I have a Verizon plan and I went in to buy a new iPhone X and pay in full. When I got home I see they added $150 in random charges and fees! You gotta listen to me very carefully if you don't want to be crazy. I have been a crazy witch for a month because of the people who work here. I wanted to move to verizon from at&t so I visit this retailer and told them that I wanted move 3 lines from at&t and open one new line. When I visit them I only brought one cellphone which is iphone 7. Two friends under my account have iphone7 plus and LG phone. The seller gave me 3 sim card and told me put in the phone after unlock the phones. We did but none of them worked. I visited the retailer again and they wasn't able to figured it out and told me we have to buy new phones. WTF. They told me it could happen but they don't know why. Later my friend find out iphone7 from at&t can not move to verizon. I was upset because the seller didn't tell me when I visit them fist time. They are experts. They should know If I can use my old phone or have to buy new phone. They should informed me before move but they didn't. They just wanted to sell new phones. I believe they thought I was going to buy new phones because I didn't have new choice. That's the first reasons I was upset. Second. They even don't know what they have to do. Whenever I visit this place It took forever. At least one hour. They don't know what they have to do. I had to waste much time at this place. The last, I waste all the time and money here because they didn't tell me I can't use my phone with verizon. The last time I went to a Verizon authorized retailer I had a horrible experience. I had such a great experience at this store with Jose Rios assisting me that I had no clue I was at another authorized retailer. Jose was really knowledgeable about various cost-saving options, stayed late to help transfer data to a new phone, and checked in with me the week after we bought our phone to make sure appropriate promotions/credits were applied to my Verizon account. Who does that?? He is thorough and knows how to deal with people... excellent customer service. read more

Beware! THIS STORE IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! THEY OPENED THREE NEW LINES BEHIND MY BACK! First of all, they are not one of Verizon Corporate offices. I went there to shop new phones on last Saturday and I didn't buy anything and make any contracts. Suddenly, I got confirmation emails from Verizon this Wednesday morning says "Thank you for upgrading new phones!". WTF??? I didn't do anything with them. So I called Verizon @611 right away to find out what happened. Verizon legal team confirmed me that they ran my credit check using my personal information and OPENED THREE NEW LINES with upgrade phones! The upgrade agreements was prepared by them and had a fraudulent signature by one of them! WTFFFFFF! They're under investigation by Verizon and Verizon told me to file a police report. Oh yeah- I sure do it! So this store has new management, and it's great. I heard this store was terrible, but not any longer. Everyone there was super helpful. I'm not so well versed in devices and I didn't feel pressured at all to buy more than I needed. Nick helped me and he kindly explained things that I didn't understand. He even talked to my family on the phone about lowering our plan because we weren't using 75% of what we were paying for currently. Also he didn't make me feel weird about not knowing.. ***Update*** This store's corporate reached out to me and rectified the situation by reimbursing the incorrect fees charged. Definitely do not go to this location. My girlfriend and I upgraded to two IPhone Xrs last month. When we asked what the total was the "manager" told us the break down. He let us know that we were paying for two activation fees, our cases, and our first month of payment for the phones. It sounded good so we signed an electronic screen. We were never given any paperwork or shown a receipt. This month however, we get our bill from Verizon with two more activation fees plus two insurance plans. So we got back to the Verizon plus store and find out from an employee that the manager was supposed to "disclose" all of the fees to us before we paid. He then showed us our original receipt and we discover that we had paid $100 for two "loyalty programs" and $14/ month for insurance plans, neither of which were disclosed or showed to us. This isn't an actual Verizon store, which was confusing to me because the exterior does not try to distinguish it as Wireless Plus. Having walked by it frequently and seeing the large V logo, I just assumed it was Verizon and nothing about it about the interior or customer service experience leads to thinking differently. There's verizon ads and marketing everywhere. Wish I it was clearer because I would have went to the Beverly location instead and not wasted my time here. Staff is friendly, so not their fault. Ended up just switching to AT&T. Tried buying a phone online, by calling Customer Service, and in this store. Couldn't seem to get Verizon to take my money and finally gave up. At&t's website is an eyesore compared to Verizon's beautiful branding but...my new plan and phone are cheaper than my old verizon one and most importantly, what i couldn't do in a full day of shopping with Verizon, I was able to do in 10 mins online with AT&T...buy a new iPhone. read more

