Mixed seafood Ceviche and Kola :)

Thanks to Yelp, I found Vicki's Place for Ceviche! I have driven by it so many times (whynI live Yelp). Its a quaint family owned restaurant with personalized service. I opted for the mixed ceviche, and the portion, presentation, and quality EXCEEDED my expectations! And for the price!? The owners a sweet and offer warm welcomes. Its a neighborhood fav I could tell by all the folks taking orders out on a Sunday evening. Fun fact, they offer Salvadorian food as well. Stop by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You won't be disappointed!

    Lomo Saltadao with tomato sauce

My first time eating at Vicki's place, we ordered papa a la huancaina, I was told they didn't have potatoes. What type of Peruvian restaurant doesn't have potatoes? I ask if they had potatoes for a Lomo Saltado, I was told they did had French fries ( frozen ) my Lomo Saltado was tasty but it wasn't authentic, it came with a red tomato sauce. We order 2 Chicha morada that were extremely sweet and lacking lemon juice, it was undrinkable. Service was good but the food was less than average.

Favorite place in the valley when I'm craving some pupusas. The service is excellent and welcoming!! Seating is plentiful and clean. The food speaks for itself. It's made fresh and with love. I highly recommend Vicki's to anyone

Sooo good love these pupusas and the people are really nice too I got the beans and cheese pupusas and they even added chicken upon request. Bomb

This hole in the wall restaurant not only offers delicious food, but also excellent service. From the moment you walk through the door you feel like you've entered your family home. I was a bit skeptical about a Salvi/peruvian fusion establishment, but I was proven wrong. I ordered the Lomo saltado and my husband ordered the revuelta pupusas from their Tuesday special menu. The meat in the Lomo was savory, juicy, and well marinated. The Ají sauce was too creamy not to my liking so I didn't use it on my dish. The pupusas were perfectly filled with revulta stuffing and not greasy at all. Their Maracuyá drink was also delicious, not sweet at all. We will be coming back soon.

Very good pupusas plus they allow you to customize with or without cheese. Their Atol de elote is delicious. Definitely recommend them.

They have remodeled their seating area so more people can fit and dine in. I decided to get a breakfast plate since it was still morning. I went with their "huevos Rancheros" that is served with refired beans, cream, cheese and fried plantains. I asked for a side of bread which was nice and toasty upon arrival. The plate's presentation was simple yet served neatly. The only downside was their refried beans seemed to be on the watery side but still tasted good. For my drink, I went with a hot coffee. Refills are offered for people dining in. The times I have visited, the place has not disappointed.

There are some spots in the back, but I've found street parking easily both times I've gone. Inside, the restaurant is decorated with all sorts of nods to El Salvador, including a super iconic soccer jersey and even some Salvi beers. The workers were all friendly and accommodating. The food is GREAT!! The pupusas are good. Cortido is awesome. I really liked the pasteles, even though I've only had handmade before, so I was skeptical, but they were so good, I devoured way more than I meant to!! I really did mean to have leftovers from my order, but I only have one remaining pastele- they come with three to an order. I will continue ordering from here and hopefully I'll have a chance to eat at the restaurant next time! So good!

The pastelitos were tiny, and to make matters worse, I found myself chewing on something purple it looked like a piece of fabric or a rag. Absolutely disgusting. After the fact, I saw that other people have reported getting food poisoning from this place, which is really concerning. The pupusas were also jammed into a small container, making them messy and unappetizing. I only ordered from here because it was nearby, but I definitely won't be coming back.
