Pizza was pretty good but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the environment was basically a Chucky Cheese with all the screaming children and none of the entertainment for said children[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], also an employee kept walking up and putting a reserved sign on the table we were sitting at as if we weren't sitting there, which is just rude. Im a pretty none confrontational guy, I dont like to cause issues with people just trying to do their jobs, but after the third time of us having to move the sign off of our table I was staring down the staff just waiting for them to try it again cause I was not having that, I really did not want to get into it with a worker but man they were pushing my patience, which they didnt attempt again thankfully. A tasty place with a killer, healthy salad as well as a rich, decadent dessert. I typically used to stop by just to pick up a slice of chocolate or red velvet cake to go, but recently tried their salad/sandwich combos. Why did it take me so long to do that? I was ecstatic to have a filling salad that wasn't heavy or fatty. I particularly enjoyed the uniqueness of the pickled red onions on the raspberry salad - I loved that! It's always refreshing to have something stand out when it comes to a soup/salad/sandwich/pizza place. The Turkey, Provolone, Avocado sandwich was delicious, though fell apart easily. I got it all over the place and would've appreciated a toothpick or two to keep it together while I was eating it. Like mentioned before, they have an impressive dessert spread, set up all nice and organized before the register - very strategically placed where you gawk and stare at it while standing in line to order. There are surprisingly few options for breakfast/brunch in Lehi. After vigorously searching the internet for a brunch spot for a semi-large group, I stumbled upon Village Baker. Their breakfast options are pretty basic compared to what you might find at your local mom-and-pop type diners, but there was something for everyone. As you might expect from the name, most of the breakfast options are bread-based. They do make quiches, though, which might be the only breakfast option that would work for gluten-free eaters. I ordered the french toast, which came with two thick slabs of french bread french toast, whipped cream, strawberries, and syrup. The syrup was called "buttermilk syrup" but to me it tasted like caramel syrup. It was delicious but made me feel a bit guilty about basically eating dessert for breakfast. This review is for the employee named Angela. I placed a scheduled DoorDash order a few days in advance and was having issues with confirming the order on the actual date. DoorDash was saying that Village Baker should see the order in their system but VB couldn't locate the order. I was panicking a bit because this was a lunch order I placed for work, and I am based in SF. This location is in UT. Angela went above and beyond to ensure my order would be completed. She gave me her cell number and texted me status updates throughout the day. She worked with DoorDash on the phone and eventually, after a lot of back and forth, they were able locate and complete my order just in time. I'm not sure if there was a glitch with their system or with DoorDash's, but I really appreciated the direct line of communication with Angela. I'm not sure how I never heard of this place before my wife took me there for dinner a couple of years ago. Since then, I have returned many times and have never been disappointed. First of all, I'm impressed by the high quality breads. Second of all, I was very impressed with the high quality service. Every person I've met there from the order takers to the bakers to the servers to the busers are all amazing. Even the high school kids working there. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Village Baker makes a salad that even satisfies me. I hate it when you order a salad and there's so few toppings on the top that you can count them. I've literally had some at other places where you could count how many pieces of chicken or ham they put. That's not a problem at Village Baker. The sandwiches are amazing too. Try the club on sourdough or the egg salad on squaw. The combo will leave anyone full. Keep it up, Village Baker. I only had the half of a blt, but I definitely want to try this place again when I return to visit my sister in Utah. It's the closest thing I have seen here that remains me of the little mom and pop bakeries we have back at home. The bread was truly excellent--fresh and fluffy. The cookies, cakes, and pastries also looked delicious. I think it's a little overpriced (6 bucks for half a sandwich..) but everything is these days so whatever. I love Village Baker not only for their bakery items (the Honey Rye is my favorite!) but also for their regular menu. We lunched inside today and enjoyed salad and pizza. I bought a loaf of Honey Rye to go. I wanted a coffee, but the person taking my order seemed a little confused on how I wanted it prepared, so I skipped it. With all the pizza places in the Traverse area, it would be tough to stand apart but Village Baker (who's not even known specifically for pizza) pulls it off with flare and flavor. Highly recommend the Santa Fe (chicken, Alfredo, and green chili) but you can assemble your own in whatever way you like. They do a good job with the crust (not too doughy and not too crunchy) and the portions are generous. They also do a great job with salads. I recommend the Southwestern salad (with the southwestern dressing) because it has tons of flavor in every bite. They have a delectable assortment of baked desserts that are quite good as well. The service is fast and reasonably friendly and we have come back many times when passing through this area, always with great results. read more

Such a crowd pleaser. Even a simple turkey sandwich feels special here. The bread is definitely the star, so fluffy and perfect, it's the meal that loves you back. But really every ingredient on it is also up to par- super fresh and flavorful. I have been a fan of 'VB' from their original sandwich shop in West Jordan. I'm so glad they have opened more locations and made it easier to access their delicious food. So far it all tastes the same as that original bakery. DO NOT do what other chains do and change your portions or ingredients! The place was packed on a Tuesday for lunch, but it didn't take long for them to make our food and bring it to our table. The manager was friendly and explained their items. The place is very cute and well done. Lots of baked goods to choose from while in line and a nice menu. Salads, pizza, sandwiches etc. oh and cookies and cakes and breads and stuff. I was wanting to be a bit healthier and got the mandarin chicken salad. Quite honestly it was pretty bland. Certainly not bad, but I didn't leave thinking "wow" that was amazing. Just not much flavor. Average chicken, greens and mandarin oranges and wonton strip things. Dressing was also just meh. This is my go-to whenever I'm in Lehi! Always a great and satisfying experience. Every time I've gone I've always tried something different and have always had a wonderful experience. We tried the chicken aglio pizza and it didn't disappoint. The crust is so soft and very fresh! The flavors on this pizza make you keep wanting more.
