Wow what a great find. Vietspot has super reasonable prices and decent quality pho. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles were decent. It's the perfect meal if it's cold outside. The only thing is I wish there was a little more sliced beef, but at this price point you can't complain. I don't think there are very many options for pho in Fidi and while there are definitely better places in New York, this is a great option if you need something quick in the area for cheap. read more

Very popular spot in Fidi for lunch. Pretty big portions for the price. Lots of pieces of pork and also pickled vegetables and salad. Make sure you check your receipt because the cashier put down grilled chicken when I thought I said pork chop rice. Luckily she corrected it. Seems like they make things relatively fresh, otherwise it wouldn't take 20 mins to cook. Maybe order ahead if you have a meeting after lunch. read more

3.5 stars. Solid lunch spot if you have a craving for Vietnamese food and work around the area. I wouldn't make any special trips to come here but if you happen to be close by and have a hankering for a banh mi, this is a good option out of the very few Vietnamese places in Financial District. The restaurant has a few seats (more like a lunch counter) but is small and narrow so better as a takeout spot. read more

I LOVE Banh Mi. This is a little place. But they make KILLER Banh Mi. Both he Classic and the Chicken were perfect. Plenty of toppings...which many places get wrong. Bread was perfect...and delicious filling. read more

I found the Vietspot from passing by many times while going to Blink FiDi. The smell of their Pho soups is pretty obvious when you walk by this hole-in-wall restaurant. I only tried their beef pho twice afterwork. The portions are big and filling for their price. BTW, I noticed an $1 increase recently for all their menu items. Overall, I really enjoyed their pho and I don't have to commute to Chinatown when a random Viet food craving strikes. NOTE: This place is pretty small. There are about 10-12 stool seating. read more

Found this spot after coming from an appt. Nice and small, they asked for my vaccination card as I was doing indoor dining. I ordered the beef pho with raw beef (you can get cooked). The broth was flavored well and had a lot of depth to eat. The noodles were perfectly cooked and all the veggies were fresh and firm. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I felt that the broth could of been hotter. Overall, great flavor and I'll definitely go back again. read more

I visited because I was Craving some pho. I ordered pork chop pho with vegan broth. I think the food was pretty good. I don't think they use MSG in their food Because it was not salty at all. The vegan broth tasted authentic but at the same time, it was not really flavorful or seasoned. Some MSG or salt would have helped. The portion was also a bit small compared to what I usually get at my go-to pho place. It was double the price of my usual PHO place, But half the size. It was also not as good as my usual pho place. I don't think I'll be visiting again. TL;DR - okay pho for being one of the few pho places in the area, but wouldn't visit again, pho is mediocre read more

Walking home from the gym, I seriously couldn't resist the smell! They have amazing lunch combo options. I opted for the Pho + App + soda for $21. I loved that they had a fish ball option for the pho, I've never had that but typically love them in hot pots! So I definitely didn't pass that option up, for broth I went for the spicy beef which honestly was the perfect amount of flavor and spice, noodle definitely the vermicelli . The main reason they scored me was they offer summer rolls on the menu which are my absolute favorite! Something about the texture of the paper and shrimp is always a go for me. YUM! Already excited due to the menu and smells once I received my food I was very impressed with the amount! The Summer Rolls were huge! They definitely didn't gyp you on the shrimp either, so many! The pho was perfect so many balls!! I was very impressed. Lol As. I mentioned I was excited about the balls. Haha On the side they also gave two sauces and jalapeños which complimented the pho delightfully. Whenever I pass this place, it smells great. I've tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and it helps you wake up. It has the right amount of sugar to milk ratio. I tried the grilled pork chop banh mi, it's a good portion. I wish the sandwich had an fried egg option and they provided hot sauce. I think hot sauce would have given it that extra kick it needs. Overall great place, will visit again. read more

