I ordere here for pick up on a Thursday night. It was easy with no crowds. I forgot to take pics of the food, but it was above average. We ordered the combo 1, which came with chicken rice and beans. It's was flavorful and just hit the spot. The chicken was falling off the bone, the white rice was flavorful and not bland and beans were good. I will continue to order from here because the food is good and the price for the combo 1 was only $25

Back at it again.. Decided I'll give them another try since it's been a year frm the last time I've had their food. & it's still just ok. The baked chicken was barely toasted the skin was orange? Yuck & was extremely salty. & gravy was bland. Empanadas we're good as per usual. But how can you mess that up? Lol

Paid extra for this little amount. Not going back!

Don't usually invest time in reviews, but this place is overpriced, and employees take advantage of customer!! Went o pick up a mangu that had barely any onions, asked the girl at counter if she could please add some more. She charged me extra instead for a cup of onions , and the cup was not even half filled. This is not the firs time their Mangu came with very little onions, but was not expecting her attitude and the extra charge. Lost a loyal customer. Optional location "Lolita's" Parsons and unión tpke, with much better price, customer service, and tasteful.

Today was my first day trying food from this particular restaurant. And I have to admit there food was delicious. There breaded chicken cutlets was great. They were seasoned just right and soft with a little bit of crispiness at the same time . Usually you don't get that same combination. There French fries were also good ,they weren't hard at all, like some other restaurant. But I would have to say I would definitely go back to this restaurant again. Plus they give you a nice portion of food. La Aurora is definitely my new favorite Dominican restaurant.

The food was delicious! Staff were very friendly. I will definitely go back here. I had the beef stew with rice and beans , it was great!

In the mood for Beef Stew, I placed an order for that as well as Arroz Con Gandules and Empanadas (Beef and Chicken). The food came rather quickly which felt like a blessing from the man above. The beef stew came with white rice and beans. The stew was succulent, fall apart tender, and well seasoned. I like that it was placed in a separate container. I wish the beef stew had potatoes. It had carrots which I'm not a huge fan of. The beans weren't bad but I didn't care for the huge peppers in the beans. I decided to use the beef stew sauce on the white rice. The arroz con gandules was bland as heck. I ended up tossing it out. There was no way of saving the rice. The empanadas were fried nicely and were a decent size.

The 1/2 chicken with rice and black beans was seasoned well and cooked to perfection, I've also had the chicken in garlic sauce and the salmon in garlic sauce both great dishes as well. Second time at this restaurant in 4 days

Amazing food. Great customer service as well. I ordered the Dominican breakfast and it was the best I've had. The mangu was delicious. I also got a mango batido. Definitely my new spot for breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner and you can dine in or take out. 10 out of 10 experience.

All the locals line up for this delicious food, and it's so worth it! Delicious food, great prices, generous portion sizes, large variety of menu options, great customer service! They have a HUGE menu! (See my menu photos). Most items (not all) are premade, and kept in hot steamer tables, ready for your order. There are a few items that are made to order. Our mofongo took about 15 min for them to make, but we didn't mind. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. They took such great care in packaging our food. I was so impressed! Each item is overflowing the containers since the portions are very generous. They make sure to wrap each item individually, in plastic wrap, to avoid any kind of spillage. Don't waste any of the delicious juices and gravy! I really appreciated that the food didn't get spilled in the car before I got home! Kudos to the staff! We tried: -- Sancocho Soup ($11/Large): comes with a pint of white rice. Comfort food at it's best. Very good! -- Mofongo w.Pork ($10): comes with a small container of gravy. The Mofongo itself was a bit dry but good after you include some gravy. Very good and worth the wait! This was a great first experience and I can't wait to go back to try their goat stew, roast pork and other goodies. This restaurant is very busy, so the fast turnover for the food kept the dishes fresh and tasty. Rincon Dominicano is more of a takeout place but if you'd like to eat in, they do have about 10 stool seatings by the counter looking out of the window. Restaurant is very clean. So glad I finally made it here, and we shall be back to try other menu items!

Has a lot of seafood as well as Dominican, Colombian, Mexican. Sadly, what we ordered pretty much sucked. Pernil: C+ Oh, God, it was dry. Dry, dry, dry. You get a very large portion of extremely dry meat with a "cap" of nicely crisped fat. The kind of crispy fat you'd expect from pernil. However, there is very little flavor (compared to my wife's pernil, which may be an unfair comparison, since her pernil rocks my world -- I would've married her for her pernil alone). Very little flavor, and dry, dry, dry. No pernil marinade (that I could taste). There was lime served on the side, but the pernil should be *cooked* with lime. Not enough fat. It was either vastly overcooked or reheated aggressively with dry heat. Tip to the chef: reheating things in a pan and sprinkling water on the meat yields much nicer meat than popping it in the microwave. Using a microwave to reheat meat never works. It overcooks the meat. I consider it inedible. Pollo Mexicano: C+ Similar problem as the pernil. It has a beautifully flavorful salsa, but the chicken was so dry that you have to choke down the chicken When you take a bite, it's difficult to get the chicken to go down your throat because it's bone dry. They vastly overcook the chicken and make the salsa separately. They then toss the bone dry chicken into the yummy salsa and you get cardboard chicken in a delicious salsa. I consider it inedible.

Celebrating my eldest graduating today we decided to try Casita RD , we always read so many reviews and it pops up on recommendations around social platforms. The food was great as well as the presentation of each drink and meal brought out to us I ordered the Oxtail with a side yucca mash with added cheese , the oxtail was extremely tender as it should be and the flavor was really well seasoned more on the savory tangy side that paired well with the velvety texture of the yucca mash , I added cheese to my mash however next time (because there will be a next) I would prefer without the cheese flavor of the mash was perfect as is ! My S/o ordered the Boca Chica which was a deep fried Snapper , I cannot really speak on how the flavor of that was but he finished it and was full and satisfied , he paired that with some yucca fries which were very filling . My children both had their own meals of fried chicken my son with fries he's pretty simple and my daughter chose the Moro , the Moro looked so good I asked if I could try some and I am so happy I did bc the Moro especially at a restaurant was flavorful and on point ! I was happy with the food we chose , our family friend ordered the mofongo with the chiccharon she had to have me try it because she said it was delicious and it was , the chiccaron paired with the creamy sauce was such a decadent pairing and not too much , for drinks we ordered a few items like the Morir sonando that was made with fresh pressed orange juice and tasted like one of the greatest creamsicles I can find and I had a Chinola juice , which was perfect not too sweet. my husband had a few drinks , I ordered the white wine sangria which also was strong and very delicious served with fresh fruit . For the ending of our meal we had the tres leches and the lava Cake , we aall shared although the lava cake baked fresh to order I wasn't a fan I prefer the tres leches . I had a more than happy food experience and state it again extremely happy with all the food choices we honestly ate so much that there's items I failed to even talk about bc they were just great but I will be coming back again soon ! I can strongly say even if I didn't try a item I could say it would be good and well prepared their service is great and the food and drinks are made to perfection
