Cassandra was a such huge help getting our truck towed from Anaheim to Corona after the ball joint broke. We live in apartments so we only have a small parking space on the side of the building to park it and she did amazing job maneuvering the truck into such a small space with hardly any room. Cassandra called ahead and notified me when she was on her way. She arrived early which was good for me. My BMW was parked on my driveway and she was able to get it loaded on even when my car's battery is dead. Cassandra also tried jump-starting the car with a jumpbox first and confirmed the battery had no juice left. Unloaded my car at a local BMW independent shop and there were no damages to my car during the whole process. Fee is fair and is shown on their website. No complaints and would use again if I needed to call a towing company. read more

About as great of an experience as we could have asked for, considering having to get your car towed is at the bottom of the list of "ways I'd like to spend my Sunday". Bruce was totally transparent on the phone call: no surprises, no shady extra charges, no half-truths. Bruce is straight up and a VERY clear communicator, so these negative reviews are making me scratch my head. You sure that all the problems you had were Veterans fault? Price is reasonable and Bruce was very accommodating, considering my car was broken down in an area that was far from their normal service area. And Mr. Audley James. This guy is at the top of his game. Skilled driver, positive personality and just a great human being. He went above and beyond to help us out and ensure we got the best service possible. Scott did a great job on towing my work's company truck Dodge Promaster 2500. The Radiator hose broke so the it overheated. The battery was weak so he tried to jump start but it didn't work and the truck won't go to neutral. He used sliders to get it to the flatbed there was no damage at all. I was stranded in the Laguna Hills Canyon area when the electric key to my car stopped working. Dealer Roadside assistance for my car authorized a tow to their local dealership through Veteran's Towing. I was concerned about the narrow winding roads and where my car was parked. Jeff Hendricks from Veterns showed up as promised and i spike to their helpful dispatcher ( a real person). And conformed tat I cold ride with Jeff to the dealership. They sent me a tracking text so I could see his progress immediately after the appointment was booked ( like Uber). Jeff was a magician and was able to manurever his huge flatbed truck so that we could get my undriveable car onto the truCPK and delivered me in record time to the dealer. Because I was able to ride with him in the spacious air conditioned and immaculate cab I saved UBER fees. Jeff, Stayed with me the whole time. at the dealer who then suggested that I "tow the car to my local dealer in LA since it was clearly and "electrical problem" ". Jeff and I called BMW roadside assistance again and were able to finally get a competent advsior who walked us through a simple fix of unhooking the rear negative Battery for 5 minutes which forced a hard reset of the electric system which enabled my key to be recognized. Jeffs guidance and calm demeanor as well as his "lets find a way" attitude prevented a costly and unnecessary second tow and repair for something that was a easy fix. Veterans Towing hires former military personnel so they have a Level of service and effeicinecy that is unparalleled in what can be a "wide open" service when people are vulnerable.. I cant say enough great things about Jeff and Veteran's!!!! read more

Not the towing company you want. They give you an ETA and never update it and when you call to ask for an update they cancel your pick up. It is very stressful to have a truck by the side of the road and then to get a service that could care less about the situation is a terrible way to do business. Try other companies. Wow what a great bunch of guys. My bike died at a light in Irvine and wouldn't start so naturally I needed to call a tow truck. Veterans was not only the best reviewed service on yelp, but they're obviously a veteran run company so this was a no brainer. The guy on the phone was quick and helpful and was able to get a truck out to me ASAP. James showed up about 15 minutes later and started rigging things up. As you would expect from a Marine Corps veteran he was every bit the consummate professional: friendly, efficient, and an absolute expert in his field. The guy I mentioned on the phone earlier showed up in a seperate car a few minutes later to oversee my experience and quell my misgivings about having my $20k Italian motorcycle towed. He also owned an Italian motorcycle and knew how nerve wracking having someone else touch it can be. He reassured me that the bike would be perfectly safe, saw to it personally, and showed me pictures of his own prized machine getting loaded on a similar rig. And it was! They had special gear to load up the bike, secure it, and get it back home. Couldn't be happier with the experience, the relief of knowing that the pinnacle of experts in the field were handling my baby alone was worth it, plus the level of service and professionalism was in line with the highest standards of military virtue. At the end of it all when I paid I was a little taken aback by how cheap the service was, I had honestly assumed emergency service like this would be expensive. I remember feeling a little indebted and I kind of felt like I had u underpaid for the level of service I received. I resolved to leave them a good review, I rarely am motivated to leave a positive review. Look at my other reviews, I mostly leave reviews when I'm pissed about something. At any rate, I would recommend them to anyone and I hope everyone reading this makes the same choice I did, you certainly won't be dissapointed. read more

