The pupusas are HUGE and nicely flavored. The pupusas are super cheesy, so you get a beautiful cheese pull when you rip them in half. The curtido is thinly cut and it looks like small spaghetti like particles but it's delicious and fresh. The staff is kind. The parking isn't that great. Good luck finding parking in the lot or in the street but when you do, this spot is worth visiting. read more

Nice spot in a small strip mall in NoHo. Have been here twice for lunch on a weekday. Have had the same waitress/server both visits and her service is excellent. I only came for the pupusas which are big and well stuffed. Total was about $35 for 4 pupusas, order of plátanos fritos and two aguas. Parking may be an issue depending on day/time you visit. The reviews on here don't do this place justice. I haven't had good Salvadoran food since I lived in Huntington park. Great ambiance...a ton of tables and seats in the restaurant. They have a decent sized parking lot, which they do share with other businesses. The food is authentic Salvadoran food, and my favorite being pupusas. We were looking for a good place to get papusas and sopa de patas. The papusas were large and stuffed with lots of cheese. There was tons of soup and they packaged everything really well for our trip back North. The service was great, but I would call ahead if you're wanting to get it quick. Today I wanted to enjoy some delicious Salvadoran food and the waitress taking the phone order was rude and when I tried placing the order didn't seem she wanted customers to eat at the establishment. She let us know it was a 45 minute wait. I told her it was fine. She still insisted it was a long wait. I still told her we were going to eat here. When we arrived she was not helping the other waitress. There were 4 tables not cleaned. Food arrived and it's missing the guacamole and missing the tortillas. The soup is not the same as it was 1 year ago. The waitress seem to ask like they don't want you to eat here. Order a Desayuno Salvordiarion and a chicken empanada. She brings a TAMALE and when I ask her about it she that I said a Tamale which sounds nothing like a Empanada. So that's was one then breakfast plate comes out which was ok but they completely burnt the chorizo and then have the nerve to put on the plate. The chorizo was so burnt it would crack your teeth. The pupusas at this place are not good. They're not cooked all the way. The mass is too soft and they're too salty. I had to cook them on the pan. Great place for families! Came with my in laws and the pupusas are great here! They're so big I couldn't even finish 2. My kiddo loved it as well as the pollo asado. The beef soup was well-made with fresh ingredients and a tasty and non-greasy broth, which was both satisfying and healthy. Others in our party enjoyed the chicken asada plate and a plate that looked like machaca con huevos... Which my friend said was fantastic. All the menu items seemed fresh, well-prepared, flavorful and visually appealing. Icing on the cake was the friendly service and really nice owner who greeted and checked-in on us. Fantastic food, fantastic athmosphere! We found this place as we drove by, coming from Burbank Airport. What a find! The food is great (we had pupusas and Asada plate with chorizo). My husband and I have been to this place a couple of times and boy they are not consistent with their food. There were times that our pollo encebollado was really savory and then there were the extremely salty and yucky ones. The pupusas here are average and again inconsistent with the tomato sauce. I am Filipina and have eaten food all over the world and have had Salvadorean foord from my friends Salvi mothers and there is a big difference. I will recommend this place but hope you guys get the good times. As for my visit today, I ordered atole de elote and I liked it a lot.
