The wireless service is through the same towers as ATT, but for about half the cost. That cost differential comes up in their customer service. My blood pressure always rises when I call their customer service team. I don't want to bore the reader with too many details, but when I tried calling for confirmation of some details I was told to enter my 4- or 6-digit security code. I was flummoxed; I hadn't set a security code. Trying the usual codes I use, I was greeted with a system response that they couldn't find that code and to try again. After the 3rd or 4th iteration their VRU (voice response unit) finally told me I could say "I don't know it", which I did. When I finally got in and connected, their customer service agent said now we're going to set up a security code. I was annoyed that they modified their processes to require a security code without telling their customers. How hard would it have been to include a note in our bills that this change was coming and to be prepared the next time we called customer service? Doesn't anyone think about how these changes will affect their customers before those changes are implemented? If you never have to call their customer service team, you might be satisfied with their service.

The savings (I just discovered) is $1.00 a month. AARP is $16.00 a year. NO savings at all! 2) I just bought a new phone and a screen protector. The screen protector I received is flawed. They do not do refunds for those. I paid $21.00 for it - thinking they would have a higher quality product. I was wrong. Do not purchase this unless you go to astore and have them put it on before you purchase it and see that it works. I will not be giving them a good review going forward. I'm very disappointed. Shame on you Consumer Cellular.

I had the misfortune of dealing with a young, entitled employee who clearly had no interest in helping anyone. First, he refused to sell me the SIM because I didn't have a product number--something he could've easily looked up himself. Eventually, on my second visit, he magically found a product code that worked. Great, problem solved? Nope. Instead of just setting up the account correctly, this genius entered completely random information--fake name, fake email (1234@gmail.com), and no way to recover the account because it was a data-only plan (no text messaging). He literally sabotaged the setup, whether out of laziness or spite, I don't know. Either way, it locked me out of the account entirely. It took me three full days to get back in, dealing with AT&T's support to prove who I was, fix the mess, and finally get access. All because this employee couldn't be bothered to do the most basic part of his job. Honestly, I hope this waste of space got fired--or more likely, quit to crawl back to his parents' basement and play video games all day. Maybe by now he's cut his fingernails too, because watching him type made me sick to my stomach. Save yourself the hassle. Go to literally any other AT&T store. This one is a joke.

We had checked on our phones with the APPLE APP that stated that it was available for purchase and pick up at this location. The Guy proceeded to tell us that it was not available and ended with that. We said okay that's fine, and then asked if there were any MacBook Neo available and he stated yes and to go over to the "order pick up table". My fiancé and I arrived to the table and saw a team member kind of slouched over the table and when we approached her she stated are you here to pick up an order? We said no and then she said well who sent you over here? I said the guy that greeted us in the front. Already- I am annoyed, cause 1. WHY are you annoyed? 2. The whole time we were talking, she was slouched over ( in a lazy way), she was not making any eye contact with us at all! I was the one that was purchasing the MacBook Neo, but she would ask questions or talked to my fiancé instead, like she did not even acknowledge that I was there. He also stated to her that I was the one that is buying it and to redirect her questions to me. 2 more people arrived at the table for pick up but she seemed annoyed. Her mannerisms and attitude was very below average. She spoke very low and I had to lean into her to and ask her to repeat herself which just made her more annoyed. The other gentleman that had arrived maybe 20 minutes after us later then asked if she can get another person to the table to assist them and that is when she went over and grabbed " Jake" to come and assist. Jake was pleasant and kind and was able to answer all of our questions and gave us reassurance and was able to assist us with placing an order for a Mac mini. If it wasn't for Jake, I would have said F this and drove to another location that is out of my way. The team member that was at that table I later found out by her name tag was " Ivy". There was no introduction no nothing just " Who sent you here". Like TF? She was also wearing a mask which okay cool but with her speaking low it made it difficult to hear and understand her while slouched over the table the whole damn time! very not approachable! Honestly, we came here to purchase some items from Apple, and yet members of this team made it so difficult to communicate and buy, like it was a burden that we are in there spending hundreds of dollars. I am so surprised that this location is nice, so you expect that the customer service was also going to be nice as well but ended up being trashy attitudes when it comes to purchasing an item. Out of the 3 people from that location, 1 was nice, attentive and actually showed that he cared about the items we were buying. So Jake, thank you so much for that day, but after that I think I rather go to another Apple Store-for sure if you come here you will leave frustrated. -2/10

We immediately saved around $250 a year by switching to the 55+ program currently being offered by T-Mobile. We took advantage of having our car set up for broadband access with t-Mobile's sync hardware. The store manager, Akash immediately set up the hardware and associated software in our car and on my iPhone. He was extremely positive and super knowledgeable, plus an all-around good chap! In addition to basic roadside assistance, one of the benefits of the sync hardware is that you immediately receive recall and service notifications about your car. One of the service notifications we received when the system went active dealt with a particular issue that we had been having with our car and had been unable to pinpoint the exact problem. Because of this feature we now have a solution! Overall, a very positive experience with the crew at this t-Mobile location. We were also fortunate to have the Portland area marketing manager present at the store when we signed up for T-Mobile service. His name is Drake and he was totally awesome!! READ THIS FIRST IF YOU'RE HAVING ISSUES WITH FIBERSPHERE:…read more From an insider, here's how it works at Goobersphere. If you've attempted all of the suggestions that they give you on the phone: 1. Don't expect them to call you back within 24-48 hours if they say they will. They have zero intention to. They never ever will. 2. If they say they will "escalate" it to someone at a higher position with more knowledge this is also a complete lie. They are trained to say that, but it means absolutely nothing. They all work in the same place with the same rank and knowledge. 3. If they tell you to call back within a few hours they are just pawning you off to the next person on the next shift. Again there is no other higher qualified folk there that can help. So what do you do after all of that nonsense? If you try all of the suggestions they have and they don't work, request for a technician. What he did only cost 25 bucks (cash, lol). If they refuse like they did with us a few times, then wait about 8 hours until the next shift and request it from the next employee. I hope this saves someone the countless hours we wasted the last month. Now this (below) was my review before learning the info above (although it was pretty obvious to begin with): This is my first time using Fibersphere. We're at almost three weeks and counting and still no internet. They have a handful of questions they ask us to try each time and then say "we will have someone call you within 24-48 hours" and they never do. We are in a endless cycle of spending about 45 minutes every day to fix this. We rely on internet daily for our jobs so this has been pretty not so convenient. No one ever of course uses Comcast or Centrilink nor Fibersphere because they actually want to. They use it because the options are limited. CEO's of internet provider companies should be in jail. How about instead of buying extra yachts you pay your employees better and train them so that they can actually fix things? No excuse for something like this to take three weeks...

I called the first day and was informed it would be fixed within 24 hours. Called the second day, and I was put on hold for over an hour and then lost connection. Called back, and I was informed it would take up to 72 hours. Called after 72 hours, and I was informed I would receive a call from a technician that same day. No one called. I called again on Monday (day 5) and then I was informed they would dispatch a technician on day 6. I had to leave work early to make sure I could make the appointment. No one showed up, no one contacted me, I check the internet and it's fixed. Besides that horribly frustrating experience, the internet actually works fine for the most part, except when I lose lots of data packets occasionally. The customer support reps were very friendly. The problem is that it's impossible to get in touch with a technician with the authority/capabilities to repair the issue.
