Great location on the Spokane River. We sat outside because we had our dog. They have a nice patio with heaters and a bowl for dog water. Views of the river and the Centennial Trail. The waitstaff was super friendly and attentive even though we were the only ones on the patio for lunch. Prices were good, pizza and soup were amazing, and the focaccia was memorably delicious. The only thing I can say is this is the best pizza place in Spokane!! Salad was so fresh. Appetizers were so good. We really liked the pizza crusts. We already went twice because everything we ate was so good and needed to try more. Oh and their customer service was amazing. They were so welcoming and friendly. Outside patio had gorgeous view. My coworker wanted to go to Kendall Yards, so I looked up the restaurants around the area and ended up with Veraci Pizza. It's supposedly "the best pizza in Spokane" according to a gentleman also waiting in line to be seated. We ordered a half Caesar, a half of Salati Fresca, and two slices of the Green Dahlia. My coworker said the Caesar salad was good but did not have much dressing on there. The Salati Fresca, on the other hand, was drenched in sweet vinaigrette that had a little too much vinegar. It was overpowering, but still refreshing with all the diced tomatoes. The Green Dahlia was super ginormous in size for just one slice. It was a thin-crust pizza with pesto, three cheese blend, and some garnishes of tomatoes and red onions on top. It was a little greasy, but understandable, due to the pesto. Love how the ingredients came together perfectly! My coworker and I both devoured our pizza slices without issue and was super full after. Overall, I would definitely come back to Veraci Pizza if I am ever in Spokane again. It sucks that they only sell specialty pizzas as a whole. I would love to try the Brussels and Bacon one. read more

I really love this places food. I really don't like their service. Its so sad. We went as a party of 12. Ordered a lot of food and tried to order a lot of drinks however you just really couldn't because our server seemed more interested on talking to his co workers and being annoyed with our party size. From the start to finish he just seemed irritated. It was kind of annoying because we loved the food so much. Id love to go again but they don't take reservations and when I go its usually a wait time of more than 30 minutes. Even at 3:00 in the afternoon we couldn't get right in. I'm not sure when a good down time is that you can get in. The pizza is delish My sons each had a large that they ate the whole thing. The cheese bread is so good and we cleaned up 3 orders and I'm sure wouldn't had more lol. We tried several pizzas and salads and nothing we got was anything but amazing. I went to my sisters house today to help with her new little baby and we decided to get food. I haven't really had pizza for a while so we decided to get some. She has ordered from here before and recommended it. Not really knowing the area as well I was down to try it. Plus it's pizza hard to go wrong with that. We got the pepperoni pizza and the Gorgonzola and apple salad half sized to split. We got it delivered and it came hot and fresh. Super huge bonus points there. The salad for a half size was massive. The mixed greens and the cheese and apples were perfect together. Also with the candied nuts for a little crunch was awesome. A nice little starter to the meal. The vinaigrette was light and not over saturating the greens. The pizza itself was awesome. The red sauce was flavorful and added to it. The cheese mixture was good and the pepperoni was the big slices not the little ones you can sometimes get. It was hot and flavorful and the crust was crunchy and chewy and the best consistency. It was super tasty. The overall experience was really good. The food was exactly what we wanted and it was delivered fast and painlessly. I would highly recommend this place. We got the pizza of the week, Brocc me like a Hurricane, which had Chili Oil, Three Cheese Blend, Fresh Mozzarella, Sausage, Garlic Confit, Red Onions, Roasted Broccolini. SO GOOD. I went back on a second pass for Veraci, and the meal was SO much better this time around! I liked that the sign out front advertised the vegan options, too. Spokane needs more vegan-friendly places. This time I did a lunch of the hummus plate, and it was incredible! The hummus was flavorful, and the veggies were super fresh. I loved that they had purple carrots! The rosemary focaccia was also to die for, and my friend got an extra side of it, so we carbed out on the goodness. My friend had a salad, and the entree size was truly enough for two people. It was super fresh, and she really enjoyed it. The only mark against the experience would be that we had to ask another server to get ours every time we needed anything because she was never around. For some reason, our server only had one table on the patio whereas the other one had every other table, so we got forgotten a bit. But when she did come around, she was very nice and the other server was gracious about tracking her down for us. read more

