I dropped my phone in the bathtub like an idiot, and it completely died. Luckily, I had ordered the new iPhone as an upgrade and it was supposed to arrive the next day. It never did so. I ordered it again through Apple after canceling the order. I show up to Apple and I was having security issues with my account did not have access to a phone and was unable to get my phone. I called ATT Four times and talked to a different person each time for up to 20 minutes. When I initially walked into the store and it was my turn to speak with somebody, they told me there wasn't much they could do help. I would likely have to wait 24 hours to bypass some type of security issue with the account and I didn't have 24 hours because number one the government is shut down. I'm not getting paid and I've already spent so much money three times getting a phone online and I'm on call. I put my head down in the store and started bawling. And then Roger came to the rescue. Roger is the manager and Roger knows what he's doing. He actually cares about you. I never thought that at 33 years old that I would have a public crash out at a cell phone store, but I did. Roger bypassed the security knew exactly what to do in a matter of 10 minutes handed me an iPhone 17 turned it on how did everything transfer transferred. Helped me pay for it. Handed me a box of tissues and a glass of water. This man probably provides cell phones to Jesus I'm almost certain He has an instant swipe card into heaven. I promise you he does. I left the store with the iPhone, while Apple because I had to go to that store twice was blaming my cell phone carrier for all the issues instead of helping me. I just had to dog on apple for a minute because they're terrible. They're getting a review too. But Roger saved the day I had a case, A screen protector that they put on in the store for me, and a water bottle. Roger was mentally and emotionally more supportive to me than my own parents have ever been in my entire lifetime. And if corporate sees this, you better give Roger the fattest raise because not only did he take care of me, but he helped me facilitate caring for our soldiers

I've followed every single direction and troubleshooting aspect the AT&T people have asked me to do. They have completely given up on helping me because it's difficult. They don't want to provide me any other resources. And apparently wasting numerous hours of my day is completely and utterly acceptable. Not to mention, the other unprofessionalism, the store associates had. Now apparently not only do I need to waste more hours, figuring out how to get this fixed, based upon their mistakes.... that they assured were not mistakes, but I have to walk around with two phones, no way to use either device out of my house. And waste numerous hours of my life without any compensation whatsoever.

I flew to KPLU on a sunny Tuesday morning to have our club's Stratus S1 ADS-B unit checked over, as it's GPS functionality was bust. I had arranged to meet with Garry the service technician that morning. Upon arrival we spoke briefly about the symptoms we had experienced and he went right to work. Within a couple of hours all was up and running! While there I enjoyed an awesome breakfast at the restaurant next door, then browsed Spencer's Sales floor. I was amazed! It is in every sense a toy store for pilots!!! I bought a book about Mountain Flying by the late, great, Sparky Imeson and another book on flying techniques by famed author/pilot Barry Schiff. They have a quite an array of cool aviation gadgets, books, cleaning supplies, lubricants, headsets, charts and even an folding electric bicycle; very cool indeed! The staff is very friendly, professional and well versed in General Aviation; I fell in love with this place! Later, I met with Garry once again as I performed the pre-flight of the aircraft for departure. We chatted about general aviation and aviation events of the past and present, then said my goodbyes. As I took off, I recall thinking that Spencer is going to be one of my favored destinations for the remainder of my flying career. Garry is very good at what he does, he is a true professional.
