After dealing with a nightmare directly from an electronics manufacturer, I canceled my order and went to PC Richards online. I ordered a different brand washing machine on Wednesday, and here it is Friday and it was delivered. Their delivery service is night and day from the previous company. I received no less than 4 emails reminding me of delivery, and a phone call yesterday. I received an email around 7pm last night giving me my time window which was 7am-10am and the drivers would call me 1/2 hour before arrival. 6:42am (ugh!) I get a phone call, we are on our way be there in 20-30 minutes. The driver and assistant show up, take a look at the space and get to work. They quickly loaded in my new washer, loaded out the old one and were on their way within 15-20 minutes. They were super professional, and friendly. Four stars reason:- when I was called yesterday I wasn't available to answer the phone so I called the number back. I said to the woman who answered (and she answered like she was annoyed), I'm returning a call from this number, she grunted at me and put me back into the phone tree. I hung up, called back, got someone else who was equally as annoyed-sounding and she said yeah they're just calling to remind you of your delivery. Later in the afternoon I get another call, a foreign sounding gentleman who was very nice- but you could tell he was reading from the script. I asked him if they're coming early does that mean they will call me before 7am? He said no we would never call you before 7am. Just in case last night I took my phone off "do not disturb" before I went to sleep - guess what they called me at 6:45am. Also, my washer got a small scrape on it when they delivered it- but it's really not their fault, it was a tight fit, they were as careful as they could be getting it into a basement- and it's just a washer, not a new car so I'm not going to make a stink about it. I haven't hooked up and used the washer (they did offer to hook it up- but I'm good with that stuff so Ill do it myself). They wouldn't have been able to anyhow since the drain hose is too short- All in all a pleasant experience so far.

The staff I interacted with tried to be helpful, but the management was unprofessional, dismissive, and seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility than resolving customer concerns. Communication was poor, and when I asked for assistance with an issue, I felt like I was being brushed off instead of treated like a valued customer. A situation that could have been handled quickly turned into a frustrating experience because of the lack of accountability and customer service from management.
