I come to Victory Coffee for their lavender soy latte--they're amazing. I don't know of any other coffee shop that carries lavender syrup. I've also tried the croissant breakfast sandwich and the cuban breakfast sandwich. They're both delicious and I totally enjoy the side of nuts/trail mix the breakfast items come with. Victory Coffee is a cute little place in the middle of the channelside district with a very industrial feel. It serves yummy coffee and light meals as well. They have a delicious breakfast sandwich (try it on the Cuban bread!) as well as some wraps and other sandwiches that I have enjoyed. For coffee, they can make just about anything you want and have a huge variety of syrups for flavor. The staff is friendly and if you are a regular they will pick up tidbits about your life and check in on how things are going. One of my only complaints is that their chairs aren't the most comfortable. As a student I often frequent coffee shops for a cool place to get some work done while eating/drinking delicious things. Some of the chairs can be just uncomfortable after a while. All in all though, I've enjoyed each visit I've had to Victory, and it's definitely a place people should check out! read more

This is a very cute little neighborhood coffee bar! I'm giving only 4 stars because the food service was a little slow and parking was difficult, but everything else was great besides that! I LOVED my Chai Frappe. So delicious and creamy! The drinks came out quickly. I also ordered the bacon, egg & cheese on an Everything Bagel. It was very good; the eggs were fluffy and thick. They were so thick I couldn't really taste anything else though, and had to add a little extra cheese when I got home. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back. read more

While in town on business, I stopped here several times for my morning cappuccino. The coffee beans they use are great - one of the better cappuccinos I've had in florida. Then there's the breakfast menu - yogurt parfait, healthy breakfast burrito, and a couple of other things. Problem is, they can't seem to keep anything in stock. Of the four times that I came here (some days five minutes after they opened) they were out of at least 1 menu item from their list of 4. Not sure if this is a new place, but they need to figure out how to keep their kitchen stocked. All in all come for the coffee for sure, but don't count on anything else from victory. read more

