The beer is cold and they have several TVs to watch your favorite team. We were there during the NCAA tournament and they had several games on. The cocktails are great too! I had a hurricane and then a local beer from Abita Brewing that was pretty tasty. The bartender was friendly and had some recommendations regarding places to check out during our visit. read more

When I got hungry, I checked their menu and asked for recommendations before ordering... Bourbon street can extremely touristy and hard to find a authentic bar. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon La Booze and it was refreshing. I was able to watch the game and order drinks. However, what made the experience was the bartender Alex. She wasn't pushing drinks but made sure my cup was full when I was thirsty. Highly recommend. read more

Pretty nice little place in the French Quarters of New Orleans. It's definitely a dive bar with one large bar in the middle surrounded with bar stools. They have beers on the tap, bottle beers, and certainly mixed drinks. However, their mixed drinks menu is not as big since the lack many of the ingredients. So basically just order the not so fancy simple drinks. And guess what we ordered...? Yep, more Vodka with Cranberry juice, and of course more beer. LOL. The drinks are inexpensive. So we drank while watching the NBA basketball game (LA Clippers vs OKC Thunder). It was cool! The bartender was really accommodating. He was a nice guy. Yes, a bit light headed but fun! This place is definitely a dive, and it's very chilled. You probably won't find a place like this in glamorous LA. Well, maybe around the hood. Ha! This place was alright (in a very good way). Didn't expect much, just wanted to watch the Germany-Italy game of Euro16. Luckily there was hardly anyone in here in the afternoon. The bartenders were friendly, educating us on drink specials (Heineken buckets and so forth). The food was very good, too. I had a roast beef Po Boy that was finger-lickin' good. It's tacked on to the Royal Sonesta Hotel but you might not even know it by the looks of it. Unpretentious and comfortable for sports with 360-degree wall-to-wall large screens. read more

This place is not closed as I thought last year. The daiquiri shop is on the Marigny side and Le Booze is on the Canal St. side. Maybe I was drunker than I thought whilst walking by..or tired. That's it. I was really tired. This is a great basic bar on Bourbon where that sort of thing is rare. The bartenders are good (although do not expect craft cocktails here) and efficient. In New Orleans, the legendary Bourbon Street is full of sin. And by sin, I mean vomit, discarded thongs, booze, beads, and boobs. If you need an escape from the debauchery on Bourbon Street, you should consider stepping into LeBooze. Most of the clientele here is fully clothed, chatting in their deep voices, sipping on scotch, smoking cigars, and showing off a little chest hair. And these are just the women that I am talking about. Kidding. Kidding aside, the place has a classy feel with dark brown wood furnishings, some big screens, and a very professional and polite staff. My bartender looked like Jon Bon Jovi. Yes, that Jon Bon Jovi. The guy that your wife thinks about whenever she needs to get herself in the mood. You know, in the mood to clean the kitchen. Anyway, after every round I would buy for my clients, I would say things like... "Oh! Oh! Drinkin' on a prayer!" "Your drink is like bad medicine. Bad medicine is what I need!" "It's my life! It's now or never!" The bartender was not pleased, but he was a good sport about it. He fueled up my clients, so I could take him to other less than desirable joints on Bourbon Street. Le Booze is your typical Bourbon St ultra clean but still extremely non sober for the middle aged crowd. Its absolutely spotless and does not smell of spring break vomit. The gentleman tending bar was incredibly nice, diligent, and professional. Gotta say though I didn't return. A lite beer was $5 for a 12oz bottle. They may have a hard time keeping that up when Big Ass Beer is $3 across the street. read more

I took a quick walk down bourbon, my first and last. And stopped at the only place that looked clean, well attended, and safe. Tommy at the bar gave me two glasses of pino Grigio and a little (fresh) personal cup of spicy trail mix. It was nice until the throngs filtered in and the "WOOOOO!" girls arrived. Have been going there over 20 years & always had great friendly service which has resulted in 4-6 hours stay. Went there Sunday and the bartender Michelle was rude and uninterested in doing her job. There was only us and 3 of her friends in the bar. In the time we had 1 drink 4 couples walked in sat down & she never acknowledged them and of course they walked out. She was more interested in her friends and the music she was playing on her phone then making herself or the bar owner any money.
