The night before I went to Cabo, I called Verizon to make sure that I had an international calling plan so I didn't have to pay $12/day to use my cell phone in Mexico. The representative was really nice and he said it was free with my plan. He also told me that I was overpaying and said that he was going to change my monthly to $30 less. When I got my Verizon bill today was $30 more. Now I have to call again tomorrow and spend another hour on the phone with them. Fun times! read more

Be wary of this place! Peter, the associate, tells us we can buy the phone outright. Phone is practically in our hands when he says, "no wait it works like this. You put a deposit down first, then in 30 days can come back and pay for it in full." What a bait and switch! They just want to take your money, earn interest on the phone for a month and then you have to remember and return to purchase it in full. Problem is, this is a retailer and not a Verizon store. They sold me a defective jetpack, tried to say I owed 50.00 for a restocking fee ON A BROKEN jetpack and then didn't disconnect the line when the return was finally processed after a several hour battle with the sales associate. I asked for a manager and the associate said he "wasn't going to bother him with this" and finally a manager got involved after demanding to have it addressed. So now I'm at the actual Verizon store and they are having to try and fix the improper return and disconnect the line they didn't do properly. An employee named Rick was helping customers ahead of me. He impressed me immedately--he was so patient and thorough, making sure no one left until their issue was completely resolved. When it was my turn, he showed the same dedication and kindness, working through my problem until it was fixed. He was amazing! He mentioned that he usually works at the Mission Viejo Mall location but hopes to transfer to San Juan Capistrano---I really hope he does. read more

We tried their internet. It was terrible so we canceled. Then two months after cancellation they took $200 from our bank for recapture of a discount given to sign up. This was never disclosed to us upfront. I had to drive to the Lake Forest store to complete the cancellation. I had to mail back their router instead of dropping it off at the store where we got it. There is literally no way to talk to a live person for customer service. A total rip off and waste of time. read more

I have been a Verizon Customer for I think almost 7 years and my parents for way longer. I recently came in on Black friday (11/28/25) to upgrade my iPhone 15 Pro Max to an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Carina helped me with that. They were unfortunately out of the colour and GBS size I wanted (deep blue in 256gbs) (but I expected that since it was black friday and it was mid afternoon). I ordered it since i didnt need it immediately and Carina said i could trade in my phone when it came in a week later. I am writing this the day before the estimated delivery date, but I wanted to say my experience so far has been amazing. I did get a text from verizon stating my phone was getting delived to my house and not the store, I called them and I guess it says that for every phone, but it gets delivered to the store anyway (The tracking link is of the phone from apple to the verizon store). Carina also helped my grandma swap her cellular from her old apple watch to her new apple watch which was awesome (after being told they couldnt by an agent (not from this store) over the phone). Overall I would recommend this Verizon store in SJC and if you're looking to upgrade your phone, they have really good black friday deals! I just had to add another line to my plan (it was like an exta dollar a month since I have the Unlimited Ultimate Plan (+tax and activation) and had to keep the plan for 36 months for the deal to work). For the price of a brand new iPhone (17 pro max), this is DEFINITELY worth it! read more

Whoa whoa whoa! Hold up! 0 stars for an absolutely ridiculous store policy! They wanted to charge me $299 to upgrade my phone (yes you read that right) , which would've included transferring my old phone data, plus a case, screen protector and charger. LOL!! This store owner is absolutely out of their mind! I don't recall being so absurdly taken aback in recent memory, or perhaps ever. I know they need to make money and I would've been fine paying $50 or maybe even considered $100 for the convenience of getting the phone right then, but give me a break..$300... that's like half the price of a new phone. Needless to say I left immediately. I just bought my phone on Amazon, who also even gave me a $200 gift card. Thats a $500 win right there. 5 stars though to the sales reps at this location: Issau (?) and Romo. They greeted me immediately, apologized probably 6+ times for being busy with other customers (not their fault), multi-tasked and started my process while finishing up other customers, and were transparent about the above mentioned fee. Unprofessional-I went in for an In-store pick up after placing an order online. Turns out (according to the employee-can't remember his name) that they cancel online orders in order for customers to walk in and get their commission. He asked me if I spoke Spanish and I said yes, I realized he spoke in Spanish so the English speakers wouldn't understand the shady policy they have about canceling online orders so they can get their commission by in store customers. He wanted me to apply all over again and pay ANOTHER $93 to get a device that I had already paid for. I was in for an iPhone 15 pro max and as I see in store customers get their new phone, the manager proceeded to tell the rep that was helping me, that they were all out of Pro Max models, when in reality, the girl working there is coming out with pro max's for other customers. It's unfair that I purchased a phone online and them canceling it just to benefit them. Dude proceeded to walk away and say "now if you don't mind, I got other customers to help" all because I didn't want to apply. read more