I wanted to thank Veterans Towing for assisting me tonight. From the dispatcher who was quick to take my call and called me back immediately to let me know how far his closest driver was to me to the driver Lyle who was the nicest tow truck driver I have worked with.my car needed to get towed and I was given an estimated time of 45 minutes but in less than 10 minutes I received a call from Lyle letting me know how far out he was and under 20 minutes he arrived and took me home a lot faster than I had anticipated. Lyle was really kind and rather fast. During the ride we had a nice conversation where he told me has 21 years of experience & enjoys working for the company - said it truly takes care of its employees and hires plenty of Veterans. The rate was in my price range & affordable which was a bonus also. I 100% reccomend Veterans Towing to everyone in SoCal. read more

Nothing to say except these guys are the best tow company in Southern California. No offense to other tow guys, but these guys don't seem like they belong. They are clean, professional, friendly, ON TIME, and even charged me less than I was quoted. When I needed my project car relocated from one shop to another, I stumbled on their site through Yelp and 40 min later, they showed up to the shop to load my car. The paint shop hadn't even gotten it outside yet and the guy from Veteran Towing was there to load her up. I seriously couldn't believe how great this experience was. Veteran Towing is now my go-to tow company for all jobs. Lastly, according to the driver, they are all ex or current military. No question about it... this company is amazing. read more

Unfortunately, I have to write this, being a USMC Veteran myself, I hate that what should have been a trusted transaction between Vets turned out to be a scam. It has taken me a year to write this, my wife finally told me to do it since every time I see their tow I talk about it. I had a 1992 tool bed Ford F-350 that I used every week or so for my business. A friend had a unit at a Lake forest office complex that gave him a couple overnight parking spaces. He told me I could use one of the spots. I DROVE my truck there and parked. My friend forgot to tell the office I was there, so it was towed by Veterans Towing. I only found out it was towed when Veterans Towing called me to ask if I had the keys to the truck, after they had had it a week of impound. Not a problem!! I am a big boy, I don't cry over my mistakes. So I make arrangements to pick up the vehicle with the Owner or Manager of this company. He gave me a price of somewhere in the range of $950 after my Military Discount. It actually took me a few days to come up with the money, but he said he'd hold it for me. He said, "a truck like this is worth a lot of money, I would hate to see you lose it". I thought that was pretty Awesome, feeling the Marine Corps brotherhood. When I do get the cash together, I call him and tell him I have it and I can come pick up the truck. He was so nice and polite and went even a step further and said, If I brought him the money, he would actually TOW MY TRUCK ALL THE WAY BACK TO MY HOUSE IN SOUTH COUNTY FOR ME....Whhaaaat?!?! That was unheard of!!! Now I don't have to find someone to take me to my truck! I was SUPER impressed and very thankful. So I get to their office, meet with the owner, and paid the $950. As we were both Marine Vets, we had plenty to talk about, including his 17 year old dog. After a few minutes of chatting it up, he asked if I had the keys to the truck so he could tow it home. I handed the keys over and we both took off. He said the truck would be home when I got there. When I got home the truck was parked right in front of the house, just like he said. I got in the truck to move it, and it cranked right up, BUT THEN it didn't go into Drive. The gear shift just slid very smoothly down...I thought that was weird, so I slid it back and forth some more to see if it would catch. I got out and looked around at the vehicle, because that's what men do when they can't figure out what was going on, then back in and it tried it again. Nothing! Come to find out, the truck was pushed/pulled around while in park. Explanation: When a vehicle is pulled around while in park, it can damage the linkages all the way back to the transmission. It can cause damage to the transmission as well. In park there is a pawl inside the transmission that fits into a slot to hold the transmission and the car in place. If you pull a vehicle while in park, with the wheels down, the pawl will eventually break. The fix for this is extremely expensive. So now all the politeness, going to extra mile for a Veteran brother, even the BS chit chat to keep me feeling warm and fuzzy is all clear. They damaged my entire transmission, the linkages, etc., knew they did, and then towed it home for me at no charge. I ended up getting rid of the truck after finding out the cost. I didn't go back to the Towing company about it because I really wasn't in a place to argue, and I promise, the character they showed in how they scammed me, showed me that going back to them would prove nothing but a fight that I don't have time for. That's my experience with Veterans Towing; A dishonest man and a disrespectful Marine. Disappointing. read more

My car was parked in a low high parking garage on the second floor. My friend told me there's no way to get the car out, unless you have a really smart, hot-shot towing company. Well, Veterans Towing are that hot shot towing company. They sent me a service guy who helped put it on a dolly and we pushed the car out of the garage and then onto the towing company. Maybe all towing companies know how to do this? In any case, their service staff was courteous and seemed genuinely concerned for my plight. Highly recommend. read more