Great view, great location. Came here for a "going away party" for a coworker. There was about 10 of us around 3pm on a Thursday. We did not have a reservation and boy were we made to feel very uncomfortable about it. Didn't think we would need a reservation for 3pm on a Thursday and it was kind of a last minute decision anyway. Many of us felt like we were chastised for not letting them know we were coming and were even told to call next time.... The place was not busy, besides our group, there were maybe 4 other people in the place. I mean, I can KINDA understand maybe having a reservation for rush hour.. or weekends. And there were more employees working than were in the whole restaurant... so I guess if you are planning on going here to eat... and are in a group... plan ahead and don't go last minute unless you want to feel your business is unwelcome. Let's get to the food: food was decent. Coworkers said pizza was good, I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and wasn't really impressed. There was definitely not enough dressing on my salad and parts of it was very dry. The chicken was actual chicken and not processed "lunch meat" so that was a bonus. Giving 3 stars because I Wasn't really impressed with the service, and being "scolded" for not telling them we were coming and also for my the fact my salad was dry. Love this place I was traveling for work stopped by and now this will be my fave place to eat in Spokane wa I had tomato basil soup wow it was delicious, and pepperoni pizza for my boys and they loved it. I hate to be that person because the pizza was so delicious, but maybe someone who works at Versalia will see this and make sure this doesn't happen to someone else. There were short brown hairs cooked into the dough, so maybe the dough roller needs to be wearing a cap or tying up their hair. Craving pizza with Mushrooms so decided to check out this local pizza place. Ordered a whole Spicy Portabello pizza with Gorgonzola Apple salad. Pizza was good on an average scale. Dough was thin and chewy like a neapolitan pizza should be (although this wasn't a true neapolitan pizza but I think it was going for that style of pizza). The dough was lacking a fragrance to it that makes the pizza oh so yummy. The sauce was typical and didn't seem savory but was good enough for me. Our portabello flavor was ok and they sprinkled on extra fresh mushrooms, but overall it lacked the mushroom taste I was hoping for. Since the dough is particularly thin, ordering lots of toppings isn't recommended. Sparing toppings make this style of pizza taste better so perhaps the sparing of toppings made it lack flavor. Salad was good though. I'm beginning to really like blue cheese. Perhaps old age has begun on my tastebuds. Service was good. But when we requested another table, it was strange that the hostess just left us to select another table without completely transferring us over. Leaving us to move out own menu, cups, and utensils; as well as flagging the waitress to let her know we had moved. Street parking right out front for 1.5 hours. Didn't seem to be charging for parking on the street. read more

We had a terrible experience with the lack of accommodation and customer service by the hostess. She obviously does not value the customer and is unwilling to even try to provide service or a great experience. From the minute I walked in she was annoyed unwilling to work with a big party and then annoyed that I wanted to place a to go order with a scheduled pick up. Love your food but maybe your hostess could use some customer service training Thank you for your response The real point was the attitude and the annoyance with me the customer I first asked about accommodating a party of 14 Then I asked if we could bring a dog The person who picked up the pizza realized he was early it was the attitude of the hostess that was terrible I just wanted you to be aware. Pizza is hard to rate, with so many different styles and preferences regarding ZA, even if one person likes it - others may not. This is brick fired, thin crunchy crust Neapolitan style pizza. The toppings are top notch, very tasty and fresh. Their single slice options have expanded recently but are still limited to their more basic offerings. Pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage - aka the spicy tony, cheese, mushroom, and their tomato and onion w/ pesto base. Their slices are pricy - but they are 1/4 of the full size pizza. There is only one size pizza and in my opinion is enough for 2 hungry adults. My favorite is the Tuscan - Sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives & chevre on garlic olive oil with a three cheese blend. They have rotating taps from microbreweries and have had good hard cider as well. Their alcoholic root beer is good, topped with brain freeze ice cream from next door is a delicious treat. We were at this place yesterday, my husband love NY pizza and wanted to check this out. We ordered the amanti de carni pizza, 2 glasses of red blend wine, ceasar salad & Mediterranean salad with chicken. Everything was good until I saw a tiny piece of thin clear plastic on my chicken so I figured it's just tiny no big deal so I was just gonna let it go until I found another long clear plastic in my plate it was at the bottom of the salad, It was about maybe 6-7 inches long. I had to call the waitress, they remove the plate right away and gave me another one but at that point I was so grossed out with my salad. my salad was very oily and very wet, I still couldn't figure out how the clear plastic got into my plate. I didn't want to eat it anymore and didn't eat the pizza. I lost my appetite. My husband and kids were eating and enjoying the pizza. I should have taken a picture of my plate but they were so fast I didn't get a chance. LoL We asked a different waitress for a Togo bag. She just replied "they have it upfront". So I guess the service is done after you paid it?! I don't think I'm coming back anytime soon to this place. Too bad the pizza looks really good. read more

