Negative- 5 stars FYI: honest review of my recent experience as a new customer since Feb. 2021...... This store is called GoWireless and they are an authorized reseller and I really do not understand why. They need to change the sign so no other unexpected customers are fooled. Different rules + different policies= You get screwed! From day one I was lied to, promised things that never happen and feel the most cheated in my like. Way tooo much to list. It is mind blowing that a company can operate in this fashion. I was assured everything would work out from the sales person(Raymond) to two different store managers (Shawn and Lee) and now into my 5th month as a NEW Verizon customer I was told by a GoWireless corporate employee that everything I was promise is untrue, wasn't filed correctly and it was now to late to come to pass. I am wasting my time constantly trying to get what was promised to me. Still waiting for someone to call back regarding my situation and it has been a week. I understand a store can be busy but what hurts the most is the blatant disrespect and very poor customer service. I WARN anyone thinking of stopping by this location please think twice and save yourself a headache go to the corporate Verizon store so you are not deceived. Verizon is a great company and I have spoken to many telephone representatives that have tirelessly tried to help me but because this is an authorize reseller and not a "real" Verizon store only this store can fix their mistake which looks like will never happen. Horrible service. Went in the morning and was not greeted. They had one girl working there and like 5 customers first thing in the morning. Came back a few hours later and was greeted, but still had to wait at least 20 min. Had cash in hand and ready to buy a new iPhone, but the poor sales people were stuck helping other customers on how to operate apps on their phones. Waste of time. Don't they want to make any money? I then proceeded to go to the Verizon across the street near Albertsons and didn't even have to wait and was out in 20 min with my new iPhone. read more

I usually don't leave reviews on Yelp unless the expectations were taken to the extreme (either good or bad) In this case my expectations were met and exceeded. Mike A helped me out and even stayed with me past closing to make sure I was set up and got all of my deals, refunds, and discounts in order. Usually, completing a purchase and downloading saved apps and other files from the cloud takes a long time but not this time. read more

Went in to get my iPhone fixed, they don't fix phones you will need to upgrade or wait two weeks for a refurbished... I felt like I was being " barber shopped " from the minute I walked in the door ... I ended up buying things I didn't want just so I would have a phone .. the pressure here to buy the overpriced stuff they sell here is tremendous and I felt like I was buying a used car from Richard Nixon .. my wife and I found the same things they sell , on amazon, for less than 50% of what they want ... DO NOT SHOP HERE unless if you want to get ripped. I spoke with Verizon the day prior before coming here. 12 year Verizon customer. They told me yes trade in your iPhone XR we will give you the new iPhone 13 for tax plus $35 activation. $95 total. They said I can go into a Verizon store if I do not want to wait for shipping. I drive from lake arrowhead, walk in told the guy what I wanted. He said it will be $255. Asked him where is this $255 coming from. Made a comment oh it's towards other activation fees and I can make it include some accessories. Told him no thanks I want the phone and that it so he replied sorry the people at Verizon lied to you and they must be taking on fees to the bill. These people make there money on accessories. So they tell you these are activation fees but we will give you some accessories. Total crock! I went to the Verizon store across the st. The real Verizon store. $95 got my phone, no games or add one to my bill. Told the employee about them and they laughed like they new the game. Next is a complaint to Verizon. Never go to these 3rd parts Verizon stores! Unless if you want to pay more! read more

I purchased an iPhone from Candace and was not satisfied with the purchase. Gave a trade in 64gb iPhone 6 Plus assuming that it was going to be credited towards the total but it wasn't. I was given a bag with the phone and some electronics which I thought were promotional items. I reviewed my receipt and read that my trade in value went towards electronics that I did not want. I was not able to return those items because the value of trade in phones could only be used for in store purchases. Bad communication will not shop at an authorized dealer again. read more

