Food was very good, which is why I am rounding up to 4 stars. We had a reservation and although it was mistakenly written down for the wrong night, the staff still seated us right away, which we appreciated. We chose the outdoor patio which is nice, but it sits right next to the train tracks. The trains seemed to be passing every 10-15 minutes and they were extremely loud, making conversation nearly impossible until they passed. It wasn't the restaurants fault, but it did make it hard to have a nice meal and catch up with family. Regardless, it was still better than dining inside which was unbearably loud. The penne with a hearty bolognese sauce, and the bread with olive oil and balsamic was incredible. The skirt steak and Caesar salad also looked delicious. A couple of small things: there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, and my uncles water glass had a small crack, but it was quickly replaced by our server. I would consider coming back after the season ends, when Atlantic Ave isn't such a mob scene. read more

Great service and good happy hour deals. Cute place in the middle of busy Atlantic avenue in Delray Beach. This restaurant is very spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was pretty good. It comes out very fast so not sure if some of it is pre-made. Entrees are big portions and pasta are saucy. The menu is extensive so there js something for everyone. Parking can be challenging since this place is located in a very busy main street. So come with time and patience. Went on a Saturday night with a reservation. The maître d' sent us inside, but no one was around--waited 5 minutes before someone showed up. We chose to sit outside to avoid the music, which was fine except for bright lights from passing cars. Service was just okay. I had a card for a complimentary appetizer, but they said it was no longer valid since it was from a closed venue. We ordered chicken marsala, clams with pasta, chicken, and sliced tuna. Bread came before the meal, but getting more water was tricky. The restroom had a bucket for a ceiling leak, which was not great. Food was decent, but overall it's a bit pricey. Would probably only come back for happy hour or special occasions. Somehow the coat has really gotten too pricey for my taste! read more

We came for happy hour, they had a food and drink menu both 50% off, we were debating on where to go when the gentleman at the entrance told us he could seat us for happy hour with our young children at a low top table. We got a couple margaritas, a paloma, beer, and an old-fashioned. The old-fashioned was not great but the margaritas were excellent, especially the strawberry jalapeño! We ordered six drinks, two appetizers, one salad, and three entrées and our total was $120! We tried the meatballs (they were gigantic as the menu showcased), the Caprese salad, chicken Parmesan, gluten-free vodka pasta with chicken, and their chicken wings The service was great, she actually took the old-fashioned off our bill and let him swap it with a different drink because it tasted a little weird. The classic margarita was pretty tasty and I appreciate the bar tender asking if I wanted salt or sugar. He was quick, attentive, and helpful! My meal was surprisingly huge. I actually was able to share with my mom and we were both stuffed. The chicken was butterfly cut, breaded, then topped with light sauce and a generous heaping of cheese. It was perfect. I sat outside with some friends and just had cocktails while watching the people and the train. He brought a basket of bread and a full carafe of water, as he said it was important to stay hydrated, and checked on us without making us feel rushed or in the way. Their bread is a ciabatta roll, opened, buttered, toasted with garlic salt, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it, and cut up into strips. Amazing by itself. The service was particularly concerning--the waitress was unfriendly, unhelpful, and, at one point, even threw a menu at our table. That behavior was unacceptable and left our entire group feeling upset and unwelcome. Beyond the service issues, we were also dissatisfied with the food and the overall dining experience. The quality of the food was below expectations, and the experience as a whole did not justify a return visit based on this occasion alone. While I am willing to give the restaurant another chance under different circumstances, it is disappointing to see patrons treated this way. Stopped here on a whim while walking to the beach. I got the Nonna's Sunday Gravy and my friend ordered the Rigatoni Alla Norma with a side of mashed potatoes. I thought the Sunday Gravy was great with thick robust noodles and plenty of meat, was able to take home half for a second meal later. My friend said her pasta was good and her mashed potatoes were very smooth, but lacking some seasoning. Service was a bit on the slow side for the amount of people inside but not bad. I also noticed that my table was not served complimentary bread when it appeared other tables were, but that may be because we were taking advantage of their happy hour and sat at a high top. The restaurant is cute, just very warm since they keep the doors open and have no fans. The happy hour is a great deal! 50% off all food items until 7pm. 4 stars because without the happy hour this place would be severely overpriced in my opinion. We ordered a bottle of wine and I opted for the lasagna...perfect combination with the bread. The taste of the lasagna was great. I liked the tangy sauce and the portion size...just right. There was no issue with the service. I did find it fairly expensive for what we ordered. My friends advised they normally do the Happy Hour at the downtown Delray Beach establishments and they are much better deals. Next time then if back in the Delray Beach. I had to ask for another glass of wine when he stopped by the table to check on me. Didn't ask about a wine refill and started walking away so i had to ask him myself. I just don't get it. Then he just dropped off the check without asking me if I wanted another drink, dessert, etc. i was very surprised. I had my after dinner cocktail picked out in my mind and was contemplating dessert. Have had this spot in mind since New Year's Day and just tried it almost a year of craving. Went to the point with our pastas. Sadly mine wasn't as what i've tried before. Sauce was too thick, cheese seemed to have been mixed with the sauce which what i've had is that the cheese is at the end of the bowl, like the pieces melting underneath it. House sangria was good tbh, some places make it too sweet but this was good. Tiramisu really good. Im picky with my desserts so this were my pistachio ice cream Server was attentive. This is like a place where old school mafia might hang out. It definitely gives off goombah vibes- from the owner to the waiter to the customers sitting next to us.
