He was kind and helpful and honest and hard working and sincere, and all around a good person. Also very knowledgeable. He listened to my problems and knew just how to help me, and answered all my questions. I came in weary and wary of how I would be treated. To get an iPhone, this place is more convenient than an Apple Store. That said, we had a horrible experience yesterday. We got a new iPhone and wanted to switch phone numbers. Unfortunately, even after I was very specific with exactly what number should be switched, the Victra representative switched the wrong number. This set off a chain reaction where 3 phones in my family were all getting the wrong numbers / texts and one phone didn't even work anymore. On top of that, Verizon has eliminated all after hours support so I had 3 family members furious with me for 12 hours. Thankfully I was able to call Verizon the following morning and a well trained tech support representative fixed it. However, I will not trust this Verizon branch with anything remotely complex again. read more

My wife and I want to congratulate two employees that finally corrected our as Verizon customers. We had an unfortunate experience as some of our billing was incorrectly processed which took considerable time for us to explain to the salesman in the store. We contacted Verizon by phone and received some good advice from a supervisor named Brenda. We eventually returned to the store in Westwood and met Johnathon, who was extremely courteous and kind. He patiently solved our problem and fixed the mistakes that occured from our initial phone purchase. He corrected the accounts and got everything working correctly. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all the technical details and explained my options clearly, including ways to save money--without ever being pushy about products or plans. I fortunately stumbled upon this Verizon location while running errands. I was met by the representative, Michael Palomares, who was truly fantastic. With my family, I have had a membership with Verizon for over 20 years, and have purchased numerous cell phones, iPhones, accessories, subscriptions, etc. I have never encountered a more knowledgeable, patient, and helpful representative. I purchased a new plan, iPhone, and a lot of accessories and Michael helped me choose the most cost efficient plan, and assisted me in transitioning to my new 16 Pro. Since I am essentially technologically incompetent, I needed a lot of assistance and explanations, which Michael kindly provided in a way I could understand. In the past, I have felt anxious and time pressured, but Michael provided dedicated and careful guidance so that I felt very reassured. He was able to thoroughly answer all of my questions in a highly professional and friendly manner. I cannot recommend Michael highly enough. He really understands the notion of customer service in an age of unaccountability, glibness, and apathy. Thank you Michael!! read more

I came here 5 years ago and received incredible service. How the mighty have fallen. Had a technical emergency this week. I have a business account and my device was glitching and I couldn't even contact customer care on my device, so I went into the store. I walk in to an empty store and a tall guy in black glasses walks out from the back and tells me to have a seat. He then disappears for 10 min. Once he returns, he gives me a dead eyed stare and asks what I need. I explained my device was glitching and I wasn't able to connect with customer support to troubleshoot device. i said my device is under warranty and I added that I had another phone to activate if necessary. With that he just responded...it'll be 40 dollars for activation. I said I don't know if I even need to activate because I'm not able to connect with tech support. He rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders like..."yeah, soo???" I asked if I could connect with Verizon Customer Care to establish what I should do next and he said...NO. He said they don't have a phone and I wasn't using his. Then he walked away. Needless to say...I left. I'm okay with authorized dealers trying to make a buck. Im not okay with businesses operating under the Verizon name and then treating customers like this. Even if there was NOTHING he could do, you don't treat people like this. Have you every experienced such poor customer service that it ruins your day? Well, welcome to Verizon at the Broxton location in Westwood. I arrived at the store seeking assistance for a product that I purchased (at a Verizon store) under warranty. The store was empty except for two employees (male and female). The woman remained on her phone -- clearly immersed in personal activities on her phone. The male employee's interaction with me was apathetic at best. His interaction with me, for the most part, was a "nothing I can do" approach. I eventually suggested that I call Verizon's customer service and, perhaps, he can help/participate in the call. Again, the response had a "i can't be bothered; it won't help" tone. The other employee stayed on her phone (occasionally looking up when the male employee posed a question directly to her). It wasn't until that they noticed that I was getting aggravated and frustrated that one of the employees became a bit more engaged. If Verizon management is reading this post, please have employees at this location enrolled in a series of customer service courses. I left the store unsatisfied, with the issue unresolved. Neither one of the employees inquired about the call I completed (in their store) with Verizon customer service. As I exited, I waited at the door for some type of acknowledgement. Eventually, the one employee looked up from her phone and said (unconvincingly): "sorry." Based on this experience will I (obviously) not visit that location again, but I will also never give Verizon my business. read more

