. read more

Horrible experience. Brought my cell phone in two weeks ago with phone issues, replaced SIM card, still after a week still same issues. Brought it back again and they ordered me a new certified refurbished iPhone 8+, and was instructed to return my damaged phone. Took my refurbished phone that still wasn't working to the Apple store where they fixed due programming issues. My phone is finally working again, but here is the main compliant, when I turned in my damaged phone after I received the new refurbished phone, I lost my glass screen protector for my phone. I was told at the time they ordered my refurbished phone they would replace my glass screen protector. Went to this Verizon store today and was told, VERY RUDELY, we don't replace screen protectors EVER!!!!! I explained my situation and she told me "its common sense, when you turn in your phone you ALWAYS take your screen protector off!" I would really like to know how many people do this or is it even possible. Do you peel a Band-Aid off and re-stick it on your cut?? After all the money I spent on cell phones, phone chargers, and cell phone cases and accessories, Verizon couldn't replace my screen protector? Bad customer service. I will never visit this Verizon store ever again. Shame on you! I will take my business elsewhere. Can't trust the Sales Reps. Sales Rep ID EOCA1 talked us into switching from AT& T to Verizon based on making it affordable, through trading in our phones and clearly stating Verizon would buy out our AT&T contract. Today I applied for the rebate from Verizon to buy out the AT&T Contract after receiving our last AT&T bill, and learned that any trade in revenue applied will be deducted from the buy out reimbursement. Total B.S! I'm not sure if corporate requires their sales reps to lie to consumers, or if they do on their own, but I feel we were taken advantage of. Worst experience ever in a Verizon store. I ended up leaving without buying a phone and will never go there again. They were unprofessional, could not answer simple questions, gave us incorrect information and didn't know their own stock, even though we called ahead of time to confirm. Bad attitude with ineptness is not a good combination. On top of all that, their printed materials on how to transfer data from old device to new (they won't do it for you in the store because it takes too much time) had grammatical errors in it! Does Verizon corporate know this? They also told me ALL Verizon stores no longer transfers data, which is not true as we verified with other Verizon stores. read more

I have never written a review before so I would advise you to take that into account as you gloss over my opinion of my experience at Verizon. I had been with T-Mobile for over a year before finally deciding to try switching to Verizon. I went in with mixed emotions as I'm sure most of us do when attempting to sign up or switch cellphone carriers. When I signed up for T-Mobile I was treated like a chore and received next to no enthusiasm for making the decision to sign on with them. This was far from my experience at Verizon. The second I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly gentlemen, Dom, who took the time to not only check me in personally but also inform me how long I should expect to wait for help. The time I was given was nearly spot on and I was directed to a man named Corneal who did everything but sell his soul to get me the best deal and plan with Verizon. His customer service, honesty and overall friendliness are ultimately what landed me as a Verizon customer. Not only did I walk out with a brand new IPhone 7, new phone case, car charger, screen protector and low monthly cost, but also a free installation of a new product called HUM which is an awesome service that provides safety and security of your vehicle and family. I cannot rave enough about this store and the sales rep that helped me out. You have definitely landed a lifetime customer Verizon. Great job! read more

Extremely poor customer service. My iPhone 5 earbuds stopped working so I called Verizon's customer service line. They told me that I could go to the store and order a new pair since I was still under warranty. I got to the store and the sales reps were completely ignorant as to what the warranty covers. The reps tried to tell me that earbuds are not covered so I called the Verizon service line again to confirm what they had told me. The customer service rep agreed with me that earbuds are covered so I handed the phone to the store rep. The rep still didn't want to replace my earbuds. Apparently although Verizon Sells apple products they will not replace malfunctioning products. The store rep sharlene gave me extremely poor customer service. I have been a customer of this particular store for 4 years but I due to this disappointing experience I will no longer shop here. read more

I went in for assistance with my old phone to see if I could transfer apps and notes onto my new iPhone. It was at 11:35am Monday 7-22-19 when I entered the store and one of the reps was assisting another customer when an a rep asked if I needed help. I explained to him I would like to know if they could transfer my apps and notes to my new phone so I could send in my old phone and he said no for the notes and I explained to him I purchased the phone from Costco because of a sale and trade in promotion I received from them and he said he couldn't help me since I purchased the phone from Costco and not Verizon. I told him I spoke to someone at the store and they could not beat the price. I told him I didn't change my service provider I just purchased the phone elsewhere and explained to him that the rep at Costco told me that the store might be able to help me that is why I came in. He was not helpful at all and did not offer any suggestions or help, I had to keep asking for help with downloading apps and a few issues I was having with the new phone and asked what I needed to do to send in my old phone and he said he didn't know since I purchased it elsewhere. He had no customer relations or communication skills on dealing with a customer much less the public. Never smiled once and the entire visit he had a horrible attitude. I am a retiree from VZ and have come to this store since they opened many years ago and never had this type of horrible service. Not sure if race was a reason since I look white but am Hispanic and the employee was Pilipino maybe late 40s plus. read more

