We purchased my phone online and went to pick it up after it arrived. The staff and manager Tristan were rude and refused to let me pick it up. We spent over an hour arguing with them to pick up the phone we already paid for. They would keep walking away when I was on the phone with customer service. My experience was terrible and the store refused to let me pick up my phone. They made me upgrade a second line and pay again to pick up the phone we already paid for... likely so they get the phone sale commission (instead of it being an online purchase). Shady. bought a 6-S because my 5 was acting freaky. they told me I'd pay 150$ out the door. I thought that was too much, so told them I'd think about it. Suddenly the price dropped 50 bucks. Got home and discovered they charged me 30$ for the phone case I was told was free, and also $30 for a fancy phone charger I never saw or asked for. Had to return the next day to get credited. Well, my LG Dare crapped out at an inopportune time and I had to go in during the July 4th weekend. Not fun. I was pissed. But it's not necessarily the sales peoples faults since they don't make the phone and I tried to go in there as temper free as possible, which wasn't all that temper free. Happy to say that Sergio and the store manager who helped me (wish I could remember his name) were courteous, explained my options and happy to set me up with a new BlackBerry versus a my crappy LG Dare. We have had nothing but disappoint with this store. We had poor customer service when my wife and I bought new phones. And was definitely not happy with the $40 upgrade fee for each phone. Then I get a mystery bill for $95. I had cancelled my plan and gone on to my wife's plan and for being a loyal customer to Verizon I get charged $95 for a tablet I never use and Hum. I go in and ask to speak with a manager and all they tell me is dial 611 and talk to them. What is the point of having a store of you are not going to help your customers. And while I am in there raising hell because I feel I was ripped off all the employees just played on their phones and no manager helped. I lost years of memories, pictures and videos, because of this app. I had an account with verizon cloud and after switching providers, I was never even advised on the policy. APPARENTLY after 30 days of moving to a new provider, your cloud account gets deleted PERMANENTLY. Terrible customer service. I walk in the store at 630pm and there's one employee with a customer. I stood there for 15 minutes and she never once acknowledged me or called another employee from the back to help me. I bought the iphone 6s plus on 7/7/16. ten days later it breaks and wouldn't even turn on. The store was full of people and only had 3 out of maybe the 7 employees in the store actually working. I then turn to the employee melody asked her for the employees name she became disgusting we foul rude as well. I told him they had no right to talk like that to customers when I just had questions about phones I didn't know. They seemed real lazy and like they hated their job these people should not work here they should be terminated immediately. People like these two are making the world is what it is today. I don't know why this place has some bad ratings, I really liked my service here compared to some of the other Verizon stores I've been to. I was greeted by all the workers immediately when I entered the store. I came in with a prepaid phone I got from Wal-mart trying to activate it until my contract ended on an iPhone I had dropped in the toilet. The employee Isaac really tried any way he could to help me out by offering me a deal on buying a tablet and getting an iPhone 5s for free to even trying to ask her manager what deal he could offer me if I ended my contract early. My Droid Bionic began restarting on its own, then finally, when I'd start it, the Evil Red Eye showed yet it never surpassed that. I took my phone in on 2/14 and was instructed to try a factory reset. It didn't help. I was eligible for a free upgrade (by two weeks), so did some comparisons online. I returned last Friday, 2/21 and was given the BEST customer service ever by Judith and her Manager, Karla! I chose the Droid MAXX. Even though I was there a couple of hours, they hooked me up with two phone cases, a Jetpack and a Morphie juice pack power station! The small counter we sat at was overflowing with selections/ goodies for me. It felt like Christmas! She changed my plan, as I don't need unlimited anything anymore. I have been a Verizon Wireless customer since 1997, and plan on remaining a loyal customer. I am in love with my new Droid and am still working on what exactly my "throw ins" do. Worst Verizon experience ever!! There were two gentlemen who absolutely refused to assist or even answer any questions as soon as I walked in! They just pointed to a kiosk in the corner of the store and said I'm only allowed to use that machine for help, or I could go on their website. I asked basic questions like the different data options and they said they can't discuss it but only refer me to the website. Since my phone got jammed in my car door and was totally broken, I couldn't go to the website so I tried their in-store kiosk. I didn't know how to get past one of the screens on the kiosk, so I asked for help. The employee literally told me he's "not allowed" to answer questions. So I asked him to let the manager know I needed help. He walked over to him, they whispered to each other and then the manager just continued to work on his computer. I thought maybe he needed to finish something before coming to help, but after 10 minutes of waiting I realized he was also refusing to help. It was the weirdest and most horrible experience at a store. I just walked out and went to the Mission Valley store where they were "allowed" to answer questions LOL. read more

Again and again she said it would. Not 5 minutes after a agreed to the new plan, I received a bill saying that my new monthly bill would be $10 more!!!!!!! So I called back and supposedly change things back to my original plan and now they are charging me for that. Who is this Shannel S.? Is outright lying to customers rewarded by Verizon? Am I paying a commission to this person who repeatedly lied to me about the Verizon service plan?. Any attorneys out there? Sign me up for class action suite. I came in to pick up my Note 8 and the customer service couldn't have been better. Starting with Matthew, he made me feel right at home and greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. Although my Note 8 was not ready for pick up yet, Matt made sure to routinely check in and made sure I was okay. He constantly checked his tablet to make sure as soon as my order was ready for pick up he would get me started. His efforts were certainly appreciated and he made me feel as if I was the only one in the store when they were certainly busy. As soon as my order was ready I was lucky enough to be assisted by Judy who was a pleasure to work. She did not rush through the transaction even though she was supposed to go on a lunch. Instead of taking off and leaving Matt behind (who I'm sure would have been more than capable) she made sure her customers were a priority and gave excellent service in the process. Both her and Matt were very knowledgeable about their products and I would like to thank them for their time. People like them are the reason why I return to this location. Thank you. read more

