The menu options during happy hour consisted of 1/2 off most appetizers and $6 margs from 3pm-7pm. I opted for the empanadas and a mango margarita, both were delicious. The empanadas came out piping hot with nice flavorful filling and the pastry was perfectly fried. Went for lunch and really enjoyed the first time visiting. Margaritas were good size for the price and food looked great. I enjoyed the outdoor patio and the decor. Will definitely be. Carrie helped us get a drink while waiting for our table to be ready. We were a little early. She recommended a wonderful margarita. Carrie is a treasure for sure. Our sever Hailey was so nice and took care of our big party effortlessly, she was wonderful also. The food is fantastic and I highly recommend. I really enjoyed our evening there. I can say why the wait can take a bit longer since Vidorra is right off the harbor in Rockwall. My Family and I decided to give them a try. Started with some great and delicious drinks. Hands Down!!! Our server John was great when asked for recommendations. My wife got the Chicken fajitas and she said they were delicious. On my food options I believe I order the wrong plate. I ordered the Pollo de Crema, which was definitely not what I expected, the chicken was just flavorless and I thought it would be a chicken breast, but it was actual fried chicken. Maybe next time I'll try their enchiladas or tacos. The Molcajetes are good also. The place had great atmosphere and great music. We were seated on the patio, which initially didn't seem that bad since they had fans. Here's the rub. They seated our party of six at a table with a puddle of water from the earlier rain under it. How about taking that squeegee over there and getting some of this water out? Completely clueless. Then there were the flies. Don't get me started. So atmosphere and service "F." I came here with my husband and in-laws for happy hour on a Friday evening. This place looks and feels as though you're somewhere in Mexico. Beautiful and definitely insta worthy.They were busy but the wait wasn't long at all. We only had a few mins left for happy hour but our waiter Kevin was absolutely amazing. He was able to take everyone's order with the happy hour pricing. They gave us complementary chips and salsa . The chips have a wonderful seasoning and the salsas were fresh and tasty. My husband and I decided to have a date night here. Luckily we went early (around 4-ish) on a Friday and we were able to grab a table before the rush. As mentioned in other reviews, the music was very loud. But we were still able to have a nice time. We shared a queso which came out in a large sizzling bowl. Yum! My street tacos and side of elotes were super delicious. My husband ordered the barbacoa enchiladas which were ok; he said he's probably try something else next time. Really loved the vibes of this restaurant! So much plant decor. We felt like we were on vacation! The chips and salsa were good. Some drinks were really tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the frozen margaritas. They had too much sugar. All the food we tried was yummy. I love the volcanic stone meals presentation. The food and ambiance is great, the service is really bad though. We've been there twice now and both times we received our food before they provided us with silverware. I asked one of the managers for utensils and even she had a hard time finding some, we she did find it, I had to step in front of her to get it, she just smiled and gave it to me without an apology. We looked around and saw other patrons experience the same. We ran out of water while eating, we had to flag our waitress down to order more water and we were done with our meal before she returned with any. They have a serious gap in their process, they have plenty of workers cleaning tables so they can get more people in but lack the attention to their current customers in order to provide a great dining experience. Focus more on your customers and money will follow. read more

Started with the white queso. It's pretty good although it should come with taco meat some other protein options. Beef fajitas did not come out medium rare, but were more well done. But they were good. Charro beans over the black beans all day long. Birra tacos are very wet...and it's not so much a consumme as a bit of a greasy dip. The tacos didn't need it, so I didn't use it. Rice was good. Chips were good. Red salsa preferred over the green. So fresa drink was pretty good. Didn't feel like they skimped on the alcohol, so that's a plus. read more

Make sure to read till the end to find out why I gave this restaurant 5 stars. When I initially walked in, I was taken back by the overall design of the interior. It was very well done and the lighting was just right. I was shown to my table and within a few minutes, a young gentleman brought out some chips and salsa and a water. The chips were well seasoned and still nice and warm. The red and the green salsa were both equally delicious. Shortly after, Valeria (my waitress) politely greeted me and took my order. I already knew what I wanted from seeing a previous review. I ordered the EL CHURRASCO. It's a 10 oz Pasilla Crusted Skirt Steak, Chimichurri, Lime Crema, and Smoked Potatoes. About 10 minutes or so went by and Valeria brought my entree out. It looked incredible!!! I quickly found out that looks weren't everything. I attempted to cut into the steak and realized that not only was the knife somewhat dull, but the steak itself was quite tough, although it was still medium rare-ish. However, It did have a great flavor. I decided to move over to the potatoes. The exterior/skin was rather hard and even the inside seemed quite a bit over done. The waitress came by shortly after and I politely informed her of the slight issues with my food. She immediately insisted on making it right, all while maintaining a smile. After talking with the waitress for a few moments, I agreed to letting them remake it. 10 minutes or so went by and she returned with the new and improved El Churrasco. I took the backside of the knife and barely pressed onto the potatoes and it instantly punctured it. Good sign number 1. I then slightly pressed onto the steak and I could tell immediately that it was perfectly cooked. I cut into it and tried a bite and instantly fell in love with the perfect mixture of flavor and texture. At one point, I told Valeria how much I loved chimichurri. She decided on her own to bring me out a side of their chimichurri rice to try. Of course it was amazing. Due to the great service from my waitress and the kind manager who came by and made the entire situation right; this is why I'm giving them 5 stars. read more

The managers have been so kind and understanding in a few situations, professionals who care about their guests, their staff, and your overall experience.