My friend and I stopped by on a Saturday morning to grab a quick Banh mih. When we arrived there was no one else in the restaurant which is good because it is very small and I'm sure it would be difficult to a social distance. The cashier was friendly and took our order quickly. We ordered a pork chop Banh mih. The pork seemed like it was cooked fresh and tasted very delicious. The veggies that came with it were good but pretty average. The bread though was very plain and disappointing. It seemed like they just took it out of a bag and slapped some toppings on it. It would have been better if the bread tasted fresher and was toasted or something along those lines. Not sure if we just ordered an average dish and need to order another one in order to appreciate the restaurant more like other yelpers. I had the chicken pho which was hearty and delicious although the chicken didn't really look like chicken. It had more of a beef flavor even though I know it wasn't beef compared to the pictures. There was plenty of meat and the noodles were fresh. Like all the places around my apartment I always pre-order for pick up so I have no wait. read more

Descent pho spot. It's close to my office and the service is pretty fast and good. I ordered combo d which is their soup and sandwich combo. I got the half chicken sandwich with shrimp pho and a drink. Everything was okay, but it's a nice consistent spot. Soup was a little bland so I had to add a lot of lime, hoisin and chili paste. This was an awesome practically hidden spot along Nassau! I picked up some food to-go after a gym trip and on my way to a working lunch - I was absolutely starving and needed a big bowl of noodle soup! The interior is very unassuming, but the smell is absolutely incredible as soon as you walk in. The counters were full of customers during a weekday in the mostly dead financial district, which is always a good sign. The beef pho I ordered was delicious, and the Thai tea was sweet and flavorful. The veggies and spices in the pho were very fresh, and I drank every last drop of the yummy broth. A great hole in the wall spot for delicious pho. This is my go-to spot whenever I'm in the financial district. I used to come here all the time with my friends after going to the gym in the area. I got the vegan tofu pho, which is the BEST vegan pho I've ever had. The tofu is soft and sweet and with the saltiness of the soup it's perfect. Reasonable prices and nice staff as well. This place doesn't get the attention it deserves. read more

Maybe we came on an off day or we didn't order the right item but thought my shrimp pho was very very average? Came here in the late afternoon on a Friday wanting to try the beef pho however was informed by the cashier that they already ran out. The shrimp pho was very light. There was not much flavor to the soup besides the spice and salt. Portion was ok for the price. Thought the whole thing was just meh Definitely want to come back and try their beef pho. Came here in desperate need of asian soup due to a tickle in my throat. The dark lighting, metal stools and sauce bespeckled walls made me almost prefer this location over the Tribeca one because it felt more like a real hole in the wall asian joint. Plus it is CASH ONLY as of October 2019, how very asian! The cash only policy seemed to be vexing to many customers and one even stormed out. The work around is to order online on their website which accepts credit card and don't forget to use the 10% off discount code "district10". If you order the "eat in" option online, be sure NOT to abide by the pick up time listed on the website and tell the cashier you ordered online for eat in. They do not prepare your food until you are present in person so there is no point in waiting. Unlike some other places, beansprouts, cilantro and scallions come pre mixed into your pho so be sure to specify if you don't want any of these. The porkchop pho I ordered was pretty solid, decent portion size, perfect pork to pho ratio (a rarity!) and the pork was tasty if a bit fatty. Sadly, the noodles went soft very quickly but maybe that's just encouragement to eat faster. If you need pho and can't make it to Chinatown or Flushing, this place is not a bad option even if their service policies are a little wonky. read more

Not a bad spot for pho and banh mi! I believe it's the only viet spot in fidi that offers pho and banh mi. I ordered their beef pho and classic banh mi to go. I'll say that the pho has some good flavor but definitely taste the salt and pepper used. They give you a good amount of noodles and alright amount of beef shank. As for the classic banh mi, again not bad. A bit bigger banh mi than most that I've had. It's more bread but tastes good. My only issue is that the was no prices shown on their menu and it came out a bit more expensive than I personal like. But then again I live in Chinatown so there more options. This is the only spot I know of in fidi so I guess price matches its location and lack of competition. Still overall good viet spot for pho and banh mi and would recommend! read more

Unfortunately, this didn't hit the spot for me. I was starving and really craving a banh mi. I am not a banh mi expert, but I have eaten enough of these sandwiches to know what I like. The Classic at Vietspot bore little resemblance to my favorites. Instead of crackly, baguette-like bread, this sandwich came on a giant, torpedo shaped bread. I have never had a banh mi with ground pork, and after trying to eat this one - and spilling it all over my pants in the park - I know why. The pate was barely funky and had an unappealing skin of gelled fat. The pickled carrots were good, and the fresh cilantro lent an herby burst of flavor, but neither could ultimately redeem this sandwich. read more