He was also very patient with me as I was trying to figure out my best options. I was referred by a friend who had a great experience as well. They will try to find the smallest defect such as a scratch or nick in the phone and then try to make you pay the full remaining balance of the phone. Today we went in to Verizon because I was having issues with my phone. We were assisted by an extraordinary solutions specialist named Evelyn Sanchez. Evelyn was very professional, knowledgeable and able to zero in on my problems within nanoseconds. My problems were setting/setup related and not particularly Verizon related, but Evelyn took the time to review and update my phone - now it works fine. She reviewed the account and offered suggestions, recommendations. She was friendly, efficient and also spoke to my sister who is thinking of switching her family back to Verizon thanks to the knowledge and direction Evelyn provided. read more

Walked up to the store at 8:02pm(they close at 8:00pm)and was ignored by everyone in the store with the exception of a security guard that told me what time they close ten times before finally asking an employee if they could help me. One employee looked at me through the glass door and laughed. Didn't even bother to ask what I needed. I've worked retail. I know what its like to work a long shift and have people coming in right when you're about to close. However, the doors to any retail place I worked at never got locked as soon as the clock struck closing time and I'd never laugh at a customer standing outside the store when asked if I could help them. I'd be fired. No doubt. All I needed was a new sim card. The one in my phone burnt out and just needed to be replaced. Been through this before. Its a 5 minute deal. Without a functioning sim card a phone is useless. Can't make calls, can't use internet, nothing. Unless you're connected to wifi and when you're traveling through California as I was at the time. There really aren't too many places to stop for wifi along the 15 freeway going towards San Diego. So it was sort of an emergency. Now with that being said, if I wanted to set up service for 20 iPhones at 8:02pm, I'm fully in support of any cruel treatment to me as a customer because that's RIDICULOUS. But. That's not what I was there for. So here's a big middle finger to all of you employees working tonight, especially the POS that laughed at me. Karma's a bitch. Don't ever feel justified complaining if you're turned away at closing time on the dot. Just remember the night you laughed at me and left me with a phone that didn't work. read more

Nikko helped me on Saturday with my iPhone. I first went into the Verizon store on McKinley, which was closer, but after Cameran, the store associate at the McKinley store, almost refused to sell me an iPhone 5, I had to leave and go to another Verizon. The employees must get a commission on selling iPhone 6's because it was as though Cameran didn't care about what we wanted but rather about getting some kind of incentive to sell us the iPhone 6. This is by far the worst Verizon store there is! David was so disrespectful and rude. I went to the store to just return an item and had to wait 45 mins! While I was waiting all employes were messing around with wireless speakers and making the music way too loud in the store. Other ppl were waiting as well and were upset how loud it was. We both turned off the speakers that were placed by us bc it was hurting our ears. David came over and took the speaker and turned it back on in which I told him that it was too loud and uncomfortable for us waiting. He was extremely rude! I didn't know it was "Club Verizon"tonight. I asked to speak to a manager and they said there wasn't one on duty. There are plenty of other Verizon stores to visit. I purchased an iPhone 7 Plus from this store. From the first day I received it, I noticed that the volume was low when I tried to use the phone. The problem eventually fixed itself within 2 to 3 days and it's been fine up until about a week and a half ago. The phone completely shut off on me for no reason at all. I could not get it turned back on for over an hour. When It finally turned back on, the speaker was out again. Anytime I tried to use the phone, the person on the other end of the line was very faint. I could only use the phone if plugged in my headset or put the person on speaker phone. After about a week and a half of this problem, I decided to go into this Verizon store. At that moment, the phone decided it was going to start working. I told the manager, Katherine, about the problem and she told me that because the phone is working now, I could not have it replaced. I told her that this phone problem has happened twice already in less than four months. She then proceeded to tell me, in all her wisdom, that I need to bring it in when the phone is not working. What does she think I walked in there for? And when a customer comes in and complains about a phone that clearly is not working, you would think that there would be some place in their customer service to replace the broken phone. The speaker clearly does not work because this has happened twice in the last four months. Why would any person walk into a store to trade it out for a refurbished phone if the brand-new phone was working correctly? The only reason I am giving one star for the store, is because I didn't have a long wait. I give them zero stars for their idiotic customer service and her asinine comments. read more
