Don't judge a book by its cover, and this applies to this hidden gem bakery as well! I was expecting to see a whole display of cakes when I walk in, but I didn't. It looks like they mainly sell custom cakes for pickups. The interior was very clean and simple with all the plants. I asked if they have any small cakes for sale and she pointed me to this other fridge behind the rotating cake display. There were a couple of small cakes, but I got the Italian Cream and my sister got the Black Forest. The Asian lady was super sweet. She brought us the pieces and some water so we can dine in. The cakes were so light and reminded me of my favorite bakery back in Kansas. The flavors were good and it wasn't crazy sweet either. I wish they had more flavors available so I can try them all to know my favorites. They mainly sell custom cakes so that's probably what I'm going to order for the next family gathering. Custom cakes are around $30-50 which isn't bad judging by the size and taste. I wish they were closer so I don't have to drive an hour the next time I'm craving some French cakes!

I ordered a tiramisu cake for my mom's birthday and it was phenomenal! I ordered the cake at 9am and it was ready same day at 4pm.

We decided to give this place a try since their cakes looked nice but we were greatly disappointed. First things first when we got to the place it smelled horrible, think the smell was bleach or something. There was no staff and we had to wait for the worker to end their phone call to get attended. We ordered one carrot cake and one black forest cake. The Carrot Cake was terrible, the cake itself was alright at best but the cream cheese was laughably bad because it had clearly been left out for a while. The Black Forest cake was just alright. Overall definitely not coming back.

Delicious delights await you here! This spot was a nice surprise. It was my first time here. I "needed" some good baked goods. I got the pate chaud, mocha cake, dark chocolate mousse cake, palmier, chocolate pecan bar, and coconut gelatin panna cotta. Yes, I went all out :-) I appreciated that these bakery items are flavorful without being overly sugary sweet. Everything was quite tasty and fresh. The pate chaud made for the perfect breakfast bite. I know I tasted some ground pork in them, but I'm not sure what other meat filling was in them. The pastry dough was buttery and flakey. This spot is tucked away in a strip mall. There is plenty of parking. I'll have to careful about this spot --- I refuse to gain the "covid 15." :-D

This France inspired bakery has a decent selection of desserts. There are plenty of places to sit, beautiful and tall plants for decor and the lady who served me was patient. I ended up getting the almond croissant and a mocha macaroon. If you are paying with card there is a $5 limit. The almond croissant was big and flavorful. The mocha flavored macaroon was crisp and delicious. The pricing is on par with other bakery shops. All in all cute shop near the north east mall. #smallbusinesssaturday

Delicious cakes! We got chocolate mousse, strawberry shortcake, black Forrest. These are not your average cakes.

Adorable French bakery that's tucked away in a strip mall. It was our first time here because we were pleasantly surprised at how adorable the place looked from the inside, plenty of sitting inside lots of plants, and delicious baked goods just waiting to be eaten. I tried the pecan bar, German chocolate and blackberry cake. Everything was a good, a little on the dry side but it wasn't too sweet. They also have premade cakes if you need one last minute!

We love this little Parisian bakery!! A total find as we were across the street looking at comic books and were hungry for a little dessert. There is an amazing variety from breads to tarts to eclairs! My daughter had the pecan tart and was so delighted, ate the entire thing in one swoop! My little daughter loves macarons and both of her most favorite flavors were there. Perfect little cozy spot to sit down, have a delicious treat, and relax on a saturday afternoon!

Is this a good place to meet for coffee?

Most people only come here to order cakes/pastries to go, very few would stay and eat or drink coffee. Plus I think they only have the very basic coffee.

We started with the complimentary bread, and the butter served with it was so delicious I wanted to buy some--unfortunately, they don't sell it. For appetizers, my husband ordered the French onion soup, and I chose the escargot. He thoroughly enjoyed the soup. The escargot was enjoyable, though not my personal favorite. I especially liked the foie gras pâté, which was rich, creamy, and flavorful. For the mains, my husband had the beef tenderloin with cognac-black peppercorn sauce and thin French fries. He said the steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was exceptional. I ordered the duck breast, which was tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For dessert, we shared the brandy ice, which was refreshing and similar to a smoothie, and I had the classic crème brûlée, which was a wonderful way to end the meal.

We spent about 2 hours enjoying the offerings of the restaurant. They advertise a minimum of $59 per guest, but unless you frugally navigate the menu and order water I would plan to spend $100-150 per diner to get the full experience . Location: the restaurant is in a very small cottage style "house", which was PERFECT. It had so much character and really was a unique dining experience. We loved the restaurant - and had zero issues with parking. Food (and wine): the food was very good and honestly you get a lot of it. We did French onion soup, scallops, tartare, steak frites, duck, the included salad, and two desserts. Everything was genuinely very well prepared. The only thing we did not enjoy were the scallops, they were seared on one side and honestly just seemed underdone - but we're not scallop experts by any means so take that with a grain of salt. Everything else was very very good. I would highly recommend the steak frites and the duck. We will 100% come back just for the food alone. We let our waitress and the wine expert guide us with a tailored wine paring with each grouping of our dishes. This experience was very well executed - and don't skip the wine room, take a look. Service: the service was good, not amazing. The staff to table ratio felt overwhelmingly in favor of the staff, but the service didn't necessarily directly reflect that. We were celebrating a birthday which was articulated in our reservation but unfortunately that was overlooked but happily accommodated when mentioned. This was prime time on a Saturday and we were in no hurry, so not really a major impact for us. Someone who was a stickler for perfect service on a rather expensive meal might say otherwise. Overall we had a great time, and will certainly be back. Thanks for providing Fort Worth with a taste of France!

The decor and overall ambiance are definitely picture-perfect and create a great setting for celebrations, girls' outings, or anyone looking for a cute, photo-worthy experience. Unfortunately, the menu selections were a bit too limited for our preferences. We decided to try a few different items, but the food didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the photos. While everything looked appealing, the flavors were underwhelming. The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks--they were well-crafted, enjoyable, and probably the main reason I would recommend stopping by. Service was attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful tea party atmosphere, great photo opportunities, and tasty drinks, this spot may be worth checking out. However, if you're visiting primarily for the food, it may not meet the expectations created by its social media presence. For me, it was a one-time experience, and I likely wouldn't return.

They were happy to be there serving great tasting food and you could feel their pride. Many people were chatting away enjoying company in an intimate room. A great spot for a date. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed their French bread from a wholesale french bakery in dallas with their housemade butter. It was delicious. I made a mess of crumbs and I was glad the server came by to clean them up. Delicious though! We ordered the French onion soup, scallop appetizer with side of carrots, wagyu and fries. The French onion soup was ah-ma-zing! Perfectly seasoned (not overly salted like some like to do) and the cheese and onions really stood out. The scallops surprised me with the walnuts. I've never had that combo and enjoyed it. The appetizer portion turned out to be the perfect size along with the other items we ordered. The wagyu was just okay for me. It was soft and nicely cooked but under salted. I did love the peppercorns with it. The frites were wonderfully crispy and had an addicting seasoning on top. Lastly, the star of the show: decaf cappuccino with their pistachio coconut crisp with berries on top of a citrus sponge. Presentation was top notch and taste was mouth watering. You will not regret ordering this dessert! More praise to their cappuccino is needed. Awhile ago I searched for the best cappuccino in Fort Worth and I never found it. Well, tonight I did. Wonderful thick froth and freshly grated nutmeg on top. The chef came out to check each table after finishing their main course; I appreciated this personal touch that seems to be in everything they do. I will gladly return to enjoy another wonderful meal at Paris 7th.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!