Perfect spot for lunch. The Pho was on point, and the grilled pork rice looked really good! This restaurant was located in a very convenience location in the FiDi, and was a cute little spot, where you could pass by and grab a quick lunch on your week day. A very tiny spot is hidden in the financial district. It took the people in front of us to finish their order. And I found out why when it was my turn. The cashier seemed to be new and took her time to count the cash. It was $14.15 for the beef pho that I ordered but she said $14.50. I even asked her twice of how much it was. So I gave her $15 and 50 cents. Then she gave me back $1 plus 35 cents. I was speechless. The pho was very good. I had it to go and the noodle & soup were packed separately. The noodle was still chewy and soup was still hot when I get back to work. I added a lot of spicy paste and chiracha. read more

First bowl of pho in NYC in about 20 years.my impression is that NYC is nowhere near California in quality of Pho. Non Vietnamese staff. Not a deal breaker but it's a series of things including overly salty lacking beef flavor broth, summer rolls full of iceberg lettuce, premade and wrapped in Saran. I came here with my friends the other day after the gym, and it was delicious. I got the grilled chicken pho and my friends go tofu & grilled chicken rice bowl, and tofu pho. I ended up only taking a photo of my friends food because my pho was so good i immediately devoured it haha. the service is super friendly. small shop but it was just us three eating in there. their thai iced tea is *chefs kiss*. one of the best thai iced tea's i've had in a while. this location was easy to find and they have a variety of other delicious vietnamese dishes in here! i highly recommend everyone to check this spot out and support this local business. super close to the Fulton Center train station. delicious authentic vietnamese food. Quick recap: this pho is pho real Might have been the best pho I've had in Manhattan. Small joint, friendly staff, banging pho. The pho here has depth. Most pho I've had in these neck of the woods taste like simple beef broth. The noodles are appropriate for pho, not spaghetti noodles or thick noodles. The price point is also spot on. The two things I will point out is 1. They don't have chili oil :( and 2. The amount of noodles they give you is generous to say the least. Not necessarily a bad thing but if you prefer less noodles, this will kill you. Spot is clean, small, and truly ny. Highly recommend this joint. read more

The pho were amazing! I don't know if it's because I had the craving for it for a while now but my friend and I really enjoyed. We got the cooker beef pho and summer rolls. The pho were in great portion! My friend couldn't finish. Definitely recommend eating the pho with the hoisin, sriracha sauce, and my favorite, GARLIC CHILI SAUCE! The place is pretty small but they have a few individual seats indoor and there is a 2 seat for two outside shares with I believe an Italian restaurant. You can also do takeouts! read more

This is my second time ordered from this place, last time I ordered to go and this time I decided to stay and eat. Last time I had a pork chop vermicelli noodle and it was burnt, this time I had a pho with beef. I thought I gave it a try. Turned out okay. The food isn't amazing, just average, so I thought it is somewhere on the pricy side. $13 for a pho. Guess you pay for the location. Conveniently located in downtown near Fulton. I'll give it 3.5 stars for trying. Had the classic banh mi today, wasn't impressed. The pickle carrots didn't have a lot of flavor. They only give you pickle carrots not a mix of pickle daikon and carrots like other places which is what I prefer. The amount of Mayo they put on mine was overwhelming. Everything was covered in Mayo. I wanted to get a photo of it but my hands were also covered in Mayo. Overall just bland. I've had better Vietnamese food in SGV! read more

They told me they could get me noodles, but acted like they were doing me a favor by fetching noodles for me, which was quite offputting because the noodles were quite literally half of the dish I actually ordered. How does one wait half-an-hour at a very casual fast Vietnamese food place, for premade soup and noodles, and still have the order wrong? In the end, I did get my noodles and broth, but the fact that I had to spend this much time and also justify my request for noodles (which are part of the dish) is quite insane. I put this at 2 stars for now, because I enjoyed my first time. Hopefully the service will improve.
