Well, I just cannot say enough good stuff about Village Express and their donuts. The staff is always super nice, even threw in a few donut holes for me. There is always a huge selection. You want it they've got it! The maple is to die for! I ordered 2 maple bars and 1 bear claw today and let me tell you they did not disappoint. There was an old school car club meet up this morning. I love the community vibe and groups that meet up here every time I come there's a group of men enjoying their morning coffee and donuts. Come prepared as they are a cash only establishment.

These donuts are amazing! Stunningly fluffy and delicate and there is a great variety to choose from! I got a variety of raised donuts and a dozen donut holes. The donut holes didn't even make it home, they were so good. The owners are so friendly and sweet. I'm bummed it's so far from me or I would come all the time.

I'm not really a donuts person, but every time I am craving something sweet, I come here! They are so friendly. The first time I came here I ordered a dozen donut holes, but I didn't know it was cash only, so the man working gave them for me for free! Their donut holes are the best in sacramento, so soft and not overly sweet! Their donuts have the perfect texture, a little crisp on the outside with a soft and fluffy interior. They also offer croissants, which I will try next!

My first time at Village Express Donuts today and so far things went well. The staff was kind my plain cake peanut donut was tasty (I needed a tester lol) my husband enjoyed his apple-bear claw, then I started in on my apple fritter. First bite was delish! I went for the center where all the appley goodness lived only to find it under cooked and doughy...that threaded look. I will give the another chance because everything else was so good, hopefully next time my apple fritter will be completely cooked.

It's conveniently located…read morein South Sac close to other popular restaurants, so it's super easy to grab a drink after lunch should you crave some strong Vietnamese coffee (or other drinks they offer). Be warned, their Vietnamese coffee is very strong. I don't mind it though, and it's quite smooth. Most recently I had their ube cream coffee and that was delightful. There was plenty of ube cream, and once that was mixed in with the rest of the coffee, man was that delicious. I've taken my husband and a good friend of mine to Tram in the past and both of them enjoyed the drinks they chose as well. I have yet to try their matcha but my friend said it was great. If you're not keen on getting a Vietnamese coffee, their fruit teas are also nice and refreshing. I've had the Running Dragon in the past and that was really good. Even when they're busy, the staff have been able to get drinks out in a timely manner (at least that's my experience when I've gone). There also ample space to sit and enjoy your drinks, or hang out with friends. They even serve food here, but I have yet to try that too. Tram Cream Coffee is definitely in my rotation of favorite spots for an afternoon pick-me-up in the South Sac area, and I shall return.

DISCLAIMER: THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE DRINKS, NOT THE SERVICE…read more I've been to Tram Cream Coffee at-least 3 times now and every time I've gone I'm left feeling neither impressed nor satisfied. The drinks are great quality, don't get me wrong. The strength of their coffee alone is enough to make you feel like you can run for an hour straight without any breaks. My only gripe is the portion size. Every time I've gone my drinks are almost always never properly filled. If I am spending near $7-8 on average for a SMALL coffee, I expect to have my drink filled every time. There is zero excuse to not fill the gaps of my drinks when I pay extra for the foam/cream that is meant to be included in my drinks. In fact, every time I've gone it is always a problem with the portions. The drinks are never filled properly to the brim or it's just littered with 60-70% ice and you get maybe 30-40% of your actual drink on a good day. I really hope the owners take this review to heart and improve on the portion/presentation of their drinks. Having your drinks filled all the way with foam/cream when your customers pay for it goes a LONG way. It makes your customers feel as if they are paying for the drink they deserve. The quality and taste of the drinks are amazing, but the portions alone make me want to pursue other competitors that treat me right and give me what I pay for.

I had the cold brew with their sweet cream on the top. The cold brew was strong and the cream had a premium stiffness to it that standard coffee places don't do.
