For the first time I wish I had a sixth star. Took my entire family to the store to convert all of our phones and open a Verizon account. We received immediate attention. Every element of our transaction was handled quickly by an employee named Cindy. She provided unbelievable customer service and appeared to have extensive technical knowledge. Even with an issue that arose following our transaction that we caused, she quickly resolved it on our behalf. We were so impressed! read more

We were on our way to have lunch when my wife told me she might need a new phone. We are dead, spot on at paying our phones off and I'm really looking forward to the bill being less so I'm none too pleased. Our lunch spot is right next door so we went there to ask if they are still under warranty. The dude is poking around on his tablet after giving him our number and says that we pay monthly for insurance. We continue to give him our story as about two minutes pass and he says "Your new phone should be there Monday". We were shocked! We've done the same thing on the landline several times and it takes thirty minutes. Happy dance! read more

Don't waste your time. 3 visits and no help. 1st time, said they had the phone I wanted in stock. Showed up, no stock. 2nd visit, 1 hour wait for help. Made an appointment for the next day. 3rd visit, I showed up on time only to wait a half hour anyway. They have a "I could care less" attitude. read more

I recently went in to this Verizon store to upgrade my phone. Cyndi assisted me with figuring out everything I needed to go with my new phone. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about each product. The General Manager even came over during the appointment to make sure everything was going well and if I had any additional questions. I was in and out and thrilled with my new purchase. In the future, I will refer back to the store if I have any questions about my phone. read more

I talked to one of them who pretty much told me he could not beat the price of the prepaid service I have now and when I left he made me feel as though I wasted HIS time! Just bought a new S10e, which I needed help down loading my information from my old phone to the new phone. Went into the store at around 5 pm on Friday and explained to the young lady I needed help with my new phone. She seemed very bothered that I was unable to do the task myself. She told me to dial 611 and get help from Verizon support. No luck there so I attempted to figure it out myself, with no luck. Returned to the store at about 2 pm on Sunday. Five employees standing around with no other customers in the store. Another young lady approached me and I explained the problems I was having setting up. She told me to take the phone home and hook a Samsung cable up to both phones and it will walk me through the steps to set up the phone. No steps shown. Verizon you must be very proud of your employees. No wonder no one was in the store on a Sunday at 2PM. Very, very, very poor customer service!!!!! The Best Buy employees (Folsom store) went out of there way to help me with my problem. I wish I could tell Verizon each month when my bill arrives to stick it where the sun does not shine, as they did to me after buying a phone from them. Stay away from this store. By far the worst customer service I have ever came across. No customer service at all!!! read more

Absolutely the biggest waste of time...... this particular store has no idea what customer service is. They gave me a defective IPhone and wouldn't replace it the next day.... even though there's a 14 day return policy? And who's held responsible? Their error became my insurance claim. Horrible sales clerk. Made me buy cases only because he said I would get full credit on my bill in the amount of 200.00..he lied to me to make a sale. never got any credit..the plan was also not what he said it would cost per month..its 98.00 more a month. I have complained and spent over 2 hours in the store waiting while multiple sales clerks try to figure out my bill...horrible liars!!! I should have stayed with ATT!! Jeremy at this location is amazing, a real miracle worker. At least he was in my situation w/ Verizon. I spoke with half a dozen Verizon reps over the course of a week and a half and every one refused to help me. Jeremy resolved the issue in a single phone call! Absolutely incredible. This store has the the absolute worst management I have ever come across. In honesty, I probably should blame myself, as I never should have purchased my equipment here to begin with. I work long hours, so had called earlier in the day to make an appointment to purchase a new iPhone in December. When I got there, things were so disorganized, I ended up waiting over an hour past my appointment time before anyone even talked to me. I should have left then. But no, not only did I sign a two year contract for the new phone, but also an iPad and accessories (the accessories being pushed on me by the manager Jamie, because apparently I hadn't spent enough already). If that had been the end of it, I would have forgiven and moved on, but the interactions I've now had with this manager are completely unacceptable. My new phone died Saturday - it was just over two months old -it was defective, and under warranty, and should have been replaced timely. I went in to the store Sunday and it shipped over night on Monday. It still is not here as of Thursday night. I do not have a land line, and do not have a job where I can make personal calls from work. So I have been without a phone, or ability to text message for five days. Jamie would not give me a loaner phone because they "didn't have one". Which really means she was unwilling to eat the profits on a crappy old flip phone, to keep a long tim customer happy. When today i realized it was going to be at least another day before I received my phone, I got a bit pushy for them to help meet my needs. I haven't been able to get in touch with my doctor due to this inconvenience, and it is having a negative affect on my life. Instead of doing anything to resolve the issue this was Jamie's response: 1) Well you could have taken it to the Apple Store - the Apple Store is over an hour away from my house or place of employment. And as a customer of Verizon, they should be helping me 2) She suggested that I could drive to the FedEx sorting facility in Sacramento to pick it up p, but then advised that it might not even be there - excuse me? If anyone should do that it should be a representative of Verizon. 3) She lied to me and told me the tracking info said it would be at the store the next day - I had the tracking number and it clearly showed delivery date unavailable 4) When I had finally had enough of her unwillingness to help, I requested a number for corporate to speak with someone higher up - she gave me a general automated 800 number in which I had to spend 10 minutes before I could even get a live person on the phone. and this was not anyone who had any ability to help I finally got to speak with a "supervisor" and I will say this, the taught Jamie Verizon policy well. Push the sale, and once the contract is sign, push them out the door. They give lip service to "wanting to help", but don't do a thing to actually do so. read more

They will flat out lie to you about their plans, just to get you into a contract. By the time you figure it out, the return date has expired and they just throw their hands up and say "i'm sorry, there's nothing I can do". I went into Verizon this afternoon to simply pay my bill and switch over to a different plan. I worked with Brandon today and he did it with ease, too bad that is all he seems to know how to do. First of all he asked to see my phone so I handed it over to him and he started downloading the my Verizon app without my permission and agreeing with terms and conditions of it without letting me read them over!? Then I had a few simple questions like how much my next bill will be, how much I would be saving and he couldn't even give me a straight answer let alone the courtesy to look me in the eyes when I was talking to him! Hell he didn't even introduce himself to me I had to ask his name as he was about to walk away from me! If I'm going to be spending my money at this store again I will NOT be working with him! And I recommend to anyone else who goes there to do the same! read more

Couldn't be worse, I'm disappointed I can't give them a negative rating. I phoned this store and cancelled service on an internet service. I kept getting billed. So I went down and was told I never cancelled. I told them I called directly to THIS store and one of their associates cancelled me and said it was all taken care of. This clown I was talking to said, in a raised voice, "You never called here". So what? You're calling me a liar? You think I'm making this up? Zero people skills! I'm in the sales business and I know to be good at your job you have to chose your words carefully and be diplomatic...these people don't get that. read more