Phenomenal. Before going in, I called to ask a few questions and gauge if the representative would be able to help me. I was lucky to speak with Eddie. He was kind, very smart, and was able to answer my questions. Due to the incredible interaction, I decided to go in and purchase a new phone as I was eligible for an upgrade. When I went in, I worked with Eddie again, and I continued to be impressed. He was a true professional, handled the customers in the store with finesse, and was able to answer my questions honestly and with expertise. At one point he even double checked on an answer with his manager to ensure I was receiving the correct information. I had technical questions and questions about international calling capabilities, and he navigated all of them flawlessly. In fact, Eddie saved me a ton of money by explaining all of my options to me. I decided not to purchase a new iPhone today, however, the moment I'm ready to, I will return to this store to purchase it. Beware! Of this place especially, and any other "authorized retailer." I see other reviews talking about financial scams and them tricking you into signing up for things - PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE! When I got my XR, the woman who helped me (who also ordered the wrong phone for me) told me that I could have a tablet for FREE. I actually said no thank you because I already have something that I use for reading and truly have no use for it. Then she INSISTED that I take it - "it's free!! why wouldn't you!!" So finally I did. Next thing, we're getting charged monthly fees for this "free" tablet. We had called corporate who said that I just have to go back and return the tablet and all charges will be refunded/removed. When I go back and talk to a slew of people at the store (including one person named Andrew C.), they tell me that they CAN make it actually be free, and it was actually put into the system wrong. Duped again, I took the tablet home with me only to be called by mother again that there was still a monthly charge and now she was being charged more for something else. AGAIN Verizon corporate told me to bring it back, only this time Andrew completely denied me and said that "it was never free, just reduced charge" and refused to take it back saying there was nothing he can do. The smug indifference on his face did not help. The woman from the very beginning was even there and said "yeah I did say it was free." Very bizarre, blatant lying, and now our hands seem to be completely tied. Do NOT agree to things they offer without extensive research. These are not good people. read more

I can't say enough positive things about this Verizon Store and especially Anthony V. I've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years and even though I was simply there to begin the process for replacement for my Samsung S6 under my extended warranty (no new phone sale) I was treated wonderfully. A week later, I went in with my replacement phone that I had received by FedEx and Anthony did the transfer of data from the old S6 to the S7 Verizon provided as the replacement. Not a real Verizon store (rather, they are an "authorized retailer") despite one of the employees bellowing at us that they were "A REAL VERIZON STORE, DIDN'T YOU SEE THE SIGN?" Yes, we did see the sign, which is why we made the mistake of coming into here, as opposed to an actual Verizon store. Not only did Larry sell us a bill of goods and charge us for a SIM card, when we questioned the charge, he was happy to let us know that this was standard, and that Verizon always charged customers for new SIM cards. It seemed odd, so we called Verizon corporate, where a representative assured us that actual Verizon stores do not charge for SIM cards, and that Verizon stood by its 14 day, no questions asked, equipment return policy. In other words, the store would "absolutely" take the return. When we returned to the store, CJ was very quick to state that they did not take SIM card returns, regardless of the situation. When we told him we had just called corporate, he responded that he had "no idea" why the phone representative would have told us that, and stood by his statement that they absolutely could not take back the cards. We mentioned that she had stated that their authorized 3rd party retailers, not actual Verizon stores, charged for SIM cards, which is when we were treated to his angry assurance that we were in a Verizon store. To add insult to injury, Larry sauntered over and assured CJ that he had "told them that they could go to a corporate store and get a SIM card for free." What was really surprising to me was not just the frequency of the lying, but how blatant they were about it. The ONE good thing about this experience was they finally refunded the money for the SIM card and told us to "just keep it". But yeah. Go to the actual Verizon store on Vine. Do not come here! They will trick you into signing up for services you don't want. My phone bill went from $100 to $200. They said my bill would be slightly higher, slightly higher is not double the amount of your current bill. They're customer service is really horrible, after they unload all these lies to sell you things in disguised as promotional items, they refuse to take it back and they're response is it'll be cheaper for you to keep the service than to do the early cancellation. So they make you keep a useless service you didn't want in the first place. Talk about scammers, sales people, crooks, and dishonest business. I went in today 6-29-2020 around 10:45 a.m. try to find out few things about my phone, I been with Verizon for over 10 years. When I walked in I was the only person and the sale associate greeted me and I told him I will be changing my phone to T mobile because of the cheap family plans , I currently paid $135-140 monthly by switching to friends and family plan it's only $50, I asked if he could check if the my phone is lock or unlocked, how do I find the password, instantly he told me he couldn't help me, I told ask him if he can give me the customer service or technical support number cause I enrolled in the paperless payment and Verizon just deducted the bill every month from my checking account, call 611 he said, I asked him why can he gave me the number and he said " I don't have to" I was in shocked then I ask what's his name? ( he has tattoos all over his right hand with big hole piecing ears )Again " I don't have to gave you my name " and he quickly turned his name badge and using his hand covering it. I never ever been to a place be treated like nobody and so rude and disrespectful.
