We had just gotten massages and were looking for a quick bite. Due to it being a Friday, the cafe was closing at 11am and it was 10:53. We went asked since it was the holiday and they said they would have seated us but they had no tables. We said no worries and asked if there was another place to get breakfast and they pointed us in the direction of the deli. The deli didn't open until 11am, but we waited and were the first customers served. (They get busy once they open! There was a line) I chose to order the Bacon, Eggs and Potatoes Breakfast and my boyfriend had the Ham & Egg Burrito. Once you place your order you are given a number and then wait for it to be called. We waited about 10 minutes and then our order was ready. I couldn't believe the amount of food I got for $9.99!! The potatoes were super good, the toast was yummy and the eggs were cooked to my liking. The bacon was ULTRA crispy but luckily that is the way my boyfriend prefers it so he ate it. He said his burrito was perfect and just the size he needed. They were able to easily accommodate his request of no cheese. Honestly as a local I had never been to this deli, but I'm glad we went. This review is for Vig Deli in the resort. Food took WAY too long. A lot of people waiting around. It seems as you get an order number for nothing as cooks make food in no particular order. People who ordered after me getting their food first. Even ahead of people who ordered before me. I only ordered oxtail soup to go. Soup is already made. So don't know why it took so long to ladle into container. After waiting about 30 minutes, I moved to the side where I could see behind the counter and notice 2 containers which look like my soup and rice. There was a girl restocking condiments so I asked if she could check for me. Sure enough it's my order just sitting there. The lady behind the counter made a comment like "I don't know why there's no ticket on this". She bagged my order and gave it to me. How long had my order been sitting there?! I ate almost everything at this place during my 4 night trip over New Years since I have so much Penn Play dollars to burn and since you get 2 dollars spending for ever 1 dollar in penn play cash, 50% off here was the best deal I had in Vegas since the early 2000s. And at 50% with Penn Play, order 2. Now in dead last the Mexican food. It really is hard for Non Mexicans to make good Mexican food. And these cooks were not Mexican. hahahaha 9. Nachos. I've had very mixed experiences here over the years, and that hasn't changed with my latest update! I had 2 entrees, fish tacos and steak tacos. They're served on corn shells, and all the shells were soft. They also fell apart when picked up! Pretty crappy. The fish, steak and the sauce was ok, but overall they were sad tacos. It's pretty hard to mess up tacos! They also don't have salsa. The Patty Melt is usually a good quality choice, but last time it was a little subpar. The burger I ordered medium rare was overcooked. The deli is usually quite busy, so they must be doing something right. Unfortunately, it's usually not what I'm ordering! I've had the fried shrimp meal a few times, and this is consistently very good. The menu has great variety, from sandwiches to hot dogs, pizza, salads, etc. They also usually have a daily special which can include paninis, soup & salad, or seafood meals on Fridays. I doubt that we will return to this restaurant for takeout because we ended up paying $20 apiece for two sandwiches. the sandwich price was $15.99 ($16). As we began the payment process, they asked if we wanted to leave a tip and I said "sure". if we had known that they were going to have a service charge for almost the same amount as the tip, there would not have been any tip. we do take out all the time and I've never been charged a service charge. As locals, we enjoy coming to the M casino and we've gotten take-out from the Vig Deli multiple times. The wait to order and get our food usually takes around 20 total minutes, sometimes a little faster or slower depending on the time of day and day of the week. We've tried a good portion of the menu at this point. Favorites include the cheesesteak, BLT, Club sandwich, and onion rings. The sandwiches are fairly large, they make a solid meal by themselves but can also be shared if you pair it with a side of fries or onion rings. The club sandwich and BLT are hearty on the bacon and worth the price. The cheesesteak is good but can be messy with all of the toppings. I'd recommend giving this spot a try at the M, especially for the sandwiches. read more