I would warn people to stay away from this store, it is a authorized Verizon retailer not a Verizon store. My son ordered new phones and I went to the store afterwards to confirm the order and was told by salesman Mike that everything was good. Went to pickup the phones on date of release and was told that they were in shipping. I got angry because my son was heading back to college the next day. Mike lied (his first lie) and said that he told my son it would be at least 3 or 4 days. I said ok we need them by tomorrow and Mike said to check back, then walked into the back and said he had the same phones in stock so he could sell us those. We said great, and proceeded with letting him do the order when I asked about free air buds and Mike said that since I wasn't getting the preordered phones that I would not get the air buds. I told him to wait until the ordered phones came in and we left. Today I received an order status from Verizon that my ordered phones were in and available for pickup. I went to the store and Mike was not there so the manager started helping me and he came out with 2 phones ( both S10's not the s10 and the s10E we had ordered) with new numbers, I told him one phone was going to be a upgrade and one was a new number he said no that they were both new numbers. and that I could just use the upgrade BOGO value for the second phone (of course with$250 in additional sales to him. Then I asked about the air buds and he said "oh you wont get them because you canceled your preorder (lie 2). I told him that I was here to pick up the preordered phones and I had not canceled them. He (the manager) went into the back and supposedly called Mike and came back out and said he had talked to Mike and that he Mike said he called both my son and I (lie#3) and confirmed that we had canceled the order. I took out my phone and showed him my call log which showed no calls from Mike. The manager just shook his head and said sorry there is nothing he could do. I said then give me the correct phones and credit in accessories for the value of the air buds. His response was it was Mikes word against mine and he would not do anything and his hands were tied. In essence they ordered 3 phones for us instead of 2 and tried to force us to take what they wanted to sell. I told them cancel the order and walked out of the store. Oh yea all of the cases and accessories are way overpriced. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. And am actually hoping that management reaches out to me so I can give them a true piece of my mind and maybe an actual response to the problem. I purchased an iPhone XS Max AND an iPad on the same day because the deal that was being offered was amazing. I was originally thrilled with my purchase and felt like I saved a good bit of many. To protect my very expensive purchase I bought the screen protector replacement package that was also offered. I have purchased this before through GoWireless and it was a great value so thought I should do it again. The cost for the replacement protectors are $79.99. They had changed the policy where you could not get the protectors put on unlimited but I believe you can get 3 changed within a certain time frame. Regardless, I purchased it. Well I noticed that my iPads screen protector was starting to get damaged so I stopped in to get it changed. They didn't have any in stock and urged me to call back next week. Next week came, I called, still not in. I was told call next week; our manager is going to drive and pick some up. Next week came, I called, still no screen protectors. This happened over and over again for about a month. Well we then went on vacation, the screen protector was even more cracked but unfortunately nothing that I could do since management or whoever else wasn't able to get them in (although I paid for this service). The iPad shattered while on vacation! When we got back I took it to a repair place to have the repair done. I then walked into this Go Wireless to let them know what happened. There was no sympathy given. They didn't acknowledge any fault even though I called for a MONTH to get a service that I prepaid for done to avoid replacing the actual screen on the device. Basically I was told "oh well". I reached out to the district manager (Dwayne Allen) by email on June 27th and at the time of this review I have still not heard a word. I gave employees at the store my phone number for when the screen protector comes in and guess what, I STILL have no heard from them. This is ridiculous. I want my money back for the screen protector service that I can not get and spent almost $80. I want management to reach out to me and solve this problem. I refuse to give them my service again and I urge you to do the same. read more