I switch cell phone companies. I purchased 4 brand new phones. Jacob said he would give me $2.000 credit if we traded our 4 phones so we did. When it came time to pay he said we have to buy $200 accessories per phone but I told him that I did not have the money to do that.,Then he told me a few minutes later that he wouldn't be able to give me the $2.000 credit but only $1,200 credit because we weren't buying any accessories. This store sucks and ASHLEY is horrible! Went in because my SIM card was messed up. There was an older war vet there before us and she was so mean and rude to him. She refused to help and and told him call 611 and have them help you, log on to the app and do it on there. He didn't know how and he asked for help she just ignored him. He got so upset and left, felt so bad for him. At the same time she was telling me to do the same thing while 2 other customs came and left upset because she refused to help him. She had us call 611 and explain to the lady on the phone what we needed while she (in the store) was completely ignoring us and refusing to help. We were the last people there and a man came in to buy a new phone. She dropped us immediately and went to work with him. After an hour in a half I asked her to please help us, we've been waiting for 1.5 hours and have gotten nowhere. She started yelling at us, telling me she's not going to help me if I talk to her like that (like what???) Worst service I have ever received anywhere! I was hesitant to switch because I always had excellent customer service from T-Mobile, but Ivan and Peter at this location were extremely helpful and provided a ton of insight on the phones, active promotions, and plans available, helping me choose the right option for myself and my family. My watch broke and i asked if i had insurance, they told me to reset the factory settings and I should be able to figure it out. Zero actual help! I found a verizon phone in the street outside the house, locked but working, no ICE contact number. Looked up what to do on the internet, which claimed that if it was returned to the nearest verizon store the would be able to get it back to the owner. Called Verizon and they confirmed this, and told me the nearest store. Drove there, and the rude jerk said it was locked, not his problem I would have to decide what to do with it and get it out of his store. Wasted time and gas trying to do what Verizon said, so now It will just go in ewaste unless I can find another method! (update) Turns out that taking the sim card out of the phone and inserting it in a similar phone will show the phone number. I called the number and the owner had already purchased a new phone with his old number. Got his old phone back to him and he was going to return the expensive phone that this same store had sold him yesterday. Too bad it was so difficult for the Verizon store to know that this technique could give a phone number and that they could look up his account and get him his phone back - or maybe it was just easier to sell new phones? read more

But there are supposed to be ways around that, I did them all and it kept looping me around to my email and password. So I said f-it, I'm gonna return it. Only 10 days passed so I was within policy parameters. Stay away from this store. I would give 0 if i could. The owner never opened the store and he said he was helping other customers but i was outside his store waiting for an hour. The store next him said he went out long time ago. I made verizon customer service called him and he said he went for lunch. Who goes to lunch from 3-5 since it said it was in service hour. If you cancel your order with verizon, you have to pay $50 service fee and this guy would not cancel your order for you. So don't buy from this store to save your money and time. read more

Zero Stars for this location. It's not an actual Verizon, just an authorized brick and mortar scam artist location. They are there to lie to you and make as much money as possible off you. I was just there to get a new phone. I was not told there was a $25 charge to get my new phone updated that I could have done myself at home. I was not asked if I wanted a liquid glass applied to my phone for $64.99. I thought the employee was cleaning my new phone. I saw the charge on my bill later. The manager claimed I was getting a free phone cover and glass protector. I was in a hurry and realized the employee had also added a phone cord that I didn't ask for and got charged for that as well. Bottom line. Ask for a print out of what you're getting charged for before signing anything. Also, go to an actual Verizon location like I should have in the first place. read more