It just came to my attention that I have never yelped about Verraci's!!! What the heck; this is my favorite pizza in Spokane. Ok, it's true that I don't eat wheat. Just a personal choice; I feel better and generally make healthier choices without it. Veraci is my ONE EXCEPTION to my rule. Life without their pizza is inconceivable. Nice thin crust, delectable red or pesto sauces, top notch ingredients! If you are solo you can order an individual slice (keep in mind this is 1/4 of a pizza) at the counter - a few standards are available every day such as the Spicy Tony, the Green Goddess, Pepperoni, Cheese... and the special of the day. Otherwise a whole pie is the way to go - AND they will do a half and half for you. The Spicy Tony is my go-to! But everything is fantastic; they offer an array of choices, around half are vegetarian. Great beer on tap which rotates. Beautiful covered patio overlooking the Spokane River. I have never had anything but a 100% wonderful experience at Veraci. read more

The pizza is good. It's always been good. The service was kind and timely for a Saturday night. But, the table of eight or nine 60 year old frat boys and girls who were nearly yelling and cursing while my pregnant partner, 12-year-old and I at the table next to them, and many other patrons attempting to enjoy dinner, was obscene. Is it not the responsibility of the establishment to promote a enjoyable experience for all and ask an obscenely loud group to bring it down a notch? I think so. It's not a pub or a sports bar where I would expect something of the sort that went on tonight. I wonder if it was just because Versalia didn't want to get a "bad review" from them. Complete bullshit. Step up and stand up for your establishment and those who frequent it. Thanks for ruining what we were hoping to be a nice dinner so you could save face. No problem with service. Have been going here since before the name change and have always ordered the prosciutto with arugula pizza. We were here last week and it was perfect. Prosciutto, arugula and oh, that wonderful crust in perfect harmony. Today, we had the antipasto plate for the first time and it was delicious. We ordered the same pizza, but there was hardly any prosciutto on it. A dish of prosciutto was brought promptly, however, not the same as not baked in the cheese. If returning soon, we'll definitely try a different pizza. read more

The last time Yelped about Veraci, I was unhappy about the carry out Service. I received a very nice response from the owner saying that she didn't have any control over the parking which I totally understand but that she invited me to come up with some suggestions about what they could do to improve service for carry out customers. I thought that was interesting. This time I am writing about the fact that they have not updated their menu on yelp so when I called to do a carry out order they didn't have what I want. A long conversation ensued with the staff person about verde pizza not being by the slice. So I opted for salad which I was told would take about 10 minutes. I'm happy to say that picking up my order was much faster than it was in the past. I was in and out within two minutes. Now maybe they can put the Verde pizza back on their single slice menu read more

Crust was raw and tough... sauce was weirdly sweet? Toppings were all right. Used to go to the Liberty Lake location and their pizza was amazing. Ordered a large pizza, ate two pieces... threw the reat away it was so bad. For 30 bucks for a pie.. it should at least be edible. read more