Have been eating here since the day they opened. This place is definitely hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes bad, Sometimes they are fast and sometimes it takes forever to get your food. The line is always constant no matter what time you arrive. I've had many days where the service and wait was so terrible I will swear to never come back, but then I get good service and I forgive the rudeness. One common denominator is that they are constantly raising their prices and taking things off their menu. I've had a rule about delicatessens since I was young. Order the grilled Reuben and see how their skills are. So, I saw that the M Casino had a deli and decided to try it out. So, per usual, I ordered the grilled Reuben and a side of Onion Rings. Now, first off, the menu says Reuben, not Grilled Reuben and I have to say that while the sandwich itself was grilled, it certainly could have used more time on the grill AND you don't grill bread on the grill dry! Really?!? This is grilling 101. So, they don't call it a grilled Reuben for a reason. It's BARELY grilled! Second, not nearly enough of anything. It needs more meat, more sauerkraut, more 1000 Island Dressing and more Swiss cheese. I paid nearly $20 for this meal and it didn't even come CLOSE to delivering what it should have been. The pastrami was dry. The sauerkraut was too wet. This sandwich was a warm mess. I'd say it was a hot mess, but I already discussed the under grilled bread. The onion rings were from a bag, not hand made at all. And what they charge compared to what is delivered is brutal. If you want a truly great Reuben then I would suggest this. Butter the bread and grill until golden brown, not whatever you call this. While the bread is grilling you can put a nice slice of baby Swiss on one side and a slice of Priceline on the other. Then grill the sauerkraut until caramelised adding in the meat (corned beef or pastrami or both) and grill together so the meat picks up the sauerkraut juices to prevent from drying out. Right before the cheese is melted place 1oz off 1000 island on one side and 1 oz of sour cream and horseradish on the other. Transfer the meat and sauerkraut to the toasted bread and add the other piece on top to close the sandwich. Cut in half and serve with a few less pickle chips. And THAT is how you make a proper grilled Reuben. If you aren't going to do it right, don't do it at all! It always amazes me how someone can have most of the ingredients correct, but still manage to completely blow it on the actual presentation. This was one of the worst Reuben's I've ever had. Normally I try to stay away from hotel quick bites, however, the many times we've eaten at Vig Deli, everything has been quite good! Last time we came was during Covid times in February and although do allow indoor seating in Las Vegas, the Deli was way too crowded for us to feel safe in eating so we decided to just order and eat in our room. Service is very quick when it's not busy, however, I feel as though a lot of locals eat here and order tons of food to go as their were a lot of huge orders going for take-out. They do temperature checks right before you order, even if you don't plan to dine in, which I thought was strange because they do it at the register versus instead of at the entrance before going in. Unfortunately they took off the weekend late night steak and eggs. I believe it used to be after midnight and only $7 ish? for steak, 2 eggs, potatoes, and toast. Maybe they will bring it back eventually. Everything we've tried here was pretty tasty and comes out hot. They do have coffee and soda machines for refills. First of all, my sandwich was very good. It was packed full of tasty chicken salad, and it was reasonably priced. It was way better vs the deli at South Point around the corner: 4 Stars. Secondarily, the portion of fries were massive, and they were piping hot & crispy. In addition, the fries were thick, making them easier to grip. The three of us couldn't finish them: 4 Stars. My rellies are regulars and enjoyed their meals. They are locals and frequent the M earning points for free food. Regarding the ambiance, its nothing to speak of. There are simply some tables available to self seat yourself. Nonetheless, the tables were clean: 3 Stars. On the other hand, the service was excellent. The cashier was super nice, the food came out quickly, and someone came by to bus our table. The service was way better vs South Point that is slow AF: 5 Stars. So no real complaint there; they knew what was up and delivered. Ambiance - It's a deli in the middle of a casino floor at a reasonably low-volume casino with nice styling at the far south of the strip. It's leaps and bounds better than South Point in terms of ambiance; but you're going to drive another 10 minutes and get your food about another 20 minutes slower. Food is better quality at Vig. Desserts are better at South Point's Deli. I'd say give it a try if you're not in a hurry to be somewhere else. read more

Located inside the M Resort right next to the sports book area, we were pleasantly surprised at the options they had here not the mention the decent prices. Your order at the counter and they call out you number so you can go pick up your order at a different counter. What I ended up getting was a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl ($9.99). It's decent sized bowl with just enough chicken and veggies. They give you lots of rice so I only ended up eating all the veggies and chicken. Only ate like half the rice. Overall, it's a decent place to eat if you dont want to spend too much money. The only thing that bothered me was that when people are by themselves they sit at a table meant for 4 people when there are plenty of tables meant for 1 or 2.