I appreciate that they have both soy milk and almond milk for dairy alternatives. I have enjoyed all of the food items on the menu as well. The egg wrap and croissants are my favorite. I love finding locally-owned coffee shops when I visit a new town and walked to Victory Coffee shortly after checking into my hotel. At 4pm on a Sunday, this local shop was very quiet with only one other customer. The menu had a variety of unique tea and coffee drinks which is what drew me in. I settled on the Chestnutt Fog Tea Latte and waited for the two baristas to take my order. And waited. I love their coffee. I live across the street from them and always place large orders for my coworkers. My orders are always 7 lavender lattes, 4 w regular milk, 3 w coconut and one of them w less sugar. Everytime I call I get different answers like, " we don't take drink oders over the phone." Or "oh we do take large orders over the phone." They don't expect me to stand and wait there for 30 mins while they make the coffees. The guy was rude and hated me for "complicated order". You guys...at 7:30 am place was empty. There was one guy there who walked up after me. How hard it is to do your job and May be like it because you chose to be a barista. When I said, " you guys are really complicated and get your policies straight." The girl said, "yes we are". You know what complicated orders are: one mocha latte, with White chocolate shot, caramel on top, and add a expresso...times 7 orders all different. I cant wait for statbucks to open in this area...coffee might not be local but at least no one will ruin Friday w bad attitude. I don't think I was unreasonable. I have been coming here for past 3 years and very regularly for breakfast and cofee. I am probably going to turn away if I see those two working there. Not even a greeting...just pissy pants because they were asked to do their job‍. Btw they were out of coconut milk. And the almond/soy milk they added make cofee look really dark. I visited this place while in Tampa visiting a colleague. What a noisy, noisy coffee shop! I had my tablet and laptop and was unable to focus with the amount of noise. I asked politely if they could lower the volume, but I don't think they heard me because the music just got louder. Add that to the fact that the machines are constantly going, people are yapping, it's no coffee shop you want to visit if you just want to get some work done and enjoy your drink. Coffee was decent, however the noise in the place was just too much to bear. It's the Central Perk of Channelside where you get the chance to meet everyone who lives in your neighborhood and socialize while having a delicious cup of coffee or beer. The staff are really nice and talented. They offer great selection of sandwiched "Chicken Salad" *Hint * Hint. If the place changes the layout of the store and adds some couches it would be perfffffffect!!!! the chairs are OK, but to serve the purpose of a real neighborhood coffeehouse and to serve the purpose making it more of a socializing hub I think sofas and couches would be best. This coffee shop became my second home in Tampa. My daughter and I would walk here a couple times a week exploring our Channelside neighborhood and visiting the riverwalk and aquarium. I would like to start off with an apology for the 2 baristas working today when I came in with my husband and children to grab a cup of espresso. We interrupted *something* extremely important that they were doing and had the nerve to ask for coffee, which annoyed them very much..... We walked in the door and were greeted by....no one. A barista was standing behind the register and didn't acknowledge us until I walked over and stood directly in front of her. She begrudgingly asked if she could get me something, how polite. After the two baristas made our coffee while speaking and looking at us as little as possible, my husband went to pour himself a cup of water from the pitcher on the counter. There was DIRT or some other sorts of black specks in the water, but the baristas HAD LEFT THE COUNTER AND WENT TO THE BACK, so he had to reach over the counter and pour his water out himself. He went over to the side where he could see the baristas in the back and told them about the water and she didn't offer to give him any clean water, she just said "oh.". Wow. Alright, let me tell you about this bomb coffee shop. You walk in, and right away you know you're gonna have a great time. The shop has this awesome indie-eclectic vibe with just a touch of hipster, but without all the snob and typewriter use. They have all the latte options you could think of plus a bunch of options for tea - my favorite is the Bombay chai. I go there on the daily, and two workers come to mind; Jackie and Gary. I don't think they own it, but they should because I see them there all the time. There's a lot of traffic through the place and they're usually busy since it's so popular, but even when it's just one or two of them behind the counter and they're slammed you still get your order as quickly as they can make it. Even when it's busy and you know it's crazy, Jackie will still take the time to ask you how your day is going and make you not feel rushed. All the food is made in house and I swear, they must have somebody's nana locked back there baking because every morning, I come in and get either a scone or a muffin and you can taste the love. My favorite is the coconut chocolate almond scone, it tastes like some hot, shirtless cabana boy on a beach brought it to you. But like the late great Billy Mays once said, "But wait, there's more!" This place is more than just a necessity for your morning routine. Their kitchen is open all day, and they make THE BEST sandwiches. I'm not even kidding. My bubbe used to make me a salami sandwich every day cut in triangles (duh) for my school lunch, but it's basically a piece of cardboard with some mystery meat compared to what they serve at Victory. Their country cuban sandwich is salami, ham, turkey, swiss, sriracha mayo, and mustard, pressed on this buttery, melt-in-your-mouth, OMG-did-I-just-moan-in-public bread that makes you wonder if it possible to marry a sandwich. Because if I could, I would. One down side is that everybody in town is so crazy about this place that parking can be a bit hard to find sometimes, but nothing this fantastic comes without a bit of effort. That's just life for you - the universe wants you to work for your scone sometimes. An easy fix is just to never leave, which would probably involve losing your job, and abandoning your family. Just bribe them with that sandwich...I'm sure they'll understand. So long story short, whether or not you're in the mood for just a quick stop for some coffee and a cabana boy scone, or you need your life seriously improved by a sandwich, stop at Victory. Chances are they'll have what you're looking for, even if you didn't know what you wanted. read more

I stopped in here when I was visiting from out of town and wanted to pick up an iced coffee the night before a big day. I requested it without ice and the barrista warned me not to drink it then (6pm) or I wouldn't sleep a wink. I assured her it was for the following morning. I appreciated that she didn't charge me extra for ordering sans ice - one place did that to me and it made me feel nickle-and-dimed (though I get that sans ice means more coffee).
