Great customer service working hard to help me leave AT&T. Specific callouts to Ashton and Faith and the Verizon rep we phone conferenced w/ to diagnose issues with AT&T. Apparently AT&T locks devices and even after you've paid they won't unlock the device. Took a lot of my time and Verizon folks' time to resolve this. Because of AT&T and had no phone service for more than 2 days. Even when I had "service" the performance in Portland was so bad I often couldn't reach my wife. Sometimes I need help when I'm shopping and it's frustrating to that with AT&T I couldn't contact her. Also awful AT&T reception all over NW Portland in popular areas like Slabtown and Wallace Park. Verizon by contrast has amazing network service and very high speeds. read more

First of all when I first got them I used my phone as a trade in they they ended up making me pay full price for my new phone we were new costumers BTW but their reasoning was that my device I sent them arrived a day late I sent it 1 week before it was due that was first issue with them second was recently we fell behind on bills and such because of Trump and loosing our food stamps for several weeks I have 2 kids 1 is mentally disabled and in preschool anyways I called customer service and told them that my phones screen wasn't working but I can't afford a replacement phone its a $100 deductible they said after I pay that they will take $100 off my bill we'll now they are saying they can't do that and our phones are now about to get shut off because they promised me something and now aren't able to fallow through and screwing me over. Why is it that people love to screw people over on the holidays? If I could say no stars I would. And on top of all this we pay almost $300 a month for 2 phone and half the time I have no service just walking around my apartment out of nowhere! The is not ok what they are doing! Both Portland and South Portland are full of employees that don't know how to help you or couldn't care less. They'll just jerk you around until you give up and leave. Worst customer service ever and frankly full of losers. It's worth the hour round trip to Biddeford to speak to the staff there. The Biddeford store actually has kind employees that are willing to help you and treat you like a person and customer rather than an annoyance. All of Verizon could learn something from the staff in Biddeford. read more

A salesman came by my to sell me Internet through Verizon. He said that Verizon had a low income plan, that would cost me approximately $30 a month for Internet. The salesman lied to LIED to me, and I had not yet started using Verizon, and I wanted to return my equipment, and cancel any new services. I spoke to numerous agents at Verizon company, trying to get the charges on my account , and I was told each time that they had taken care of the charges, and now eight months later, I get an email stating I have been sent to collections, and my credit score dropped over 100 points. Now, when I call Verizon, they say that they are unable to make any adjustments on my account, and that I need to pay $96. I have spent at least 10 hours on the phone with Verizon, and I feel like they were not honest with me. Verizon has assured me on several occasions, that they fixed these charges, and I would not have to worry about it again. LIARS!!!! read more

Our homes were not working properly. One had no service and the other was only getting calls and messages from the first phone's number, not it's own. Ashton figured out the problem in minutes and put new SIM cards into the phones and YAY! They are working great. Great service. read more

Dropped in to grab an upgrade the other day, was immediately greeted & helped by Antonio. Polite, cheerful & professional from start to finish. I have been a Verizon wireless customer for years and very satisfied. But something has happened. It is no impossible to get technical support. I have been having repeated instances on "no service" within the City of Portland, not olin remote areas. I had to wait 2 days for a call back from a technician after spending a long time in endless loops of their robot assistant "chats". The technician was helpful and ran tests on my phone. He also saud when this occurred to call immediately and gave me 2 numbers to call. It happened again this evening and I called both numbers. Again the endless robot assistant "chat" that goes nowhere. In the past Verizon was great about technical support at any time. But I guess corporate greed got in the way of providing a functional wireless system. All wireless should be a completely regulated public utility and not a machine for corporate greed. read more

This has to be one of the most useless Verizon store I have been in. We were shopping for new phone and tried the NW 23rd store since it was near. 5 "Verizon" people ( no customers) were just standing around talking. When we asked about phones, we get a response that they are only a self-serve store without any additional information about how we could get help on phones and service. After spending 4 hours spread out over 3 days, trying unsuccessfully to get T-Mobile to activate a data plan for my iPad, I gave up in total frustration. A friend suggested looking into a Verizon mobile hotspot, so I went to the Verizon Express on 11th Ave in the Gregory building. Luckily, they weren't busy, and I ended up getting set up with a very affordable hotspot and plan. As I was the only one in the store, I had the benefit of getting my questions answered by all three of the sales reps working that day. They set up the device, made sure it was working with my iphone, and went through the steps to change the name and password for the network. I was on my way with a working hotspot in less than thirty minutes. When I got back to my place, I did a speed check using my T-moble phone as a hotspot, which clocked in at a glacial 1.77 mbps, and basically unusable. The Verizon hotspot was literally more than ten times as fast, at 14.5 mbps. Thank you Tim, Sergio, and Faith! Excellent service! read more

Didn't know what they were doing, assigned phone number to wrong phone and made it my problem to set up phone, ask for credit and send old phone in. As a result had two hours the next day to assign numbers to correct devices. Should have gone to apple to begin with: fixed everything, processed refund (more than Verizon was offering) and took care of everything. read more

They sold me a piece of crap phone. I've been locked out of my account for almost a week now and they haven't helped me at all. I even filed a formal complaint with the BBB because i'm not getting the service i pay for. this company sucks and the employees at this shop are patronizing and unhelpful. i am going to be canceling my service. read more

I visited this store a couple weeks ago because I was having an issue with charging my iphone 10. A piece of my charger had broken off and was stuck inside of my phone, causing it to not charge at all. The guys there (Alex, Antonio, and Tim) were super helpful and friendly. Tim was able to fix the problem with my phone and didn't even charge me for it. They also helped me pick out a new charger more suitable to my needs. Im so glad that a Verizon store has finally opened close to where I live and I can easily walk to it. These guys are awesome, go visit them at the new store on NW 23rd. read more
