Worst customer service I've ever experienced, the woman with red hair and fake lashes needs to be fired immediately. She cut us off while we were talking and told us to go elsewhere to get help while we simply came in and said "we are looking to upgrade a phone and get help with a billing question". Went in this morning at 10 am to upgrade my phone. There were only two of us customers in the store. The unfriendly clerk said I'd have to make an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. Went to Apple and they took care of me right away with friendly and very helpful staff. This isn't the first time I've experienced unfriendly and unhelpful staff at the Serramonte store. I came to this location after a terrible experience at the Verizon store in Stonestown, which is actually Victra, an authorized Verizon retailer and not an actual Verizon store which I find the lack of signage terribly misleading. They are absolutely not one of the same. Anyway, DJ was the only person on the floor and there were a few groups waiting to be helped. He acknowledged us and others who walked in the door, even when he was helping a customer so we knew our place in line. He was courteous and friendly. After struggling with T-Mobile for some time, me and my wife decided to switch to Verizon. We just showed up at the store on a Saturday afternoon and they checked us in. Johnny, our sales representative, was super nice and patient. He explained us the plans in detail, answered all our questions, and help us decide without the salesman tricks. He acted like a friend rather than a rep. The tricky part was transferring our numbers from the previous carrier to Verizon. Johnny endured the whole process with us for a good 1 and a half hour. He helped us set up the new phone and made sure everything was alright and functioning. We made some call center calls with him. It could have been a terrible process if it wasn't for him. I can't tell how happy I was with the service we received at this shop. In addition to that, Verizon works much better than T-Mobile in SF. As you can see from recent reviews many experiences in cell phone store are not positive. Like going into a car dealership, you enter the showroom feeling a bit defense because you might have heard or seen reviews of other customers being taken advantage of. That was not my experience at all at this Daly City Verizon store. The Verizon consultant Cameron greeted and asked, "how he could help me today?" This store does not take care of their long time customers at all. They have very poor customer service. They asked me for a reason when I came in and got my phone number, etc and then I waited for long time assuming that they had me in queue. After being annoyed of waiting for approximately 45 min nobody came to update me. I had to approach someone to see how much longer the wait is and guess what, the guy tells me I got kicked out off the queue. Unbelievable! I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. AGENT LIED AND DID NOT CHANGE MY PLAN!! I hope someone from this branch sees this review. I understand they are closed due to COVID-19 stay at home order, which is why I cannot go in and let them know. I went in 10/24/20 to fix an issue with the iPhone 12 pro. I only intended to get a new SIM, but the agent recommended me to switch my unlimited plan to the new play more plan that includes the Disney/hulu/ESPN bundle for the SAME PRICE! I signed the authorization form and he said he can input it later since there was a system glitch. Told me not to worry and it will be changed by COB that day. I noticed that my 5G wasn't working that well and my signal was no different from before, but I thought it was just the area. Fast forward today when trying to access the new add ons and NOTHING! My plan is still the same and that agent never switched my plan. Been paying the same amount as the play more plan with no benefits. OMG don't know where to start. We switched to Verizon business phone and internet a few years ago. Well we are on our third modem the last one lasted 3 weeks as of today. We were on the phone with customer service for 3 hours just so they could tell us modem is bad for third time even though replaced 3 weeks ago. When we told them we need shipped overnight as our business has no internet and phones than customer service said i will have to pay for overnight shipping for their modem that failed. Each time our modems went bad we had no service for several days at our business and lost thousands of dollars. It cost me 90.00 just today to have my office manager on the phone for over 3 hours just to let us know modem is bad and we will receive replacement in 3-5 days. If you want quality products and good customer service, I would definitely look elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service. I've gone in there twice because I've been a customer for many years and I needed some help with my phone. They don't even try to help. They're not friendly, especially the short little red headed girl. Both times she has been very rude. Today I went in and stood at the front of the store waiting for help. She finally said something to me and I couldn't hear what she was saying. I started to walk toward her saying excuse me I didn't hear you and she yells "Get back". So I went back to the entrance and waited. She finished with her customer and instead of seeing if she could help me or say anything at all she walked over to another table and just listened to their conversation. When she was finished wasting time there she went to a room in the back. Finally someone else came over and all I wanted to do was drop off some Verizon equipment but they wouldn't take it. It wouldn't fit in a UPS Dropbox so I had to drive further to take it to a UPS store. I'm so happy I quit Verizon. That is not service. I wish I could give it 0 stars. First off the customer service is really bad. There are workers sitting inside and whenever you open the door, they just call another worker to come and "assist" you later to just going back inside. I was there for almost the whole day and no one solved my problem and i saw it happen. They just want you to open a new line or buy something. They are nice people but they try to help you get a new line which i did. They do everything on their little ipad and if they can't help you with a certain thing, they just tell you to call their customer service which is really bad but better than in person in a store. First off, they said that you can get promotional deals and lots of cheaper discounts. It takes months for it to work and they can't do anything about it until you call their customer service and explain detailed. I don't want to name names but all the workers there just want to get things done with like wanting you to buy something and forgets it. This worker that helped me literally forgot to help me add something and that resulted in an extra charge. I am believing that they just want to help a customer as fast as possible and literally not care. They have so much extra fees and random charges. The verizon app is so trash too! The worker told me i had to leave almost before closing but the worker caused that problem! It's literally your fault! It's just so frustrating and annoying at this point. read more

