Is anyone Celiac and had JUST the chorizo? Is it Gluten-free? Thanks!

yes, it's just meat inside and a pork casing. no fillers.

    Do they serve beer?

Being that this is mostly a breakfast and then lunch place .... they do not have the demand for beer and wine to warrant a liquor license, so NO there is no beer served here.

    Are reservations recommended?

No. We showed up and sat immediately at 11:00am on a Saturday.

No space or energy is wasted. An absolutely perfect little diner...oh, and the prices are so good compared to anything else around here. Patty Melt - I was surprised my wife got this, but she enjoyed it. She did say it was very oily and messy. I forgot to try your homestyle spuds... Just means I need to come back. Ambiance - A good size dinner; see pictures. Cool decor. Semi open kitchen. Free standing, approximately two store fronts. Counter or table seating, all indoor. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week 6am to 2pm. Clean restrooms. Service - Just okay. It took a while for the waitress to acknowledge us. I know she was busy and I believe there were only two waitresses and one bus girl. But she literally walked by us 10 times without saying anything and with no eye contact, nothing. A simple, "I will be right with you" would have been nice. Once she got to our table, approximately 10 minutes later, it was a more positive experience. The one young bus girl is a hard worker and was nicer. Price - $24.20 + tip. Reasonably priced. Well in today's environment, it is inexpensive. Cash only (or checks); no credit or debit cards. They do have an ATM inside. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success 1980. And all your family's successes in the Bay Area, CA. See pictures and their decor.

There's both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a charming little gift shop tucked into one corner featuring unique gifts, including items from local artisans. The building feels modern and well maintained, and they even have a private indoor room that can be reserved for larger groups. The menu offers a great variety of specialty coffees, desserts, sandwiches, and wraps. Best of all, they have several gluten-free options for both meals and desserts, making it a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious gluten-free choices. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. LA Bakery is a wonderful find!

Visiting Carson City for the first time in years, I had really high hopes for this place. When we…read morewalked in I really liked how it was decorated and it had a good vibe. We came for breakfast and we had a very simple order. It consisted of a breakfast burrito, Gold Latte, a coffee and a lemon poppy seed muffin. It shouldn't be too hard to fulfill this order right? Wrong! My breakfast burrito and Gold Latte came out first. The burrito was good and the Gold Latte was also tasty. The woman that dropped off my order asked if we had anything else coming. I told her we had ordered a lemon poppy seed muffin. She never came back. Another woman came over with a muffin but it was blueberry. Wrong again. At this point, we decided to skip the muffin and I requested my money back since I was getting frustrated. No apology either for not being able to get the order right. I love supporting a women owned business but I just found it hard to understand how a simple order could confuse so many people. Perhaps there is an issue between the front of the house and the kitchen?? Maybe it was an off day but it did not seem that way.

All of the breakfast option looked good but big so I went for a sandwich. It had a fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, jack cheese and green chiles and the tastiest, hot, perfectly seasoned fries. The sandwich was a bit too big to bite so I took off the bread and ate it with my knife and fork. The combination of flavors worked well together, lol hence the name I'm guessing. But the fries were the star. I believe my server was the manager, she was timely taking my order, and I didn't wait long for my food either. The restaurant looked similar to another Pegs in Sparks. Plenty of booths and tables.

The waitress was polite and professional. She quickly served us coffee and took our order. I ordered the Peglet omelette which has jack and cheddar cheese with bacon bits. It came with hash browns and toast. The omelette was a good size, fluffy and with tons of cheese and bacon bits. It was pretty good and I would order it again. This is a good place for breakfast with plenty to choose from and I recommend it.
