    **Review for Connor at Verizon** I am compelled to share my experience with Connor, the most deceitful, unprofessional, and rude salesman at Verizon. His behavior left me feeling threatened simply for expressing my concerns about customer service, and as a result, my husband and I are now considering switching to T-Mobile. We walked into the store as existing customers on November 13th to upgrade to the new iPhone 16s and requested a monthly quote. The manager assured us that Connor, a short salesman with a light complexion, would take good care of us. We were upfront about our budget and mentioned that if Verizon's prices were too high, we would be inclined to switch to T-Mobile, which was offering a much better deal. After receiving a quote, we initially chose to stay with Verizon, but then the negative experiences began: 1. **Discount Renewal**: We had to remind Connor to apply our teacher discount--he never asked or offered any assistance despite how important pricing was to us. 2. **Misinformation on Stock**: When it came time to upgrade, Connor claimed, "NO STORE HAS IPHONES IN STOCK." He insisted that no Verizon store keeps iPhones in stock to avoid backorders, leading us to believe we had no choice but to order them for shipment. We didn't check other stores, trusting him completely, which turned out to be a huge mistake. He LIED to make a sale. 3. **Delayed Shipment**: Connor guaranteed that our shipment would take a maximum of two days, but it took five. 4. **Missed Promotions**: He didn't mention any promotions, including the free Apple Watch with a new line purchase, which we later found out about at a different Verizon store in San Pedro. There, the saleswoman informed us that Connor had lied--there were plenty of iPhones in stock, and we could have had our phones that same night. We were furious. When our iPhones finally arrived, one had a broken seal. I called customer service, who said I could return it at the store for a full refund with no problems. When we went back, Connor was again our salesman and tried to charge us almost $80 in restocking fees for something that was not our fault. After explaining the situation, he spoke to his manager and offered an exchange for a fully sealed iPhone but refused to let us return it. When I expressed that I didn't want to wait for another shipment, he suddenly said, "oh now we have them in stock." How convenient! At this point, I turned to my husband and said, "that is the crappiest management I've ever seen." Connor abruptly stopped what he was doing and confronted me, saying, "OH WE ARE NOT GONNA GO THERE. I will not allow you to talk about my friend that way." He refused service to us and then walked away. His manager had to step in and finish the job!! He had the audacity to bud into my PRIVATE conversation with my husband, making it personal when I was only voicing my opinion about the management. The conversation was not ABOUT him nor WITH him. He then went off on my husband, who had been quiet the entire time, leading to a tense confrontation from my husband who put Connor back in his place immediately. Disgusting behavior and terrible manners. Zero professionalism. I am appalled by Connor's behavior and will be contacting the corporate office before making the switch to T-Mobile today. Connor has no business being in sales, and in my personal opinion, he should be FIRED for making things personal in a professional environment.

    I had been trying for quite some time to get help resolving issues with my bill and some fraudulant…read morelines on my account and it was honestly a frustating experience- until I finally went into the Torrance store on PCH and Anza , and finally connected with Maxx ,(with double XX) who truly made a difference with the help I needed to get this resolved. He was amazingi!!! The best employee I have had to help me with this. I have been dealing with this for months and kept getting the run around. He was patient, attentive and genuinely committed to helping me figure everything out. He took the time to carefully review my account, get on the phone with upper management to get this cleared up and explained everything. He went above and beyond! Im incredibly grateful for his help after so much frustartion with multiple failed attempts with others. He said he has been there for 4 years and I hope management recognizes the value Maxx brings to the company. Customer service like this is rare and very much appreciated.

It was great paying a lower monthly invoice, some of the services like traveling overseas & local connectivity was downgraded. After 3 years, I'm back!! I visited the store in Winter 2024 to learn about recent promotions for phone & plan services. I was looking into the iPhone 16 Pro 256GB that cost $1,099; T-Mobile was running a promotion: $630 discount with trade-in on Go5G (via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a line on qualifying rate plan & trade-in); their background paperwork notes the transaction as Trade-In Value: $170, $630 over 24 months. When I was ready to transition, Elizabeth helped with carrier service transfer to T-Mobile & iPhone upgrade. I even received a couple of holiday glassware (though the design/inscription came off after several washings that I'm concerned if this is quality glassware). After purchasing the new iPhone 16 Pro, the data transfer was stuck; had to call store for assistance. Shawn was patient in walking me through the process (data transfer was estimated for 4 hours). Customer service & the cellular service for the most part was excellent; this would have been a 5-star review. Then why the low/unsatisfactory rating? After a couple of months into the new data plan, I noticed a major discrepancy in the trade-in credit; I was incorrectly charged with the payment & credit (refer to pic), I should receive a $26.67 monthly promotional credit & pay $19.17 monthly installment payment for the iPhone 16 Pro 256GB. I stopped by the store to inquire about this mistake, & they said the correction will be made once they receive the trade-in iPhone, which should have been received since it's been 2 months (02/19/25) after my purchase & plan upgrade. I just recently checked again & the error has not been corrected; I'm currently overcharged by $82.50. If this continues to the end of the 24 monthly billing cycle, I will be erroneously charged $180. Maybe it's not that much to some, but I was laid off a couple of months ago, so every cent is meaningful to our family. I am frustrated because T-Mobile assured me that the erroneous billing would be correct. \(`0´)/ It's been month & I don't like being swindled/taken advantage of. I plan to stop by the store again for a resolution & explanation to T-Mobile's error & the lack of action. If they correct their mistake, refund their incorrect charges, I will update the review with the details & amend the rating.

    This is the worst store we have ever visited…read more We found out it's not a corporate store so they zero interest in helping you unless they receive a commission. AT&T Corporate needs to investigate or terminate their contract. It's doing a disservice to loyal AT&T customers. Will never step foot in a non corporate store again.

Only one employee was actually working and helping 3 groups of customers when I walked in. The bigger guy who said his name was Michael was sitting on the chair the entire time without acknowledging any customers except 2 white guys. And they were just randomly chatting. 2. Inefficient operations. When I walked in, there's no one acknowledging anyone and I didn't know who would be helping me. The black employee Cash was the only one seems like he's working. 3. Cash helped me with my cellular plan for my watch but it wasn't working properly (later I found out there's errors that needed to be troubleshooting). But as he was working with multiple groups of customers, I was there left along without any help for about an hour. 3. The BIGGEST issue that I had was with the white guy with larger physique, who claims his name was Michael. After 1 hour of waiting without any help from store employees, I asked for help and he reluctantly came over to help me. I was texting my husband at the time and in our text messages my husband mentioned that the employee there seems new and a bit clueless. Michael saw the message and told me that I am rude. And told me literally "you came here on Black Friday (mind you Michael, it was the weekend after that in case you have limited knowledge on that), what do you expect?". This was absolutely unacceptable behavior. It wasn't my fault to come in to a store that opened. And if you as an employee decide to work that day, you should treat people with basic respect and courtesy. 4. At the end, he kicked me out of the store. And based on all the reviews here, it felt like this store is very DISCRIMINATORY towards non-white customers. 5. Also, I specifically refused the ATT internet service at the store. But STILL received their equipment without any notice. All in all, it was an extremely horrible experience there. Please don't come to this store since they don't seem like to work at all.