I entered the store, and the 2 employees did not greet or have smiles on their faces. They simply sat in their seats and waited for us to walk over and have a seat. This gives off the impression that they despise their job. The black lady who "helped" us had such an attitude. She was dismissive and didn't want to explain in detail our billing questions. While in the store, we had Verizon customer service on the phone and she became frustrated and angry because she had different answers than the person on the phone (who works for Verizon). Not to mention she had her iPhone propped up in-front of her computer and using it while she had customers sitting in front of her. So now we left the store, with $110 debited out of our account, our questions unresolved, money & time wasted, and day ruined because the lady was so rude. I walk in and the customer service agent just stares at me blankly. I ask if he could help me. He Responds with "I can't just drop everything right this second." There's a pillar in the way and I can't see he's with a customer. How bout "I'm with a customer right now, I can be with you in a moment." Holy crap who trains these people? It's like he was shocked he was getting another customer and was too flustered by it to want to help. I did a U-turn and walked right out the door. Congrats on losing any kind of commission you may have gotten as I was looking to bring my wife over to Verizon and get a new phone. They had one person helping a customer out while the "Assistant manager" stocked products for the entire 30 minutes I was waiting without even bothering to help. I tried to check in see if I would be helped within a certain time frame and the woman was very rude and stand offish, honestly did not seem like she cared. Someone else came in while I was waiting and the "assistant manager" said they would be helping him as soon as the store associate was finished with his current clients?? Completely ignored me waiting. Can anyone tell me why I waited over 30 minutes for a trained "assistant manager" to sit and stock screen protectors the entire time while I had an appointment to upgrade? Just don't. Terrible service a complete waste of my time, I was directed there by the Verizon customer service line, and went there to buy a new iPhone and trade my old one, then they told me I can just bring back my old phone to get a trade in value within 30 days, When I came back a few weeks later to turn it in they said I needed to reset the phone and they could not help me with that, so I did that at home and went again back to a Verizon store to turn in my old phone. This next Verizon rep (at different store because I refuse to go back to broxton store) said they forgot to process the tradein at the Broxton store as they we're supposed to do, so I had to either wait in line to have service member process the trade in or do it myself online. This has still not been resolved yet I really hope the process online is easy and it will take another trip to Verizon store yet again to get this saga resolved. Avoid Verizon, this location, the corporate office on Wilshire, as well as the customer service phone number (you'll end up on hold and transferred repeatedly for hours with no results) as much as possible. read more

If you can get the one person who knows what they're doing with two or fewer customers- which probably won't happen- you'll be okay. Otherwise, it's going to take a long time to get anything done bc they're not actually a Verizon store, and they will send you away to a Verizon corporate location for anything that's not signing you up for new service. In fact, they might even send you away with the equipment you need for the new service, but not sign you up for it, and then try to send you to a Verizon corporate store to return the equipment their store issued, but won't/can't activate or take back! I got an excellent customer service from Freddy. He was very patient and helpful with me who is such a tech nerd. Sometimes I had to wait for a while but it's okay. This store is located in the center of Westwood Village so I expect many people coming in. I go with plenty time. Even they are with customers as soon as I enter the store, they always greet friendly. While I was with Freddy, the other male stuff, David was picking up the phone very quickly and helping customer professionally. Both of them work very hard. While they were with customers and some minutes for wait processing, they helped others in the store. The customer service is very good.