Ok I'll admit I bought a VERY cheap Motorola smart phone here ($250) and my recommendation is DON'T if you can afford something better. You truly get what you pay for and I ended up going through two of them within the warranty period for various quality/operational reasons. I have to admit though these people do what they can to help. My latest problem was that the phone wouldn't charge because the cable wouldn't go in all the way. One of the employees there (I think his name was Miguel?) took the time to thoroughly clean out the phone's charge port and that worked like a charm! Its scary to see all the crud that can build up in there if you keep your phone in your pocket. Also I have to say they do an outstanding job here keeping customers safe in light of the current situation. Only two customers are allowed to be in store at one time so I had to wait in my car (as did others) until they came to get me. They've also gone though great lengths inside to keep space between customers and staff with tables with large sheets of Plexiglas between them (like visiting someone in prison) and just a fraction of their previous inventory on display (so not a lot to handle or touch). At least they're going the extra mile which is more than I can say for AT&T across the street which does monitor customer entry but hasn't made any changes to the actual showroom itself that I could see.. read more

Really not surprised to see the plethora of 1-star reviews for this place. Was here back in December for a promotion when you port over ($500 for bringing ur own device). Amear (or Amean.... I don't know his name because he has handwriting like a kindergartener) sets up my accounts and tells me I'm good to go and I'll get that money in 4-6 weeks. 8th week comes around and nothing received, so I go back to ask in person. Amear tells me they actually said 2-3 months but with so much attitude and annoyance like I killed his dog or something. But cool whatever. Today (4 months later) I call Verizon to find out I was supposed to fill out a rebate form. And Amear did not bother to inform me of this. Zero customer service, complete incompetence. I came to this Verizon store to ask a few questions regarding an upgrade to my phone. It was 1 pm on Thursday afternoon and was third in line. I waited over an hour while the employees stood around talking. I finally told the two employees that were busy talking in the front of the store that I was done waiting and one said to me that I was next, I told her that I waited over an hour just to ask a few questions and I was done waiting. My phone stopped working after the number was changed. Verizon can't fix it, and hasn't refunded my money, despite multiple employees stating they would, and that they would call me re: the status of the refund. Verizon told me to go to this store, who was unable to issue a refund. I've contacted Verizon about this 9 times, on the phone, through the chat feature, and in person. I don't think it's worth Verizon's or my time to pursue this further; I want my money back since Verizon isn't providing cellular service, which is what I paid for. read more

The guy who helped me, Brian, sent me away without having resolved my issue (my phone is still not receiving incoming calls, and i'm having issues with texts). I told him clearly what I needed and he promised that the issue was "resolved" but it takes a few hours for it to start working... sounded suspicious to me and like he was just trying to get me out of the store so he didn't have to deal with it anymore. I believed him though, and left, and lo and behold two days later my issues haven't been resolved. I've spent hours on the phone and in stores and it seems no one wants to help me or cares that the service i PAY FOR doesn't work. They told me it would be an hour wait and that they would TEXT ME. Wow! Our puppy ate my husband's phone, so we had to go to a Verizon store to switch the contacts to the new phone he got online. I was gearing up for the usual monologue "We don't service at this store or we cannot help you if you got it online. Then they spend 5 minutes looking up your account, so they can say, you have to be the account holder. If you are the account holder they say you have to be the manager of that line. Etc. Etc. So we go the Serramonte Store. Walk in and "Can I help you"? So I tell DJ the issue, as he is looking at it another employee comes over to try and help (cuz this phone is a mess) I am so sorry that I did not catch his name, as well. DJ thinks he can fix it. Tells us it is going to be 30.00. No problem. Sets it all up, check it to be sure he got it all. We were out of there in 15 minutes. Verizon, you need like 1000 employees like DJ. Going there was a complete waste of time. Reviews are at two extremes, 1 star because of terrible service and then some 5 star reviews. Seems really suspicious. I think the five star reviews are bought or from friends and family. Verizon is one of the more expensive carriers and I've been a customer for 18 years, because you get what you pay for and it's always been a wonderful experience, before today. Very unprofessional, the moment I stepped into this branch there were literally 5-6 employees standing in front of the door chatting between each other. Once I told them I had an appointment they just looked at each other to see who was going to assist and play rock, paper, and scissors between each other. Once I sat down with the team member he just said anything to do with credits needs to be called over customer service. I did not even state the reason what my visit was, they only wanted to refer me to customer service because I had questions about my bill and if I owed anything for my device. The folks here were very helpful! Much more helpful and knowledgeable than the people over at T-Mobile and AT&T in Serramonte. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to have Misha get us started with new phones and plans. (She's great!) Even though it wasn't too busy, it still took quite a while. Well worth it though! Went to this location today to set-up a new account. After over an hour in the store, setting up a new account, and being helped by three different staff members, someone told me during the last and final step that my phone was incompatible with the Verizon network and if I wanted to port my number, I would have to get a new phone. Needless to say it was a complete waste of our time. I'd expect those issues to be spotted earlier on in the process. I guess if one person gave us (a potential new customer) more than five minutes of their time, they could have spotted it. Never going back to this location. I updated my iPhone in February and they had a deal for iPad at that time too. So I've got my iPad mini with the cellular data. Victoria helped us. I picked gold color. However, she ordered my mini iPad as space grey. We had to return the space grey at the Fed Ex. After I've got the gold one that I've ordered, the Cellular SIM wasn't in it. So, I had to go to the store again to fix it. On top of that, I was told the cellular data plan on my mini iPad could cancel anytime after 3 months. After 5 months, I came in to cancel the data plan, they've gave me the phone number to call and said it can get it done on the phone. When I call the service number, I was told to give $170 to cancel. That information, I do not have any knowledge of. The sale person should mention the customer because if I have to pay for cancellation, I wouldn't have gotten in the first place. I can use WiFi for my iPad at home. This is very disappointing. Such a terrible experience for simple action. I would rather pay full price at the original Apple store. I had to visit to this particular Verizon several times and wasted my time and energy. Please KNOW how to work and STOP wasting people time, which is more important than money for me. I write this review because whenever I use my iPad, this horrible experience always come up to my mind. read more
