Today's visit and the downtown Austin location hit the mark on everything except one thing... temperature. There were two of us dining and we had the chicken enchiladas and the green chile beef. We added sides of Kung Pao cauliflower and the Thai Brussel Sprouts. While most of it came out warm enough or hot, the beef dish was lukewarm at best. I didn't complain but it was disappointing as food like this tastes better hot and it gives you confidence about food safety as well to have warm items served at temperature. We had absolutely no complaints regarding our dining experience. Caroline is affiliated with the Marriott Element and Aloft hotels and that, I believe, where the affiliation ends. I try to avoid hotel eateries but I've had great dining experiences at hotels like the JW Marriott in Austin. We, four, stopped by on a Sunday AM for breakfast and we had a great time. They do have brunch cocktails available and their bloody Mary's were deemed excellent with just the right amount of spice. My bloody Maria was on point and we all got our Sunday Funday started. Breakfast was wonderful. Our eggs arrived cooked perfectly. The pepper bacon and real potato sides were off the charts delicious. They also offer a few TexMex breakfast options and Plus one was raving about her Huevos Rancheros plate. Service was excellent even though they became busy our server was very attentive.