I purchased an iPhone at a different location and made some changes to my Verizon account. I decided to exchange that iPhone for a different one at this location the next day. The lady said that I needed to do a full return, and then re purchase the phone I wanted. When I asked to see the breakdown of what I was being refunded and what I was going to pay, I realized that they were charging me for the $40 upgrade fee, which I already paid the day before. I explained this and she was super combative. She basically said the person at the first store didn't process the transactions correctly and she couldn't do anything. I would have to pay the $40 again due to VERIZONS mistake. She also basically told me to leave since it was 6:45 and they closed at 7. So unpleasant. I called Verizon customer service and they immediately put a $40 credit on my account. Easy. I returned to this store today and John helped me. He was super helpful and apologetic, and called verizon customer service for me to help me out. Basically, the first woman was WRONG and telling me I had to pay. She blamed the other Verizon store and told me she "would've done it the right way but it was too late". All she cared about was getting me to leave. Thanks Verizon for selling me a phone that does not work nor the 4 + replacement HTC Thunder Bolts you claim went through 100 point inspections, All of which have issues right out of the box! I have done everything you have asked. Yet I can't understand why I should have to buy another phone and accessories. It's not like I'm asking for free stuff all I'm asking is for a store credit so I can get a phone that works. Over a year of dealing with this is very tiresome. Before this phone I dealt with another phone your company claimed as the Best LOL Yep you guessed it the Storm! I believe I had over 15 replacement phones. My phone is used for business so it is really a bad thing when it locks up when trying to answer phone calls, emails. The only way to get it to unlock is by pulling out my battery to reboot the phone. Which I do anyway at least twice a day as the battery life on this phone is horrible. So this is their solution........send out yet another ThunderBolt or let then choose my replacement phone that my 4 extended batteries, docking station & case does not work for. or they will let me do an early up grade which is basically buying a new phone and all new accessories.......... with taxes that basically $300 for the phone and another $250 to $300 wasted on accessories.... Please explain to me again how this is giving me a good deal and going above and beyond to take care of me........ I'm starting to think all my phones born on dates where ether Monday (I'm so hung over so don't care about quality) or Friday at 430ish (WOOOO WHO WHERE'S THE PARTY AT) or end of the month (come on guys we can knock out an extra 1000 phones and worry later if any or all of them come back, if they do well just send them out a refurnished phone AKA someone else's broken pieces of $hit) Verizon's policy..............and how it really works. we will exchange your phone out in 14 days one time for a new one. After that we will only send you out refurbished phones ( wiped off no really tested for problems) until you give up and agree to an up grade or just except reality that this is how it's going to be until your contract runs out or you pay for an early up grade. or what was offered in my case the phone they said they would swap out for was a down grade 3g instead of 4g from what I had bought. or after talking so everyone could hear in a store full of people they offered to swap me straight across for a razor. Ok sounds good until I found out the thing also has really bad battery problems just like my HTC Thunder Bolt Chicken. So I have two choices one to always be around a charger or two buy and carry a mobile charger the size of another phone. Hmmmmmmm they have a Razor Max that has the same battery life as mine with the extended batteries I had to already purchase. But will not give me or even let me pay a little bit more. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. My phone doesn't work at all, can't text, can't send emails, nothing. Went in two weeks before my contract was over seeing what we could do. They tried to scam me into getting a bundle with a tablet, and told me I can either get a tablet with my phone, or pay 800 dollars up front. We called corporate, and they told us that is NOT how it works and Verizon doesn't try to force customers to get a tablet with their new phones. Corporate apologized numerous times for how AWFUL this location is and gave us a new phone with no problems at all. Long story short, don't come here, they're scammers. This review is more about VZW as a whole than it is about this store; however, I gave this store a chance to keep me as a customer and they gave me the look of "no fucks given". I've been with Verizon since '00 and I was getting sick of all their business practices that are aimed at sucking every penny out of you as possible. I had recently bought a Google Nexus 5 and wanted to add it to their network and they just wouldn't do it. I believe it mostly had to do with a political issue (read: Google won't let VZW gut the phone and add their junkware) between VZW and Google so VZW won't "certify" the phone to be on their network. I was sick of being stuck between corporate pissing contents, all of which never benefits the customer. Verizon just wants you to buy their "certified" phones so you can lock yourself into 2-year contract. I gave this store one last chance to keep me as a customer. The rep didn't even recognize the Nexus 5 so he attempted to go through the entire rigmarole of adding it to their system. He got to the point of adding the IMEI number and it failed. He couldn't figure out why it wouldn't take. I finally had to tell him that the phone wasn't certified to be on their network. At which point I told him if he couldn't figure out how to add it then I'll be cancelling my service. He just looked at me like he didn't care, so I walked out and cancelled my service. Immediately went over to T-Mobile and signed up for a no-contract mobile plan that costs me $40 less than Verizon's. And I get free unlimited data in over 120+ countries and growing, free wi-fi calls back to the states when traveling and 5GB of tethering every month. read more

The guy behind the counter helped me right away but told me that this specific location can't help me on this issue as it's a "partner" store. The woman who greeted us accessed our account and said a rep would be right with us. In a few minutes Stephanie was there to help. To make a long story short she spent all the time that was needed (and more) to get us the phones we wanted; we knew in advance. She explained the hows and whys about the new phones, she transferred all the info we wanted from old to new. She helped us install accessories and apps, email accounts and files (pictures and contacts). Stephanie was gracious and friendly, informative and funny.
