Drinks :)
Chelsea A.

A great place to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat. Came here off late night after it was one of the few places selling food late night. Pizza was a hit, drinks did snag if needed to do and service was solid. No real complaints. Kinda like a dive bar feel.

Happy birthday to me

Definitely a great place for late night pizza and delicious drinks. They don't have straws because they are apart of the ocean wildlife conservation movement (which is awesome because animals rule!) I come here a lot because the bartender are hard working people who have seen so many fun crazy times here and they always making sure everyone is having a great time. Their AC is one of the best on a hot day. Tell them Ruby sent you.

This bar just recently re-opened. It's the anomaly in CBD - a neighborhood bar frequented by locals in midst of the hotels and tourists that spill over from French Quarter. Definitely a laid back vibe - come here for beer and a plate of jambalaya!

Best dive bar experience we had in Nola. Friendly staff, killer jukebox, fun bar games, cool people. The pizza was everything we needed at 1am and more.

Cash only $10 hot and greasy pizza! Not fresh but great for when you are at the local bars and need a bite to eat. Also a great place to grab a drink.

Great signage.

This bar is killing it in the signage game. I've come by twice, and here's what the sign read: 1. Abs are cool, but have you tried beer? 2. Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Beer before liquor, you'll be OK. Don't be a little bitch. I pretty much agree strongly with both those statements, especially since they used the correct version of 'you're.' On top of that, the drinks are strong, the people are cool, and there's a pool table.

Huge cans of Fosters. Refreshing and really cold! Took me all the way to the other side of the river walk to finish it!

The Sit Down Comedienne and Red Bean absolutely stole the show. Their timing, delivery, and audience interaction had the room laughing from start to finish. A few of the other comics are still finding their rhythm, but that's part of the charm of supporting emerging talent. Located just across from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, The Howlin' Wolf Den was easy to find. It was fully wheelchair accessible and much larger inside than its exterior suggests. The venue also features a full bar and a reasonably priced finger food menu, making it a great place to spend an evening. Overall, it was a relaxed, entertaining night filled with plenty of laughs and a great way to kick off my New Orleans visit. #TysAdventures26 #HowlinWolfDen #GumbeauxComedy #NewOrleans #WheelchairAccessible #SupportLocalComedy #RedBean #TheSitDownComedienne

Food 3.5/5 Service 4/5…read moreAmbiance 4.5/5 I was visiting New Orleans for the weekend, and being tired from a flight in, I wanted something close to the hotel. My friends picked a spot, and we went - and we had no regrets. There was one man running the whole kitchen the night we came in, and he was doing great, although he was very busy. Food came out great, my friends had the "Badass Burger" which they all praised, especially the fresh fries. I personally had the Hot 8 Sampler and a simple Bacon Quesadilla - and those were no slouch either. If I had anything to complain about, it's that the price is a little high for the food you get. Though, that's to be expected so close to the convention center in a dive like this. Overall, my friends and I had a great experience - and we'd all be happy to come back.
