This was by far the best experience I've ever had. I switched to Verizon and received 2 iPhone 14 Plus that I chose to pickup in store so I had them same day. I expected to walk in, get the phone and leave. The store associate Mike approached right away, super friendly and helpful. While he was getting our phones my daughter and I were looking at screen protectors, when he came back he told me if we decided to get the protectors I'd get 25% off and he would be happy to put them on the phones for me. From that moment on Mike went above and beyond! He put the protectors on, asked if I knew how to activate which I didn't but thought I would figure out.. it wasn't so easy! I had to call my old provider and get transfer pins, my Verizon account had to be activated. Mike was so knowledgeable, patient and really cared about us walking out all setup with working phones! He also got the manager to give me a bunch of credits off my first bill, informed me about a deal I was missing and told me exactly who to call and get those credits from. He is truly an asset to Verizon! He also set me up with the Verizon internet box, I get to try for 30 days free. If I can get rid of Cox $250 internet bill and keep the $55 a month box I'll be even happier! Because of Mike and his incredible hospitality I couldn't be happier with switching to Verizon! And if I have any trouble he gave me his work number to call anytime. I hope Verizon treats him as well as he treats their customers!

I recently stopped by Verizon Wireless on Saturday early afternoon around 1:00 P.M. I had bought a new Samsung Note10+ and wanted to go in the store to activate the phone. The Verizon Wireless store is easy to get to. You can take the 95/Buffalo exit (coming north-bound) or take the 95/Ann (coming south-bound). Take a few local streets and the store is located in a private parking lot shared by a few other local businesses such as Home Depot and Farmer Boy's. As I walked in, I noticed it was relatively busy. It seemed like every representative was working with someone. I ended up waiting for 5 minutes near the door before a representative came over to ask for my phone number and put me in the queue. I asked how long the wait was, and the gentleman said about 30 minutes. I decided to wait it out since I really wanted to get my phone activated, contacts transferred, messages moved over etc. There were a few seats inside their store to sit in and wait. I waited for about 25 minutes and finally was called. I provided my old cell phone S7 and the new Note10+. The customer representative I was working with went ahead and transferred the SIM card. He also showed me how to use the Samsung SwitchConnect to be able to transfer files between each phones. While I was there, I just transferred my contacts and handled the rest at home. The customer representative was super helpful, but he kept trying to up-sell services. When I had mentioned about a screen protector, he had offered one of the most expensive ones in the store, for about $50.00. I had mentioned that I'll just keep the default one on the phone until later. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at this store. Just be prepared to wait. The wait time was really long. I also was a little disheartened at how much the customer service representative was trying to up-sell services to me.

    But I'm here at 6 .

This is a tough review to write because until yesterday, I trusted Gadgetmates--especially…read moreJonas--completely. I've recommended them, defended them, and even did so in-store less than 24 hours before this went sideways. Then it fell apart. I dropped off my laptop at 2:30 p.m. for what I was told was a simple job: remove a RAID controller, copy data, and install a second SSD. I was promised it was "easy," that data transfer was the only real step, and that I'd have it back by 2 p.m. the next day. I was signed up for text updates--none came. At 5:45 p.m. that same day, I called to check in. I was told the transfer was "60-70% done." Two other people heard that call. The next day was a string of delays, missed calls, and vague updates. By 4:30 p.m.--well past the promised deadline--I finally learned the truth: no data had been transferred, no work had been done, and the laptop hadn't even been turned on. (Alienware logs don't lie.) Then came the real problem: Jonas. Instead of owning the failure, he pivoted to condescension and denial--telling me I "don't understand RAID," insisting no one promised a next-day turnaround, claiming my SSD was defective (it isn't), and denying statements multiple people heard firsthand. In short, the story changed, the facts didn't, and I was treated like the problem. Meanwhile, I can't get anyone to tell me my data was safe; I was panicking as any normal person would. I have backups, scattered across several drives and will take days to recover to 90% of what was on the laptop. I got the laptop back around 5 p.m., untouched until 3:30 that afternoon--hours after I was told work was already mostly complete. How do I know this? Because every powerup, every keystroke is logged by the laptop's security system. See shots below: One can see exactly when it was plugged in. Mistakes happen. I can deal with delays and mistakes. We're all human. What I don't tolerate is being misled, talked down to, and effectively called a liar when there's clear evidence otherwise, indicating precisely who did what and when. Curious isn't it, how some business project their own failings onto others, rather than just honestly owning the problem and making it right? That's how I manage my clients, anyway. Explain the failure, offer a solution, make it right, and everybody stays friendly. I'd never consider insulting a client; it cost a lot to gain them, and it's easily 30X more costly to lose one. Clients share experiences. Here, and elsewhere. And people trust those shares of personal experiences. shared on review sites. As I'll do on every review site I can find after the insults tossed at me. What a shame; my most trusted go-to gone means now finding their replacement.

There is no way this place legitimately earned the 5 star reviews. PLEASE BE WARNED!! That said, the brothers who run this business are .....smooth. I was led to a pair of head phones that were SUPER comfortable and the sound quality was amazing. They pulled up the "Amazon headphones on sale(same headphones) for $499.00.....BUT WAIT!!! Yeah you get the picture. I bought them (half price of course because they are SO NICE), and the headphones I got when I got them home and tried them....were cheaply made and uncomfortable. I thought..."WTH , where are the comfy ones I had on?" I was there for an Animal Expo, and we were staying at the Flamingo...so we stumbled in to the "trap." Also included (because they are so nice) was a phone charger case. 250 dollars....but for you....blah blah. Phone charger case is ok....eh. Not worth the money as there are equal quality less expensive options. However at least they still work. My best friends charging phone case stopped worked a few days after she got home. She is still trying to get the $20.00 lifetime replacement charger. They "include" these plastic cards that are "warranty's"...but no where on their "website" will allow you to register. Buyer Beware. I expect more faceless positive reviews after I post this. My advice....stay away. Scammers.

In-store experience was just fine, no complaints (and why this review includes two stars instead of just one). Fast forward to June 2026, and the TV stops working. We schedule a repair online with the Geek Squad, specify the purchase date of the TV and that it's no longer under warranty, pay the $130 service fee, and are scheduled for an agent to come out for the repair. Three weeks later, we have been rescheduled twice already, and just this afternoon I receive a call from a Best Buy CSR that they need to reschedule the appointment AGAIN. Each time, they can only reschedule for another week out. I get that this is just a TV, not exactly a life-or-death appliance, but this is still an unacceptable lack of service, especially when we've paid up front. Either find another agent to come out - you're Best Buy for heaven's sake, you can't reasonably tell me you only have one agent in the entirety of the Las Vegas valley - or just be honest that you're not up for repairing a four-year-old TV even if its owners are willing to pay out of pocket. Anyway, we'll be taking our repair money elsewhere, and would warn anyone buying from Best Buy to never rely on the Geek Squad for help since it is, apparently, nonexistent. What a shame.
