The view of Manele Bay from Views Restaurant.
    Holly B.

Located in the The Challenge at Manele Golf Club, Views Restaurant certainly lives up to it's name with panoramic views of Manele Bay and environs surrounding it. Just beautiful! We had lunch there and enjoyed it tremendously! We started with drinks. I had the original mojito that was refreshingly delicious. As appetizers, we tried the tempura king crab roll, tempura fried California-style sushi rolls with pickled ginger and a generous helping of wasabi. Winner! We also tried the kalbi lettuce wraps, a take on Thai spring rolls wrapped in fresh lettuce, with all the condiments. Ono! Lunch was the following: Shrimp BLT, grilled shrimp in two 1/2 pitas with crispy French fries, fish and chips with all the condiments, shrimp summer rolls, and my shrimp tacos - 3 tacos with 3 shrimp in each masa tortilla, with a wedge of lime for each taco. Everything was delicious, but the bill came to $259 for 4 of us, pricey for lunch!

On our first day on Lanai, we made reservations for lunch at Views Restaurant overlooking Manele Bay, Hulopoe Beach, and Sweetheart Rock. What spectacular views of the area, enhanced by the blue skies, sunshine, gentle tradewinds, and great company! We enjoyed the friendly reception, friendly staff and prompt service. I enjoyed the crab stuffed tempura sushi plate! So ono! Also enjoyed the lilikoi strawberry lemonade, and the chocolate cookie coffee ice cream sandwich for dessert! Woo hoo!

Do not bother coming here unless you are staying at the four seasons. Visitors from Maui are not welcome.

Food: Had their Taco Tuesday dinner menu. Highlights were their Parker rolls with miso butter, tako taco, and birria tacos. Sommelier Chuck Furuya, was walking around talking to tables and provided our party with a wine offering that we really enjoyed. Their axis deer pasta comes with trofie pasta, a very short twisted noodle that was a hit or miss with our group.

We danced until we sadly had to take our ride back to the 4Seasons Lanai at 9:00. We heard the party went on for hours and eventually back to someone's house. The food was to die for. Local venison sausage in a bed of perfectly cooked polenta with a rim of sautéed roasted peppers. Then can you believe hanger steak cooked perfectly medium rare towards rare. Butter basted and sliced against the grain. Great red wine from the souther Rhone valley in France. One of those total experiences we will always remember. This is the way the world should be but alas no way. Thank you Lanai.

We sat inside though bc we had four in our party. Only twofers were seated outside. Definitely healthy and not large portions so you don't feel gross after stuffing your face. Service was lovely and solicitous albeit the food takes a while. Breakfast has healthy options. The hub had oatmeal and I had avo toast. I don't wanna be basic but it was a sensei recommended healthy choice. And it was different from the usual avocado toast. Had beets and radishes and egg whites. Lunch I had the mushroom soup which was really flavorful and mushroom forward. Also had the broccolini which was fine. It was a late lunch and so I ate light but honestly I was hungry an hour later. The hub had ahi donburi which was good but had only three tbsp of rice. Definitely healthy Dinner was excellent. Fish is prepared well both the catch of the day and salmon. But no side dishes come with so gotta order separately. MIL got the mushroom tobanyaki which was delicious but it's a lotta mushrooms so make sure you LOVE mushrooms if you're gonna get this. And order a side of rice to eat with it. The hamachi app was fine pretty much exactly what you expect. The shiitake salad was excellent. Green beans and cauliflower sides fine. Got mushrooms too. Guess we love mushrooms. The best was the dessert - some kind of melon balls and semifreddo balls and rice tuile. Super light and refreshing and delicious! Overall a really nice restaurant visually full of light, great service and healthy thoughtfully prepared foods.

Melanie was waiting outside and sent her daughter and other half to pick up their drinks when finished. The little girl said thank you and the worker smiled at her. I overheard Melanie ask her daughter if the worker said "you're welcome" to which the daughter responded no. Melanie could be heard saying "some people are just awkward." Then I heard Melanie ask her other half "What's the name of this place?" I already knew she was going to write a negative review. Just a rude customer trying to find something to complain about. Service for me was good. The drinks did take a while to make, but the worker apologized for the wait and thanked me. To the yelper Melanie, learn some patience and have some grace.

They're located inside the Donquijote Food Court and have ample seating inside as well as outside. I went with the Wagyu burger, fries, and tossed salad, and all three were very tasty. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the fries were salty and crispy on the outside, and the tossed salad was light and the dressing paired perfectly with it. One thing to keep in mind: they make everything fresh to order, so the wait can be a little longer than your typical quick-service spot. I actually think the freshness is worth the extra time, but it's something to be aware of if you're in a hurry. Also tried the Apple Mint Mojito, which was delicious--light, refreshing, and a great complement to the burger. One tip: If you prefer your burger more well-done, definitely let them know when you order. The burger can come out on the rarer/juicier side, so communicate your preferred doneness upfront. Overall, a tasty meal with quality ingredients and a nice made-to-order feel. 5/5 stars and I'd definitely come back.

TIKI DAVE and family loves TIN ROOF MAUI!…read more While our cruise ship was in port, we stopped in after I did some serious research to settle upom Tin Roof and boy were we glad! Holy smokes, that Mochicko Chicken [Hawaiian-style fried chicken made by marinating bite-sized chicken pieces in a sweet and savory soy-garlic batter featuring mochiko (sweet rice flour) before deep-frying] is the bomb! Super crispy bits, amazing flavor, served over garlic noodles...man alive, if you are in Maui and don't grab takeout here, you may as well not go to Maui. It is takeout only and my wife didn't want fried food so she ordered something from the Mexican joint across the parking lot. Since she ordered food there, we figured it'd be ok to eat our heavenly chicken dishes there....NOPE; we were asked to leave. BOO. So we finished, well, the kids finished on the way to nearby Kanaha Beach Park and I finished mine there under the airport and within sight of our ship. It really is a lovely beach. TIKI DAVE from TIKI DAVE'S TERRIFIC TRIPS highly highly recommends TIN ROOF! I will be dropping a video of our experience shortly! Mac salad too. Prices also were reasonable. I would order from here again. Cons- I thought I ordered two large containers of Mac salad, but their idea of large and mine were different! Luckily I was able to order a third on the spot! Oh, also, I did preorder, but if I hadn't... I suppose another con would be that the line would have been crazy long!