I could go on and on about this, but I will get to the point. We had another phone carrier and had horrible experiences all the way around so we finally decided to go with Verizon. We purchased 4 Galaxy S8 at a cost of $755.99 each. At the time of purchase 9/30/17 we were told that we would get a set of the Virtual Reality Goggles per phone purchase. This was so misleading as this was not true and this promotion could not be redeemed on line as told to us by our sales rep. We found out that in order for this to happen we would have to have bought the phone directly from Samsung. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to stay away from this store. I as a Business Owner know what customer service is and stand by my word to my customers and would expect the same of this store. I will not do business here again. My husband and I were blatantly lied to about a purchase. We went in for a new ipad because ours broke. And the salesman told us they had a promotion on tablets and there was NO $10 / per mo data package.... LIE. And that we could buy as many as we want, pay the taxes and just use them on wifi. LIE! He ended up signing us up for two year contracts!!! Actually $12 per month! And we got TWO! Because WHY NOT Right?? He saw I had two kids. He said I could even get 4! I kept asking what the catch was.... And he promised there wasn't one. THEN I get my bill, and there is a $52 charge for EACH new tablet. $75 in the store to pay fees + $52 to activate each one + a 2 year contract paying 10 bucks a mo on each. So that "FREE" tablet went from "FREEEEEE just use on wifi!" this?!? Wow. I should have just gone with the ipad! *also please note: when I called VERIZON customer service and was told this is NOT a Verizon store, just an authorized dealer- which I'm just now learning the diff. I was JUST NOW told to NEVER deal with these places.... From a Verizon employee. The manager called and said it MUST be a miscommunication, and is allowing me to return one. My family switch over from T-Mobile which we have been with them for over 15years. Verizon was giving out a great promotion where we would get $200 per line that we port in and if we trade in our existing phone we would get additional on top of that. Well we switch over in October 2019 and now it's May 2020 and they still have not give us our $200/line and we have a total of 5 lines which means we should be getting $1000 total. Instead we only got $400 for two of the lines and the remaining $600 they are refusing to give us. The store manager said he submitted a claim with the corporate and it's the process of getting it for us which occur in Early 2020 not we are in May. AND they still refuse to honor the deal that we deserve. For anyone looking into switching to Verizon because of the promotion DONT DO IT... At least at this location. The worker and owner scammed us of the promotion. The worker who help us said they process all the paper work and we will receive it in the mail..... and now the store manager said it was NOT their responsibility. Well the thing is why did we get two of the five $200 when we did the same process for all 5phones. This was an error by of the worker and they are refusing responsibility of their end because they made an error. If you are looking to switch to Verizon DONT DO IT it is all a scam. I have shopped here before but let me be clear . Never again will I walk into this Verizon store. I walked in to purchase new phone . I got attended quickly by Jason . I informed him I wanted note 7 . Jason told me he would "hook me up with accessories " if I buy the phone. As we get close to end of transaction Jason has about 4-5 accessories on counter and says "hold on I think I found another coupon I can use " so he says select another accessory worth $50 . Shoot I'm thinking I'm getting " hooked up " Then Jason says this will be $186 and how will I be paying for this . When I asked Jason what's the $186 for he says taxes and accessory bundle . $90 in taxes and $96 for accessories. When I asked what happened to the hook up ? Jason says I'm giving you 25% off . But I already get 25% off on all accessories. I then talked to Chris,store manager, and he even says all store are adding accessory bundles . To end this long story I told then hell no and refund my purchase. Bewar of used car salesmen working at Verizon store that say they are " hooking you up " read more

Really unhappy with this retail experience. My wife went in around Christmas time and made a deal with Tomas. This guy totally lied about a number of things. Chris, the manager, was great and took everything back. We were concerned because my wife had unlimited data and we thought we lost that completely. We jump forward to today, late February. Verizon never reviewed back our phones so we are being billed over $800. We spoke to Chris over a month ago and thought it was taken care of. Okay so my review got deleted because I need to specify more detail about my expierence,So heres my expierence Detailed !!! So I came into this store on saturday Oct 15 2016 because my iphone sound wasn't working Randy greeted us and I told him what was going on with my phone he tried to fix the sound it didnt work still which is okay it wasnt his fault ...so my husband wanted to know if there was any deals on tablets so I asked Randy and he said yes he directed us to a tablet told us about the tablet and the promotion going on... next to the tablets there was a sign saying that there was a $50 rebate so I asked him and he said oh yeah that there was a $50 rebate on it... the rebate is what convinced us to get it OH and That he would also jailbreak it for us and add something called Codi its from fire stick its free streaming for movies and shows so I said okay cool ...so he started the whole process and actaviation for the tablet everything was going good he had completed the activation and I said "oh and also I want to know how to do the rebate " he said oh yeah that ...well "theres an 80% chance youll get ur rebate, but youll most likely get it " I said so even though you told me I was going to get the rebate its not a forsure thing ..."he said No " so then he printed a sheet with all the products that were currently giving rebates and he said the tablet wasn't on that list ...so then I told my husband and we decided we didnt want it no more ... Randy the employee said are u sure I mean you are getting a good deal im hooking u up with the codi in ur tablet ... I do this outside of work and I charge $80 bucks and here im doing it for free ...we still said no we didnt want it no more ....so he began the return process which took a while !!! Honestly we felt lied to ...if the rebates arnt going on, on the tablets why is there signs next to them ?? Is it bait to get the customer to buy ? Thats FALSE ADVERTISMENT .. I later found out that this isnt even a real verizon store it's like a 3rd party ... Don't come here save yourself you time ...Theres AN ACTUAL VERIZON STORE IN THE SHOPPING CENTER ACROSS THE STREET!!!! I went in there afterwards and of coarse they didnt have the same promotion on the tablets, because they weren't currently going on !!! read more
