    Multiple "set up and go" fees even though I did the set up myself

    Avoid working with Quintin and Devon. My boyfriend and I visited this location a week ago to inquire about trade-ins. At first Quintin seemed genuine and helpful as he brought out iPhones of different models and wrote down how much each model would cost after the trade-in. The promotion was really good that we both decided to trade in our phones. Never once had he mentioned he would change our plans that charged more than our current plans. When we found out what he had done, we contacted Quintin and actually got a text from him admitting that he misquoted us and that he would contact his store and regional managers to "fix this." Couple days went by without any words from Quintin nor the store, so my boyfriend called the store and spoke with Devon, the assistant manager. Devon promised my boyfriend he'd change the plan back to the original plan and my boyfriend could pick up the new iPhone only at the Verizon store in Frahimington, which was a 45-minute drive. My boyfriend made an appointment and made the trip to the store, but the employee had no idea what was going on and could not help my boyfriend, and he still has yet to see the change in the plan. When I found out that Quintin changed my plan and tried to resolve the issue with a customer care representative, I was told that I wasn't allowed to get a new phone let alone change the plans without the primary account holder's permission. Every time I called this location and asked a representative to get me through the store, they said they weren't able to reach the store and that they would leave a message for me to get a call back. Of course I never got a call back. Fed up with the unkept promises, I visited the store on Thursday and spent 2 hours trying to resolve the issue; however, the problem could not be resolved without a manager. Darius called Devon on his personal cell so I could talk to him, but all Devon said was that he had to "investigate" and would call me back over the weekend. He had already spoken with my boyfriend, so there was nothing else to investigate, and I never received a call from Devon even though I left a message to get a call back. When I upgraded my phone, I told Quintin that I wanted to make a one-time payment so I wouldn't be charged monthly for it, but I was still getting monthly charges. Then I checked the receipt and it had 5 quantities of "set up and go service smartphone" and nothing about me paying for the upgrade. On top of this questionable receipt, Quintin never even helped me set up my new phone because I already knew how to do it and told him I was gonna do it at home. My boyfriend and I treated Quintin and Devon with nothing but respect, but that respect was never reciprocated by either employees. Quintin went against the company's policy for his own gain, and Devon made false promises without resolving any issues. If these problems do not get resolved soon, Verizon will lose their valued customers of ~19 years and Quintin and Devon will be the reason for it.

In April 2025, I went to the store to upgrade four iPhone 12 minis to new iPhones. I specifically showed our salesperson, Brandon, the phones we were trading in, and he clearly stated that the quoted promotional pricing would apply to the devices we brought in. He told us we would pay $0/month for each iPhone 16 and $5.99/month for each iPhone 16 Pro under the trade-in program. We trusted him and made our purchasing decisions based on that information. However, when the first bill arrived, the pricing was much higher than quoted. It was only after we returned to the store to trade in our old phones that we were told the offer was not valid for iPhone 12 minis - only the iPhone 12 - something Brandon never disclosed at the time of sale, despite being shown the phones directly. This amounts to a $2,000 discrepancy over the life of the contract. When we raised the issue, Brandon denied the miscommunication, and the store manager, Tyrone, defended him without seriously engaging with our concerns. They essentially shrugged off a serious breach of trust. We're have since returned the phones and switched negative our service to a competitor. I've never written a public review before, but I felt this one was necessary. If you value transparent communication and honest pricing, be extremely cautious at this location.

With all the COVID stuff going on, we anticipated a wait, which was fine. When we walked in, we were the only 2 people in the store and immediately helped! The whole process was so quick and efficient! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes both with new iPhones! Huge shoutout to Tyler for being knowledgeable, quick, and so nice! He even noticed something on my moms account and was able to point out that she could get a better rate with her phone insurance. Thank you for making our experience a great one!

At this location, they were extremely busy, but a worker still approached us and greeted us then asked us what they could do for us that day. Once we told them we were just there for a SIM card, they explained they had a waiting list, but our request was quick and simple. So while his customer was busy picking out a new phone, he programmed a new SIM, placed it into my wife's phone, and off we went. No issues since. But the real golden nugget was the customer service we received! I will continue to drive out of my way and get my service from this location from now on.

That wasn't my intention, my intention was to show him that this is a feature that should be working and is not working and that I needed to have it fixed. He continued being very rude and kept telling me that he's the expert not me. He doesn't know that I've been an IT specialist since he was born. I will not patronize a store that employs such rude representative. As customers we pay for their salaries and commissions. I have reported this behavior.

    I was worried about coming to this location because 1. it's my current carrier servicer, 2. it had…read morescary reviews, and 3. the unpleasant reviews. I did see Kari's review about the new management and to give this place a shot. I wanted to upgrade my phone from a 6S to the 8S Plus. Reese was the one (and only) representative to help me out with my upgrade request. I gave him the information that I needed and what I wanted to do. He did state that they did have 8S Plus phone available in the back, but when I confirmed the amount of Gigs that I wanted, he confirmed that they only had 64g. I requested for the 256G and he was glad to help me with that process. Got every ordered and told me that my phone was going to get mailed within the next week. Told me the monthly payments for different payment plans. I left with the understanding of what to expect on the upcoming bill. After getting my phone in the mail, (being impatient like many of us) but I wanted to get my new synced with the old. I easily called that location and was assisted by a lovely lady (didn't catch her name). Very sweet and funny, especially with explaining apple's syncing ability. Overall, very easy and pleasant transaction and experience. I would suggest giving this place a shot again for those who didn't have a good experience prior to the new manager.

Maria, was extremely polite and acknowledged my mother, and I when we walked in. She mentioned she was there by herself, but she would be with us momentarily. Maria helped us within 20 minutes, and also Acknowledged every person who came in while she was working with somebody. Her manager, was sitting in the parking lot waiting for his shift to start. Maria took her time with us, and went above and beyond to assist my mother and I with upgrading our phones. While we were sitting there, another customer who also came from the short pump, location stated that they also left the short pump location because they had no phones at their location. Why does it seem as though the corporate location only has phones for new customers, but not for those who are looking to upgrade their phones? It is only because of Maria at this location that my mother and I are still AT&T customers. We were very close to heading to Verizon.
